I'm getting there pretty early so it should be okay, I'm going with my older sister, one of my best friends, her cousin and her friend, lol, my friend and me are pretty small (she's 5'2 and I'm 5'4) but thats even better cos then we can just squeeze between people's legs to get closer to the front, mwahahah! lol

WiltingRose

Being small totally rocks at concerts, being 5'3, I always manage to slip in between people to get to the front. :D

I'll be there!
Don't know exactly what time I'm getting there though. If I go early, I might have to disappear for a few hours in the afternoon, or I could just come in the afternoon. I guess it'll just depend on my mood and the weather.

My skirt is very nearly finished now (yay) so next week I should be able to post a pic of it somewhere to let you guys see ;)

Not sure what time I'm getting there yet, heh I may have to get home for work at 8am the next day, so that'd be MAD.. but ultimately worth it. xD

I've actually booked a week off work for this gig... I must be mad, I've booked from the 17th - 23rd off work...that's probably nuts, but I intend on being in the hairdresser's most of the day on the 17th....& then I'm going by train to London .... even if I pass my test on tuesday I think I seriously want to take the train...I don't fancy driving around central London...*shudders at the thought*
Although....well...I'll see nearer the time, I'm so excited to be going at all!!!
*ahem* you may wish to check out my arts & crafts thread on here somewhere, it's got a couple of pictures of my very nearly finished skirt I've been making for the ev concert....well, I say pictures, the pictures are of the patterning I designed on the side panels, the front & Back panels are plain black velvet at the moment, although I am considering designing something on them, I'm not totally sure yet...

Booked Mon / Tues off work and staying in hotel over night so I don't have to rush for trains. Was sooo close to going on to Manchester but just don't have enough leave. Got my tickets on the Wednesday pre pre sales day so have second row center circle seats. Did the mosh pit thing when I was younger (bruises and all) Gotta sneak a camera in as it's a great view from where I will be!

No idea never been either. I'd also like to know

Princess_Diane
10-16-2006, 07:13 AM
The venue is really good actually no matter where you stand you have a good view due to the floor, so small people dont be upset if your not at the front. :p

The queuing system is a buggar though the last time I was there (Nightwish) at about 6pm they hurdled everyone together (not good for claustophobic people) and then when the doors opened there were 2 doors that were opened so you have to make sure that you are quick and all when they do open the doors because they were slow at letting me in last time even though I was at the front. wollys.

WiltingRose
10-16-2006, 10:22 AM
When I was there in June, the queing was great!
I was seeing Tool, so it might be a bit different as that band are v. strict on cameras, but they seperated everyone into two lines (people with bags and people with nothing) and we were inside at about 6:30 though the ticket said 7, which was fairly good since they'd only started letting people in at about 6:20. We were fairly back in the que but were right at the front.

Alesurya
10-16-2006, 10:50 AM
Sounds like they've learnt from the bajillion complaints they've had about the dangers of their queing system.

The venue is very good. The only thing is that if the band aren't very good at using stage space the show is rather dull as the stage is HUGE and if people just stay in the same place it can be dull for those directly in front of them. I doubt this'll be a problem for Ev though.

Capacity is about 5000. There's a cloakroom on your left as you go on. If you're seated there's a bar area upstairs in the hall and if you're in the stalls there's bars at the back. Merch stall is in the middle as you go in. If you're seated, I'd advise going there in between bands or at the beginning, because there's always a rush at the end.

WiltingRose
10-16-2006, 10:59 AM
I still need to find and buy the shirt I'm planning to wear to the gig.
Me being different, I'm looking for a crazy colored t-shirt with something funky on it. Basically a non-black shirt as theres soooo much black-wearing people at these concerts! So I want to be different :p

Alesurya
10-16-2006, 11:05 AM
I don't get this planning what to wear all this time WAY in advance.

I'll just be wearing whatever isn't in the wash and is warm enough for the day. Actually that's a point, don't forget that it's going to be november and therefore probably raining. (i.e. just a strap top might be a bad idea, lol) :p

WiltingRose
10-16-2006, 12:49 PM
Thats usually what I do, but I figured this would be a good excuse to buy a new shirt! :D

Princess_Diane

Alesurya
10-17-2006, 01:02 PM
How many mine Amy lees are you guessing will be there?

