2 more weeks before the concert! I am excited and this is my first time seeing Evanescence live. By the way, this is xfallingstarx0x from evboard and my name is Monica to those who do not know me.

Are we all meeting up together in line at the concert or seperete? I remember a discussion on the evboard about us as a group meeting up in line and saving spots for those who cannot make it early. I don't know how this is going to work.

because i don't think it's fair to have a **** load of cutting, I'm only saving spots for a few of my friends. If you have GA tickets I suggest getting there as early as you can unless you know you have a friend saving a spot for you.
You're more than welcome to come hang out with us in line though, but don't count on having your spot saved bc it's just not fair to the other people who show up early to suddenly be 10 people farther back.

Yeah I agree with you, and I hate cuts too. It's okay if there is only a couple people in line and if their okay with it, but if theres a lot of people, then no. I have experienced this at a lot of concerts with people saving spots for like 10-15 people. It's crazy. I hope to get there as early as I can depending what time the softball game is and if I decide to go to the game or not. A good thing is that the game is at home in Torrance, so if the game is over at 1pm, then I'll be at the concert at around 3pm or 4pm (hopefully the line is not that long at that time yet)

Ok, so I missed about a total of 8 pages between here and the evboards on these cupcakes.
So far I have the "girly" ones which are strawberry with vanilla frosting, and red-ish sprinkles (the ones that look like sugar crystals) and the "e" cookie on top.
and for the "gawth" ones, it wil be chocolate with chocolate frosting, the "e" cookie on top, and Im not sure on the sprinkle situation on those. Black on dark brown wont really show. Though the little plastic spiders and junk would be cool....but I dont want to make these any more complicated on myself than need be...

Is there going to be a meet and greet at this show? ive been the the wiltern before last halloween, and I remember they are strict about camping outside on their property and waiting after the show to see the band leave to their tour bus, but is there going to be a legit one??

there is a meet and greet the EvClub is having. supposedly only five people will be picked. but chances are the KROQ will be giving away passes to see them before as well.
But last time ev was there, people waited until 2am around the back until amy came out, and it wasn't a big deal. they tell people that she's already gone, etc etc that way the crowd dies down.

Freakin awesome! I searched REALLY hard and found one that someone was selling for 99 bucks plus 15 dollars shipping. And i didnt have to wait for a bid to end i was able to purchase it right away. im giving it to a friend of Erin's. When I found out my friend couldn't go (I had bought both tickets) i made a post on evboard and on myspace about it and Erin was the first one who asked me about it. Cavercheer wanted it but bc she's pregnant, a floor ticket wasn't really the best thing for her. I don't feel right charging a bunch of money to friends...even friends of friends. I'm selling it to her for $40 which is about what I paid for it after all the service charges.

Did you check the ratings of the person you bought your tickets from to make sure all the comments are positive or is the person new? Just making sure your safe. If it is someone with a lot of negative comments, that's not good.

yeah they had a 95.9% rating, and most of the 2,000 something comments they had were all good, most people received their ticket fast, etc. ahhhhhhhh im freaking out right now

You do not have to freak out. That rating is really good and sometimes people don't rate high when they don't get something that is used looking perfect like they want it (other than tickets). Nothing to be scared about. You will receive your ticket in time. I suggest messaging that person asking when they'll send out your tickets so you know when you'll be getting them and to make sure you get them on the date they say.

I just asked in the other forum about a previous show on what time evanescence came out... before the show - they arrived at round 3pm, but did not sign. after the show - Amy and John came out last at around 12:30-1am. (the fan that answered my question said that she caught the train home at 1:15am and did not look at her watch before then.) So yeah, it would be a long wait after the show to wait for them.

yeaaaah. i realized yesterday that the tickets said 8PM, but i don't know if that's DOORS or SHOWTIME, so that might change things, exceeding them an hour. but if they keep to their usual schedule, then ya, you should be fine. and make sure you don't miss that train. LOL. poor thing.

One thing though - There is no need to wear your name tag when you get inside because you will sweat and be next to somebody closed together. The nametag will get ruined and especially if you have a pin, you do not want it poking you! Ouch!

Do you live near the metro red line? I noticed from your profile your from west hollywood and the metro trains and buses are out there. check http://metro.net from your house to the venue. It is safer if you take the metro there and back instead of riding your motorcycle late at night back home. I am taking the metro there and back home, and for me it's an hour.

i forgot the 'number' code to that, but apparently yeah, that clause goes for a few bands. but i don't see a lot of ev fans who don't wear the shirts, so hey, do what you feel. ;]

You're supposed to wear the shirt from some obscure band that is so hip noone has ever heard of them. My KMDFM shirt probably fits the bill but I'm not wearing it.

As far as the red line goes, I need to ride or drive TO the subway stop somewhere as the closest stop is Hollywood / Highland, which is a hike, so I figure I might as well just ride to the show itself. I'll probably just take the ol' truck and deal with traffic...

yeah i need to print my tag out too , what are you printing yours on? just regular paper? oh yeah and will people get mad if you want to hold a spot in line for just one person? since squishy and i are going by ourselves we want to be able to stick together in line so we wont be all lonely and stuff lol.

Have fun tonight, guys!!! I guarantee that you will all enjoy every minute of the concert. I saw the one in Phoenix last night and it was just unbeatable. I really could not have asked for anything better. Amy's voice was so incredible and just echoed through the whole theatre and the guys were just as amazing, as well. It was just an unforgettable night for me and I'm sure it will be for all of you guys, too.

This is old news. But Will left the band a few months ago in order to pursue other things. Like a stable home life for one.
Tim McCord is the new Bassist. I don't know alot about him tho. He has been touring with them so far the entire time.

omg that concert was THE one. it was the best. a lot better than the 2004 one. gosh i was sooo into it. i loved it. the energy was definitely in the house for sure. i just felt it throughout the concert. amazing show. the guys were great. amy was amazing. ahhh it was just soo awesome

the set list is pretty much the same. it was and awesome setlist, but a little weird. i would have loved if they did "your star" and "cloud nine" but other then that i had an awesome time.
i wish they would have done a set list like this:

except the fact that i had to lesbian girls molesting me. i felt violated in a way haha. throughout the opening act they were just touching my shoulder and grabbing me and i'm like "ok now?"

i managed to sneak in my camera, but i wasn't able to take pictures cuz i was too afraid what the staff security would do. wanna know how i manage to sneak it in?....i had my friend put it in his shoe. i never thought of sneaking in a camera like that way. but i kinda regret of not taking pictures at the end of the show cuz like why would it matter if i get caught and what not. but what ever. regardless of that, it was an amazing show!! soooo many people!

i got all 4 of the guys autographs but i couldnt get Amys because of all those people standing in line whod already gotten her autograph. at the last few minutes of me standing around there the security guy asked me about evanescene and said hed never heard of them before. he saw my cd cover had been signed and was like "oh cool, you got it signed?" i told him "yeah all except for Amys" lol, he tried to talk Rocky into getting her autograph for me but he said it wouldnt happen. oh well, at least he tried, and at least i got to go to the show! i cant wait til theres another Ev concert around here! :D

i cant say too much right now cause i'm brain dead. but that was AMAZING, i was FRONT AND CENTER, so perfect. Additionally, Amy held my b00b shirt in her hands, because i TOOK IT OFF, and Richie brought it into the bus for her to sign:) And all the boys signed my boot. amazing.
