i cant say too much right now cause i'm brain dead. but that was AMAZING, i was FRONT AND CENTER, so perfect. Additionally, Amy held my b00b shirt in her hands, because i TOOK IT OFF, and Richie brought it into the bus for her to sign:) And all the boys signed my boot. amazing.

i got all 4 of the guys autographs but i couldnt get Amys because of all those people standing in line whod already gotten her autograph. at the last few minutes of me standing around there the security guy asked me about evanescene and said hed never heard of them before. he saw my cd cover had been signed and was like "oh cool, you got it signed?" i told him "yeah all except for Amys" lol, he tried to talk Rocky into getting her autograph for me but he said it wouldnt happen. oh well, at least he tried, and at least i got to go to the show! i cant wait til theres another Ev concert around here! :D

yeah i was a little disappointed they didn't do cloud nine, swq or lose control. this is my first ev show and i thought whisper was just soooo awesome. i know its been a closing song before, but it really seemed like the last song moreso than all that i'm living for.oh i liked amy's poofy skirt. i would have liked to have met you guys there:(

I tried getting decent ones with the camera on my phone, but everytime i took a picture it came out as a pink splotch of light with the outline of the band sorta lol.

YA that was a amazing concert and after the show. when the band came out after waiting out side. We got pictures with them and everything even chatted with them. Man are those guys coool, just like hanging with your friends I'll post pics soon.

before the show we met tim and terry. apparently john was out on the other side. after teh show were were standing around waiting, rocky came out, and we got pics and stuff and he said the la cupcakes were the best cupcakes ever!! woot!!. we kept checking the other side, i went over there at one point and saw amy then called everyone to come over. because of all teh people tho i didnt get her autograph. so i went back teh other side and saw amy as she entered the bus. then richie came out and we talked about random stuff, he loved the cupcakes and when i told him i didnt get amys autograph on the cd, he took to her ont eh bus and got it signed for me. :) afterwards all teh guys came out and we hung out with them. so i got everyone to sign my cd and i got pics with everyone and a cool rocky drawing that i will be framing!!!!:)

How far back were you in line? I was near where the cingular store was when security started seperating the lines boy and girl and we got in, so did a lot of people behind us too. I don't understand why guys and girls were seperated in line though.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but I was not sure. I think this is my first GA show seeing guys in the front row and 2nd row. Usually the guys always stand back and let the girls ahead of them. It's all good though. One of the girls I met in line was short (a little bit shorter than me) and she told me that a tall guy would not let her in front of him, so she came over where I was (the shorter people). A lot of guys have girlfriends and of course they wanted to be together and not be seperated. Overall, it was a great show and there were no fights there over spots in the pit.

inside: close to the floor. my friends and i ended up staying on the 2nd level of the floor cause 3 out of 4 of us would be allowed on the main pit floor, so not all of us would have stayed all together.

This was my first Evanescence show too! I was blown away. Amy has a very strong and beautiful voice. She can sing on record and in person. What row were you in?

I tried to get a little closer to see if there was a better view, but I couldn't see well because males are tall, so I stayed back where I was at the whole time in between the girls my height heads. I was able to see fine though. There are a lot of guy fans.

and yeah Ev songs have been stuck in my head all day today too. When I played their cd on my ipod this morning in art class, I got a few chills because once you go to a concert, you could visualize the performance.

I got there at about ten in the morning, but it was way worth it. I got Amy's signature and a picture of Rocky at the end of the show. The funny part was when a group of people and I waited at about four p.m. for the band to come out,before the show, and I saw Terry, Tim, and Rocky and nobody noticed them except maybe two people, one being my self. Anyway Amy never came out and we all went back in line... BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!!

the show was awesome! :) it was worth the extra money i had to pay for tickets...i paid 100 instead of 25 because the show sold out so fast. and i'm so glad i waited 9 hours outside the wiltern to be in the pit. i was one of the first 100! it was soooo great! amy was amazing and i think she looked right at me a few times!
and that outfit she had on....wonderful! only amy could pull something like that off :) and that key necklace was goregous! i want one now! ;)
but the wiltern needs more organization though.....people kept joining their friends at the front of the lines later on in the day....and that wasn't fair to the people who have been waiting sooooo long for the wristbands! when i got there at 10am i was like 20th in line.....and when the doors opened at 7pm i was like 50th. i felt bad for the people behind me who got screwed out of wristbands because of that. i hate to be bitchy but if i waited nearly 10 hours and got screwed because someone let 20 of their friends show up at 6pm i would have been pissed! but luckily it didn't happen! at least not to me! sorry if it happened to anyone!