Okay so... 5000 people.

- approx 2500 males
- approx 300 parents, who would look VERY strange if they were dressed up as Amy Lee
- approx 1000 people who know that fairy wings/OTT stage style costume isn't appropriate if your standing sandwiched between another 2000 people
- approx 500 who just don't want to be mini-Amy-Lees

That leaves us with... about 700 mini Amy Lee's.

Okay so maybe that's a slight over estimate, maybe it'd be a good timekiller in the queue to have a little counter and see how many you can spot.

I have WAY too much time on my hands.

Princess_Diane
10-17-2006, 01:04 PM
If there are so many mini Amy Lee's there I will go around every single one of them and stick a "stalker" sticker on their back and pull their hair out. Yesh. Amy Lee lookalikes scare me, actually I should change that to Amy Lee wannabes.

WiltingRose
10-17-2006, 01:08 PM
I love people-spotting while waiting in lines at concerts!
Usually we just do the "sad-emo-loser" types but I think this will be so much more fun! :p

Alesurya
10-17-2006, 01:12 PM
Actually that's point, I probably should have taken away an extra 100 or so 'sad-emo-loser types' although I'm sure a lot of them will dress to merge in to the mini-Amy category anyway. :p

Yemaya
10-17-2006, 02:22 PM
hmm.....Well....I was wearing my corset & skirt & under shirt & I've got black hair....but in all honesty I've had my corset since before getting really really really into Ev....& it's my style, I love what I wear, because it's how I feel on the inside, outside, this maybe similar to something Amy might wear, but I'd not class myself as a 'mini Amy Lee' ....I don't get to wear my 'cool stuff' very often, not really appropriate, but I sure as hell am going to wear it to the ev concert whether or not you think I'm looking like a mini Amy Lee or not.

I'd just bear that in mind, before automatically labelling everyone as mini Amy Lee's...some people like me, just might like that particular style of dress....obviously, if people come in in wings & stuff...well that's different, but I wouldn't automatically label everyone who even remotely looks like amy as a 'mini Amy Lee'...

I'm not trying to create drama, I'm just not wanting Di to pull out my hair....:( for mistaking me for a mini Amy Lee....I will admit that once upon a star I wanted to be like Amy, & I'd still like to be as well loved as she is & I'd kill to look as good as she does (well not literally) but ultimatly I'm me, so....

well, if you can't tell I'm having a bad day, so cut me a little slack if you would & please don't take any of this post the wrong way...I love ev, I'm looking forward to meeting you all at the concert & I'm looking forward to having the freedom to be me without ridicule...

Hope you're all ok.

WiltingRose
10-18-2006, 10:04 AM
Its fine! I realise at least, that there will be people who dressed like that other than to be 'mini-Amys'. I was more referering to the 12 year olds with fairy wings and bad eyeliner who's Moms are with them :p

Didn't mean for my posts to come across as I was labeling everyone who dressed like that as 'wanna-be's' Sorry!!

silent_eyes
10-18-2006, 10:14 AM
My plan was to go round asking them for there autographs.

And YEMAYA dont worry, its pretty obvious who wears that kinda thing because they want to be amy or just because its what they like!
i have black hair and will also be wearing a corset top etc.

Princess_Diane

Princess Di, you sneaked in & out of here like a ghost, I was hoping to catch you.

Just to re-iterate I was having a VERY bad day yesterday, but I'm feeling a bit better today, so I'm more or less back to normal ;)

I worry about things in the extreme's when I'm stressed out, so as long as I'm ok with everyone & no-one's going to beat me up :p I'm alright.

