Yeah I know they did, but this is one of those things where I don't really believe the fans have 100% of the imput. Band such as the killers get their asses kissed like royalty on MTV. That's the only reason I doubt Ev winning the award. But I could be wrong and I hope I am! :p

Best rock was just on a second ago.

The killeres just won cuz the nomination system was stupid ( vote again ).
The "the killeres fan's had more patience and they voted a lot, they didn't sleep, they just pushed the button.
If the nomunation system was like always (vote just once) Evanescence would be the winner for sure.

I can't believe that The Killers won over Evanescence!
They think they're sooo cool because they got Tim Burton to direct they're new video...so damn lucky.

Why can't Tim Burton direct an Evanescence video?

Anyway, I never watched the show because I couldn't spend that length of time watching and listening to that bloody Justin Timberlake! That guy really gets on my nerves! I would have also of ended up screaming at the TV with anger when The Killers won anyway.

I can't BELIEVE The Killers won!!! They're not bad, but they're not better than Ev. Although I knew, when they mentioned the nominees that they were going to win. Am I the only one who thinks they stole a sound from Coldplay's- Talk in one of their songs, the one they performed on stage?!

The awards were soooo boring, so predictable, and I'm getting so tired of Justin!!

I love Ev but it's not that hard to believe The Killers won.

I understand Ev has a larger fanbase, but The Killers do have quite the bit of fans. It's always going to be a tossup between the two.

I knew that they aren't going to win since after MTV announce who will be there and there's no mention of Evanescence or any other artist in the category except the Killers, even if Muse was up for the award their name weren't even on the press. Since The Killers will perform again on the Billboard I bet they will win the award again if they are nominated, hopefully the Grammy's will be more in favor of Ev.

By that account, 50 Cent would have beaten Evanescence almost three years ago for the Grammy.

Which is why awards should always somehow balance the two.

I'm not thoroughly upset that the Killers beat Ev because I'm confident Ev will win out in the long run.

You know, I would have thought the Chilli Peppers would have been Ev's main competition for that award with the Killers a distant third.

But remember, we're talking about MTV here. 50 cent won at all these type of awards shows whenever he was nominated along with Evanescence. And those are the type that cater to the lowest common denominator in the music industry. But Ev won the one that really mattered at the Grammy's. Those are the award shows I'm looking foward to.

Lasers effin rocked didn't they? Anyway, the killers are a great band, imo. Hot Fuss is a brill album, I'm happy for them. They also sang the praises of Muse, so I just love the even more.

Anyone watch the backstage stuff with Juliette and the Licks? When Muse were there and they asked the ONE fan question, they asked mine. I had to go and make myself a cup of tea to go and calm down. It was definately mine, though, because some bloke said "The Robot needs to know" which was my username.
