My favorite is ABH, and TOD, I didn't like Fallen's because it was just Amy's face, and nothing else. It was way to boring.

My fave cover is definately Fallen. It's a really strong image, extremely eye catching and I think a good visual representation of the music inside. The TOD cover is very pretty, but it doesn't scream 'rock music' to me.

I also really love the Ev EP and the ABH cover is very lively however for me it doesn't work well in the DVD case format (which is what I've got) so it loses points there.

My fav covers in order of preference:

1. Anywhere But Home - I like how her eye is peaking through the thorns. Love the use of colour here
2. The Open Door - although artistic, there's something lacking here but hey, I still love it! :p
3. Evanescence EP - love the black and white, very simple but gets the message across - very suitable considering its song content
4. CMWYS - one of their better band pics - I like how Amy is placed off-centre compared to BMTL, My Immortal, Going Under and Everybody's Fool
5. Origin - although I think they could've highlighted the red face? a bit more, kinda like one of Da Vinci's sketches...

I'm really not a fan of the Fallen cover even though I love the album. Although it is quite eye-catching and presents a very strong image, it seems to project that it's all about Amy, instead of Evanescence as a whole.

Ummmm wow this is hard but probably The Open Door. I'm ok with Anywhere But Home, but the things that is kinda eh with me about that is that if it didn't have the label "Evanescence" on there, I never would have known it was them. Origin is really cool because it's almost abstract. It doesn't seem like there is any definite pictures, and so you can let your mind wander with what you see. Both Fallen and The Open Door would have been better if it had the whole band on the cover instead of just Amy, but I'm still not complaining. I think she looks absolutely beautiful on The Open Door cover.

Artistically, I think Anywhere But Home and The Open Door have the most unique look. They're gorgeous.

For some reason, the Evanescence EP is one of my favorites. I love black and white images and I like the simplicity of the cover. Fallen also ranks high just because I like the use of vivid color like that. Origin is my least favorite of the albums, I think. Here's my ranking: :)

I had been waiting a long time to see if anyone started a thread about this..or I would have. Hands down.."The Open Door". Beautiful, enchanted, ethereal..the cathedral, the dress, the windows...everything is just breathtaking. Whoever came up with this theme is brilliant. Every detail perfect. It reminds me of the old Goth cathedrals (which it probably is), or a fairy tale. I absolutely adore it, and I couldn't have dreamed it better.


Also love the inside photos. My favorite is the red bedroom..the old wallpaper and bed cover..I love Amy's look. The makeup, the teased hair with ties, and the lace dress. I thought this was a good band photo as well.

The cover of Fallen is my favorite. I love it so much I have a big picture of it hanging on my bedroom wall. I just never get tired of looking at it.

my favoritea are the evanescence ep with angel of grief statue, its very beautiful, then comes the open door for obvious reasons haha, its just amazing!!!
fallen and origin are awesome too (cant decide whish one is better)