Bought some fantastic sparkly things for my hair for the concert today..W00t they're like little crystal snowflakes on springs that wind into the hair...I'm so excited about this now :)

Can't wait to meet you all :)

GothicBarbie
10-18-2006, 04:34 PM
eeee im so excited!! and dont worry i'll probably get mistaken for an amy wannabee myself which is really rather funny as i cannot help how i look hehe but i take it as a compliment when ppl say i look like her.. so should you ;)

Phoenix Fires
10-18-2006, 04:37 PM
It's always obvious who the wannabes are, you're right Di. But if they want to be wannabes then let them, who are they harming after all? They don't bother me :p besides, this Amy look's pretty cool and I don't mind seeing it, it's so much better than Britney wannabes after all :D

Last time I saw Ev though, I was wearing green cargo pants and a black spaghetti strap top. It seemed to me like everyone else was dressed completely in black. Pretty cool actually :D

I'll be wearing something similar this time, but a t-shirt instead 'cause it's November, not May this time :p

I can't wait to meet some of you!! I'll have to take a walk up and down the queue to meet people!

GothicBarbie
10-18-2006, 04:48 PM
a t shirt???????????? your gonna freeze!!!

Alesurya
10-19-2006, 06:19 AM
That's what I was thinking.

I will at LEAST have a t-shirt with either another shirt and a coat or a hoodie.
Yes, it will be boiling inside but it'll be freezing outside. Especially just after the gig, when you're soaking in other peoples sweat and you go outside and hit the cold and the wind.

Princess_Diane
10-19-2006, 07:14 AM
Right let me get one thing straight, did people really think I was being honest when I said I would pull their hair out!? I wouldnt actually do it but think it :p

I will be wearing a T-shirt and a thin jacket thing, I can take the cold, if you tend to bounce up and down a little bit it warms you up for some reason. :D

Alesurya
10-19-2006, 11:51 AM
In my head, I could completely see you doing it :p

However, really, I'm fairly sure you wouldn't be that mean.

You'll never believe this
My friend just got off the phone with Kerrang and
WE FREAKING WON BACKSTAGE PASSES!!!!!!
If you remember, there was a compitition a couple weeks back to win tickets and backstage passes to the concert! The woman says she'll phone back nearer to the time to confirm what type of tickets they are, like guest passes or whatever

I'm seriously in shock right now. This is amazing and my face is just like

Bambi
10-20-2006, 12:01 PM
Congrats Wiltingrose :D

So, what exactly qualifies for being a mini amy lee? I mean, I sure as hell don't want the piss taken out of me. I have black hair that's down to my bum. But I've had it since before i knew Ev existed. I mean what can I do, wear a sign around my neck proving that? As for what Im wearing to the gig, i have a black corset that I brought specially and also a skirt that just happens to be almost exactly the same as the one amy wears in teh ABH dvd.
Sorry for the rant but I just hate being called an amy wanabe etc. One of my friends totally takes the piss out of me cause he swears I look the way I do to copy her. I said I'd bought a black corset for the gig and he said 'oh to be like amy?' grr.

Anyway deep breaths.... it's quite funny actually cause as I'm writing this Im wearing pale blue jeans and a white jumper lol.

WiltingRose
10-20-2006, 12:03 PM
I find it really to tell whos trying to copy Amy and whos not, myself. I mean, theres a sort of...look about the people who already dress like that. Also the 'mini-amy's' tend to be the ones majorly freaking out ! :p

Yemaya
10-20-2006, 12:43 PM

Good to see that I am not the only one counting on finger and toes towards the big day at the "end" of next month.

Still missing accomedations..... and plane-tickets... was hoping to score some cheap ones with Ryan-air.. but... *sigh*

Wonder if I could bring a big duffle bag to the show and steal off with Amy...... ;)

Well.... YES!! :)

They didn't come to Scandinavia... (Norway).. so I took the second best thing. Since I speak the language in Britain ;)

Saw them in St Louis in 2004... that was even longer, altough that was more of a bonus as I had planned my US vacation for some time, and the friends I visited asked what I wished to do... and for some "odd" reason.. "See Evanescence LIVE" was one of my requests :).

Anyway back on topic it has been confirmed that Revelation Theory are going to be supporting Ev. Apparantly Ev like them that much that they decided to take them on the rest of the tour.

Two words I have to describe Revelation Theory = F**king awesome. I am listening to them now and I am falling in love with them.

Yeah, it's always good to get know a support band before the show, so that you can actually enjoy the support act, rather than just wishing they were over and it was your all-time favourite band on stage.

