Hey guys,I just watched after midnight the unauthorised ev documentry(My friend bought it for me on holiday) and it was amazing it had lots of interviews with amys dad and people from little rock and it focused on the bands early years like when they played there first gig and it lead's right up to when they first started touring and ben walked out.I was highly impressed after watching it.It was really insightful and I learned some stuff I never knew about the band the whole documentry is presented by amy's father.I would highly recommend it to you guys.

I found the background music quite amusing, but the fact that David Hodges was not mentioned at all was, to me, a big hole in the "story"

My mom saw it at some store I forget the name of. She was like" I found an Evanescence cd you don't have. I don't remember the name of it though." I'm like what? So then I figure out it's after midnight. I was thinking about getting it.

I watched this awhile ago...I barely remember it. It's not as good as I thought it would be, but some of the interviews were cool, and the background music was pretty cool as well.

I got this last year as a gift from my sister. it took them 6 months to order it in!!!! hahaha. I donno where they got it from. but yeah. it's really good. I've only watched it a few times. I find the background music anoying to be honest, only because I want to hear Evanescence Music!!! but obviously for copy right laws, they can't. but it's still really good. :)

I've had it for just over three years now, it was a good DVD. Loads better than 'Out of Little Rock' and it was nice to see them chatting to people who actually knew the band.

I brought this for $15 AU a year back now. I think its a good dvd for fans. Not really for just anyone coz they'd get really bored. Its pretty much interviews with the people from little rock and amys dad talkin bout how the band evolved and takes you into some of the places ev practiced and performed in the early days like Vino's. Talks alot about origin and the eps and stuff. But yeah, its worth a buy.

i had this DVD a few years back, not long after the band released BMTL. i didnt think that much of it to be honest. its not an official ev merchandise. im not gona say whether to buy it or not because of what i think of it, i'll let you make up your own minds! but if you want it as part of your DVD/CD collection, then get it!~

after midnight was released within the same year as Anywhere But Home....i'ma almost 100% positive because i thought the official dvd was going to be after midnight. you must be thinking of something else:confused:

I got this DVD today as a very late birthday present! A friend of mine, who's also an Ev fan ordered it for me and didn't do so for her!!! So sweet! But yeah, I've watched it today and I like it very much, it's very interesting... Though I have just a few things to point out...

Completely agree here!! I was really disappointed to not hear about David! He was a big part of what Evanescence became with Origin, imo... I was even expecting him to give an interview as well... The only time I listened to "David" was when someone said "Ben and David are the men" or something around those lines, after Ben left. Someone who doesn't know the story probably won't even hear the name and if they do they'll be like "oh just a random guy from Little Rock" or something... :|

The other thing is the quiz... It puts "Restless" as an Evanescence song... -_- Not nice. And is also ambiguous about what they mean with "album"... They consider The Evanescence EP an album, but that's something about interpretation, I guess...

Last thing: at that point, if Evanescence had just released Fallen, ABH wasn't out yet, how can they say they released THREE albums with Wind-Up? x)

I don't think it has any interviews with actual band members...although the last time I saw it was so long ago I can't remember. The only part I thought was worthwhile was the progressive interview with Amy's father.

Aside from that, I don't recommend buying it.

I have it and I found it really interesting. You have to be aware that the band is not gonna be talking, just some random interviews. It´s very cool for the fans who would like to know more about their development as band, their professionalism, and so. For me it was worthwhile. :)

yes!! i saw it! and is very awesome!!! and did you see when amy's father says that amy was ben's girldfriend on the highschool? that's great!! i've always thought that they were in love!! hehe! well i don't know what to say! this is a great dvd! and it shows all they have fought to be where they are today! when i saw this dvd i've cried so much! i was very touched!
