Ya but thats nothing like the real music. No good. You have to keep looking for the Karaoke versions. There are sum really GOOD one but there are a ton of really BAD ones out there. Take your time, have patience, and have hope.

Bleh...those karaoke version's aren't the best...
I actually bought the cd that they were on (I saw Ev karaoke, and I went wild), I listened to it and it definitely sucked.
The karaoke on iTunes are so much better (even though they don't have Tourniquet, Breathe No More, or Farther Away) but they do have the band version of My Immortal.

The only official Instrumentals there are, are "Everybody's Fool" and "Going Under."

The others will most likely be poor fan made instrumentals with a really poor quality.

That's just the way the songs are when u do a vocal cut. If u notice, some songs leave the backing vocals on there like CMWYS but others are quite good considering their quality when u compare them with your average audio editing program that does a vocal cut.

If they were taken from FMB, they're most likely the one's that 'Basi' made. They're just a vocal cut. You can still hear the vocals. You're better off just halfway unpluging your head phones on your CD player (walkman) and listening to it that way.

That for one thing, and that being said, I wouldn't mind finding instrumentals of TOD though even if they're unofficial. However, the ones posted earlier, or at least most of them, sadly suck.. :(

I hate the ones with the vocals removed...it always ends up sounding like crap. On the other hand, a couple of the instrumentals further back in the thread are pretty good. Good Enough is nice, but the tempo is just slightly off...Thoughtless is pretty good, and TLSIWOY and Lithium are awesome. Thanks for posting them :)

I donno. I can't remember why I asked that. I though you were able to do that with Audacity, but you can't. You can with virtual DJ, I think.

You can remove vocals with Audacity. Sometimes they turn out pretty crappy, though. I posted this question on FMB a couple of months ago, and they responded with pictures on there. If you aren't a member, I'll try and summarize it the best I can.

Okay, first you import the song to Audacity. Highlight the bottom half of the track. Select 'effect' and choose 'invert'. Once that is done, go to the little menu thingy on the left side of the track that has the name of the song and buttons like 'mute' and 'solo' on it. Click on the name of the song and select 'mono'. Do this to both tracks. Then you're done! I hope my instructions made sense. I hope I helped you out a bit. ;)

That's working for me. Maybe something was (or still is) wrong with the website or something?

I just tried downloading 'Haunted (Guitar Instrumental)', the file is 3,8MB and it said I would take 3 hours 59 minutes (or something) to download... * sigh *.
I'm not waiting that long... (I would love to wait that long, but don't have so much time)

But there are some fan made ones earlier in the thread :)

I remember from, I think, two years ago on a message board someone found an instrumental of Whisper (Fallen) that was AMAZING! The choir was so clear and at the end it only had females singing "servatis a periculum" over and over. Since then I heard about The Cough, and maybe thought I'd hear it better in an instrumental. Go to YouTube, and do a user search for EternalFlame13. She has almost every TOD song (except for Good Enough, but she's working on it) instrumentalized. Some of them sound like polyphonic ringtones, but they are pretty damn awesome. go check em out!