Rev Theory are sounding pretty good though, I have to say. I think they'll appeal to alot of tastes too.

Are lots of you planning on waiting around after to meet the guys? I want to, and usually do after concerts - but waiting at the Hammersmith's never the best. I hear the wait's about 1 1/2 hours too.

I will be waiting around after the gig I always do anyway just in case I miss anything :p 1 to 1/2 hours is nothing compared to some of the bands they take forever to come out. I just guess it depends on how committed you are to meeting them.

Does anyone have any idea on how much the merch is going to cost? 'Cos going by the prices from the website (even though its in dollars) I'll need to start saving up now... :p

Hammersmith usually has the same price no matter what the band is (be warned this is NOT cheap)

About £45 for a hoodie
About £18 for a t-shirt
About £15 for a skinny t-shirt
About £22 for a long-sleeve shirt.

And it's unlikely they'll charge more than a fiver under or over.

Of course outisde for the unofficial stuff you're looking more at around £10 for a t-shirt and £15-20 for a hoodie.

Anyway... ooooo, Kirsty's coming! I haven't seen you in AGES! As for hanging round outside, I'll wait and see. I've got no problem about getting home (gotta love those night buses) , but if it's really cold I think I'd probably prefer my nice warm bed.

I am probably going to travel mid morning or so around 10 or 11 I dont want to be overly tired for the Manchester gig tbh. It doesnt matter to me what time I get there really because I'm on the guestlist at Manchester, but I know I am travelling down with some people so if they want to go early I will be doing. Plus there is a pub nearby which we are planning on going in and if Tim comes in the drinks are on him. haha.

Well, my brother's told me today that I can't stay at his place for the London gig, So this means I can't go to the gig in London :'( I'm really upset about this...I've been looking forward to this for months! I justcan't believe things have so easily fallen apart.

My ticket's now on ebay because I need to make up the cost of ticket & travel as I've just discovered my travel tickets to & from London are non-refundable. :(

I feel sick that I can't go because I've got no-where to stay.

Alesurya
10-30-2006, 11:32 AM
Hmm.... my guess will be that you'll find out the day before.

Then they'll call you again on the day and change it all over again.

I hate things where the people organising it don't even know what's going on. I have very little trust in that sort of thing. You'd have thought they'd have actually bothered making sure they knew those details before opening the competition.

EDIT: Yemaya: There's a hostel in Oxford Street which you might be able to get a night in. It'd be easy to get to and probably fairly cheap.

Normally yes unless they are professional cameras.
But you have to be careful because sometimes if a gig is being filmed or a band is a bit unfriendly towards cameras they will send you to the back if they see you taking photos.

I'm pretty sure Muse will finish off their tour like they did last time, back in the UK. So you probably will get another chance to see them, I caught them on one of their earls court dates at the very end of the tour when I saw them.

Don't let it get in the way of enjoying Evanescence, or you might aswel sell your ticket to someone who'd die to see them! Evanescence put on an excellent live show, so it'll be worth it, think of it that way. I'm almost certain there will be another chance to see Muse so don't let it destroy you. ;)

Heh, I'd probably join you but I think I'd get some strange looks if I left my house as early as 6.30am. That and you think I'm paying for a peak time travelcard? Pfffft. Like I'm going to pay a whole £3 more to do the same journey I could do at 9.30am for less. :p

I'm quite worried by all this talk of bribey and stuff going on... :p
Just promise if I end up behind you guys that your not all 6 foot tall men, I always end up behind the tall people!

ps - totally agree on the evthreads line of people at the front!

Princess_Diane
11-04-2006, 04:06 AM
I am 5ft so if lots of people are bigger than me then there is no way that I will be able to see thats why I need to be at the front barrier. You will be able to see trust me from what I can remember the front line is really big anyway so you wont have a problem. We will invade everyone thats not here put itching powder on them just so that they are too busy itching and we can overtake them. :p Gawd I am not so mean.

WiltingRose
11-04-2006, 04:13 AM
My trick is to stand behind two people then every time one of them moves, subtly push them over a bit till I get to the front. Works every time!

