The imagery, the lyrics....are just so good. Plus she sings it with such emotion, it's hard not to fall in love with it.

For Good (reprise) from Wicked
It's haunting, simple as that. Kristin Chenoweth, sings at full force, while Idina is almost doing backing vocals. When I first heard it, I though it was Idina's character's ghost singing, along with Kristin Chenoweth's character, that was before I was really familiar with the show.

There's a lot of songs that I think are very beautiful... I'll try to name some of them:


Evanescence

Like You: I get the whole feeling of it, I think this song is what makes me closest to Amy (not that we are really close, but you got it). Makes me remember my brothers who died when I was 6 and 7, I believe. So, the lyrics just hit me very powerfully. And I think Like You is better than Hello because of the music and the vocals... It made me cry like a baby a lot of times.

Before The Dawn & Anywhere: Make me smile, make me dream...

Good Enough: I cried when I listened to it too, but it was tears of joy, obviously. Everyone pointed out the reasons why they love the song and I agree with you all.

My Last Breath: The whole song just gives me shivers, it's just oh so awesome!!!

Listen To The Rain: Makes me wanna sing along everytime, relaxing... Oh yeah!... And I like it better when it's in that version along with Eternal, Away From Me and Demise... The whole pack is awesome


Nightwish

Ever Dream, Forever Yours & Dead Boy's Poem: So so beautiful...!

Nemo, Gethsemane, Amaranth & Wish I Had An Angel: Just like My Last Breath, they give me shivers!


Within Temptation

Hand of Sorrow, The Truth Beneath The Rose & The Cross: Same as My Last Breath, Nemo, etc etc.

Frozen, Forgiven & Pale: Lyrics, vocals, music... They rock...!



Someone said "Wishing you were somehow here again" from The Phantom of the Opera, completely agreed!

How to Save a Life, by The Fray: Some people I guess consider this a prep song but I guess there's some prep in me and I love it. ♥

Boulevard of Broken Dreams, by Green Day: There was a time when my parents were considering moving across the country and this song always made me feel better about it.
Vienna, by The Fray: When I was reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows I thought Harry was going to die and I listened to that song and now I connect that to a lot of good things, idk.

Non Ev- really nothing as beautiful as Ev! Well classical then- I really like... what was it I haven't heard it in forever.... Bach's Brandenburg(sp?) concerto no. 5 (i think it's 5 ) I've liked that forever-

^^ You like Cursum Perficio, too?! That's one of my favorite songs from Enya! It always gives me chills. And also, I find her song Boadicea (from the albums Celts and Paint the Sky with Stars) to be the most tranquilizingly beautiful thing I've ever heard. I listen to it every night in bed, and it puts me straight to sleep before it's even over!