Around 4-ish hopefully, but as it stands at the moment, I have no idea if I have actual tickets or am on the guestlist, so who knows?

Alesurya
11-04-2006, 06:00 AM
Hehe, if someone were to go through this thread randomly they'd probably think half of us were evil.

Btw, IF I am in a good mood, and you are a really tiny person behind me, I might at some point during ev's set let you move in front of me, because when I'm in a good mood I am nice, like that. Beaing in mind I'm 5'5.

But also be warned that if you happen to be the ******* behind me who thinks my shoulder is their arm rest or keeps trying to shove me out the way, you WILL be going home with heavily bruised shins and bite marks. OK?

Btw, WiltingRose, last time I knew people on the guestlist for Hammersmith, they were only doing Seated tickets so when you get your tickets of whatever is happening make sure they say stalls standing on them.

As for what time I'll be getting there, I'm not exactly sure yet. As long as the trains/tubes don't screw up again (like they did on tuesday when I was trying to get to Lordi :/) I should definately be there before 4. Hopefully I'll get there earlier if I can manage it.

What? Oh man, if they try to give s seated tickets I'm just gonna use my old ones and sell those ones! No way am I having a seated ticket. You've got me all worried now :(

Alesurya
11-04-2006, 06:56 AM
Sorry about having you worried, I just thought I'd make you aware becuase it's happened to friends of mine.

It's probably best to check with whoever ran the competition that the tickets they are giving you are standing tickets and then make sure when you get there that you are given standing places. If they haven't told you anything or they say they don't know, I'd advise holding on to your standing tickets until they give you a clear answer.

I'm so there, me in my corset won't go amiss either I suspect ;)

Evthreads Line YAY!!!!

Just cut the material for my tops today (I've started) am making them with extra layers of fabric to try & keep a bit warm ;) I bought 3 meters of boning for this corset I'm making...I've not got enough eeep! it's only done half of the bones, so I need to buy another 3 meters, might buy 9 meters actually, so I can double up the boning in some places, it's all coming together & is going to look wicked once it's finished I can't wait...the sewing starts tomorrow ;)

Might have enough material left over to make an extra skirt too...we'll see.

Hope you guys are all ok!

tracie's name tag thread in the concert dates forum. its the first post.

dont worry im not a 6foot tall man... im only 5'5". oh and im female. i only know this coz of the b00bs!

just to let you know, unlike alex i am not nice when im in a pit. if anyone tries to push infront of me they shall feel my wrath! :evil:last ev gig i went to the little'uns behind me were getting face whipped by my hair everytime they tried to push forward mwahahahaha

Who said I'm nice when in a pit?
When in a real pit I can really be erm... well, lets just say, I can make grown men avoid me. :p
And when I get an ******* behind me who is actually trying to make the gig unpleasant for anyone who is stood where they want to be stood, I'm not exactly the nicest person back. I'm perfectly fine with being pushed around a bit, and someone's arm getting caught somewhere or whatever, but there's a difference between that and trying to beat the person in front of you out of their place.

I'm just saying when I'm standing in a calm spot where there's a tiny person behind me who I could comfortably see if I stood behind after a while I'll consider switching. Largely because I'd like to think that if ever I was stuck behind someone really tall they'd do the same. Admittedly that rarely happens, but on the occasions it does I'm grateful.

Anyway, back to nice stuff.

I thought I'd mention that at all the of the gigs I've been to in the past month they have refused to allow people to hand their bags or coats under the barrier or put them under the steps. So if you don't want to hold on to them during the gig, cloakroom them.

DarkStar
11-04-2006, 04:03 PM
haha ok you're not nice, you're nastay! ;)

hm well i'll just sling my coat over the barrier, i tend to use it as padding against the bar. surely they cant have a problem with that!

Carmen

I'm only mean to people at gigs when they put their sweaty arm over my face and lean on me like a clothes hanger....that's when the elbowing get off me tends to happen :)
I'm only little so big meany giants can leave me alone. I don't think I'll find anyone as small as me :p

Princess_Diane
11-05-2006, 06:10 AM
The only bad experience at a gig I have ever had at the front was at the Lacuna Coil gig where this dumbass guy constantly elbowed me in the face whilst swinging his hair from left to right I got him back and grabbed hold of his hair so he couldnt move, that is when my evilness comes out.

Apart from that im particularly nice although I can just see it that I will end up with someone next to me like that guy because thats my pure luck. If so I will just get him told off by the security. :p

Just so you guys know....This is what I'll be wearing at the London Ev gig...I've cut the head off as I'm very tired & have a cold & look a bit urgh! So you'll just have to deal with the rest of me;)
Just finished making the lacy undertop today - the corset I didn't make, I'm planning on making one for the Manchester gig, BUT I've run out of boning so I've only cut the Satin so far & cut 1/2 the bones to length (Who'd've thought 3meters wasn't enough!) I'm exhausted!
Will post better / more pictures as & when I get stuff sorted. :)

Me too :( I figured I'd wear a tartan skirt over my jeans to show Ev how far I've travelled to see them :p I never really dress up for gigs because I'm so clumsy that something gets ripped or I lose something!

The travel-lodge we're staying at is right next to the Hammersmith so we'll be there in the morning, checking out the queue and stuff... after food though!

Awww, don't be mad at me, I just don't get out very much (well no-where I could wear that anyway) & I've spent so much time working on this stuff I'm going to wear it now, I've been planning this outfit for MONTHS now. It's a real accomplishment for me, at school I hated textiles & art & I can't draw at all, the skirt & undertop have been made purely by my own mind if you like, no pattern, just me a top I already had & a pair of scissors & a sewing machine.

Alesurya
11-05-2006, 01:32 PM
I remember the first couple of gigs I went to, I actually planned and thought about what I was going to wear.

Now I just go with one basic rule: wear trousers with pockets I can seal in some way. Mainly because I can get a bit hyperactive and jump around a fair bit and the last thing I want is to find that my phone or money or travelcard fell out of my trousers and I've lost them.

I usually go for long socks too as shin protection but that just depends on whether I can find a pair in the morning.

So yeah, you'll be seeing me in trousers...
Chances are though I'll have my ev-hoodie and a coat too.

DarkStar

nice out fit! ive not decided on my outfits yet really. i know im wearing my fluffy leg warmers coz they're warm, and i'll be wearing jeans. but i may wear a skirt over them. not sure what top yet. i have one in mind for one of the gigs tho... my pirate vs ninja top :P but i think that might be one for th manc gig. i want to dress up more for the london one me thinks. ive seen a cute corset i might get and its v cheap! just trainers on my feet. and a hat scarf gloves and ear muffs too.

ok hannah bambi i shall add you. i dont think youre on the list either lorelei.

soulaxe - i dont have an ev tattoo yet but i really want one. i was a bit dubious bout getting band tatts, but i think the ev symbol can look like just a tribal design.

yeh ian tried it at the after forever gig. it wasn't a signature tho it was the AF symbol. he got sander to draw it on him but the tattooist wouldn't do it. also on a interview i saw amy sign some girls back and the girl said she was going to get it tattooed. amy said "omg thats crazy! i would have done it better if i knew!"

Yemaya
11-05-2006, 02:40 PM
No no no! You've got it allllllllll wrong, You want Amy to sign you, then whilst the ink's still wet you want to lay a sheet of tracing paper over it, then you want to get a friend to trace the signature onto the paper, THEN when you've washed the ink off, you want to take it to the tatoo parlour say "Tatoo that on my ass!" (Not literally lol) & Ta da!!!! one Amy Lee Signature Tatoo, I'd do it if I had the guts to get a tatoo done, but I'm chicken **** about those sorts of things.

Now you mention it's only two weeks away I sense my teeny bopper over excited fan-ness trying to creep out!
I'm not sure what I'm going to wear yet. I may result into the trousers with a skirt over the top what with how cold it's going to be. I really don't want to have to wear that as it will be so common but I'd rather be warm than shivering like a chihuahua with no fur! Top wise I think I shall go for my smart white top with a black corset over the top. You won't miss me I'm sure.
I'll take some vodka to keep me warm if I have too!

DarkStar
11-06-2006, 11:53 AM

Whiskey > Vodka anyday.

But then being denied entry due to excessive alcomahol consumption would suck, so I'll just stick with dressing warm enough in the first place. Hehe, kind of reminds me at LC when it was so cold I couldn't feel the boiling hot chocolate spilling all over my hand.

Which leads me to...

Any other coffee shop > Starbucks. :p

Pah.
Kerrang no longer had anything to do with our competition anymore, its all the record company...
and they were meant to phone us and haven't.
Why?!?
At this rate we'll never get this sorted out before the concert! :(

Carmen
11-07-2006, 11:02 AM
What competition are you talking about exactly WiltingRose? Did you win tickets for this show from the Kerrang magazine/website?

WiltingRose
11-07-2006, 12:22 PM
Yup, it was the one from the tv channel. The prize was tickets and "a chance to meet the band backstage after the show" which means, I think, that we get meet and greet passes. I was just half-ranting on the unhelpfulness from kerrangs part.

I can't remember, how many people does hammersmith hold? Less than two weeks now :D

I really should consider gloves but then I always worry I'm going to lose them. I guess my hands will just be hiding up my sleeves.

WiltingRose
11-08-2006, 10:32 AM
I think I'm preparing myself to freeze, I don't really want to have to check anything in the cloakroom and I know I'd just lose gloves and scarfs and stuff.

Yeah, someone should totally bring one of those giant stereo things!! :p

Yemaya
11-08-2006, 12:17 PM
I have a pair of black chenille gloves which I shall probably be wearing.

As for coats, well I don't have a coat exactly for this, but a very long thick black cardigan thingy so I shall probably wear that.

i have my mp3 that comes everywhere with me, but I think bringing a stereo might be a bit much, but I'm great at organising choirs etc :p

Oh yes, singing is a favourite past time, You'll regret mentioning it after listening to me for 12 hours!!!!! :p

Any volunteers for Rocky or Terry and whatever Lorelei is then the other one is up for grabs! :p

I think we should all just be Amy and try and sound better than her, but like that would ever happen! :p

if we do this we have to do it properly. we need some guitar substitutes, some drums and microphones. hmmm well anything hitable can be drums, we could get inflatable guitars... to take the place of sheeeeep! omg thats a great idea kirsty well done!

We have to get the sheep going again! :p That was fun last night make sure to sign its arse and hopefully it doesnt get punctured this time!

If someone was ill I am sure the show tonight would have been cancelled tbh. *fingers crossed its just the venue*

Could be but then they would have cancelled the next 3 shows which are to take place in Paris, Madrid and Barcelona.

Hopefully when the tour is over so that Mr Lecompt can be with his wife when he/she arrives. :p Eek I hope its just something to do with the venue. It does seem a bit strange that its cancelled a few days before really.

*Shhh* We want the little lecompt to stay nice & snuggly in there until the tour is over ;)
I'd be WAAAAAAAY upset if baby Lecompt made an early appearance cancelling the tour, not because I'd be mad at ev, but I've spent out near enough £100 on travel etc. & I wouldn't be able to get any of it refunded. :o & I seriously cannot afford to 'lose' £100 like that, as I'm sure others would be upset at the thought of that. Plus, we'd have to cancel our girly 'weekend' >:(

Mini LeCompt- can't wait! :p Hope the band are alright though... after hearing about the cancellation, I'm a little edgy. But think positive!

I have an idea, we can all have split personalities ;) We should all be Amy +1. That way we can all sing and play our super expensive instruments too! I like the "Write a message on the sheep" idea to give to the band btw.

I was planning on buying a blow up sheep because the NW gig gave me the idea! :p As long as I get to write on its arse I will be happy. :p

So whats our setlist:

BMTL
My Immortal
CMWYS....

Am I just being abnormal now?

You know...I wonder if anyone's ever asked to sign Amy, rather than be signed by her (Except wind-up of course - but that's not the kinda signing I meant)

What do people think on this?

(Besides Lorelei, who said everyone has to *pretend* to have split personalities?!?! I don't know what you mean I AM Amy.....& John, & Tim, & rocky.....LOL)