What I usually do at concerts when that happens - In the pit, I would of pushed in front of those who were not there all day and came at last minute. It works and I don't care if those get mad. People cut, they pay. One person may be okay, but 30 or 40? I don't think so. I got there at 2pm, and I was not that close to the front of the line, so I was not really keeping track.

One thing I dont like about the area is all the smoking that was allowed there. I never saw so many people smoking in my life waiting in line for a concert. I was able to stay away from it and not smell it though which was good. It was mostly all guys who were doing it anyway and they were careless about other people around them. No one complained though because it would of been an argument.

What I usually do at concerts when that happens - In the pit, I would of pushed in front of those who were not there all day and came at last minute. It works and I don't care if those get mad. People cut, they pay. One person may be okay, but 30 or 40? I don't think so. I got there at 2pm, and I was not that close to the front of the line, so I was not really keeping track.


yeah....i got right up to the gate before the stage...where security and amy's bodyguard were. i was so close if amy would have put out her hand i could have touched it! :)
the only bad part was that i was on the right side of the stage and when they wheeled out the grand piano for "lithium," "good enough," and "my immortal," the piano bench was on the left side and i couldn't see amy because i am so short ;(
i got to see her boots though! haha :0

i haven't the time or patience to work out! so sitting in front of a building for almost 10 hours killed me. it wasn't the concert itself....it was the sitting :D
but it was all worth it. i wish i would have stayed an hour more than i did though....because i guess amy came out around midnight and signed autographs and stuff! :mad: i left around 11pm.....i was gonna stay, but i saw at least 100 people waiting for the band to come out and i didn't think i had a chance. and plus i had a 2 hour drive home. sigh. maybe next time!

Oh - I was hardly sitting around waiting in line. I was walking around a lot and standing up most of the time.

Oh and if you go to college - colleges has a fitness center/gym, so you can go in there and workout anytime you want to and you won't get charged.

I could not stay after because the green line runs until around midnight and I had to get home or I would not of been able to get home. If I could stay after I would.

As far as people complaining about tall people, which is more then likely the girls behind me cussing me out for not letting them in front of me. I was there with my two friends at 5am, ready and willing to stand in line all day to make sure I was up front. I called in sick to work to get tickets, and to go to the show.

I told the people behind me that if they let me bend over and not push me into the rail I would try to bend down the whole time but I was pushed the whole time so I had no choice but to stand up straight. I stepped on feet trying to lean down but I wasnt going to push my 425lbs self back on some 85lbs 16yr old. That would have been rude. Well more then blocking that is.

All I can say is sorry, just show up earlier next time to ensure your upfront.

If you were in the pit though, smile, you made it, and you were in the pit to a FREAKING EVANESCENCE SHOW!!!!

That alone is something to celebrate, forget it if you weren't front row. At least you were close enough to recognize the band, which the people who were in back, didnt have the luxury of doing.

The concert was fun and lets keep it that way and not complain so much, were all EvFans here and I cant believe how many people I personally met and treated me like one of their long time friends.

Ive been to many concerts, but never have I met a crowd with so much heart, dedication, and comrodery.

I met 2 short girls (I forgot their name) in line and they were about 5'0 (my height) and they were following a girl that was pushing her way to the front and she was only able to get to 2nd row. however..those 2 couldnt get up front or see, so they came over to where the short people were (they should of gone to the area I was at in the first place because they should of known that everyone in the front row was there early and would not let anyone up front. they were complaining to me and a couple of fans behind me about what happened and that the people were rude for not letting them ahead of them because of a tall guy (I think it was you..the guy that looked like a football player). If someone is tall and cannot see, they should move somewhere else to see, and not complain.. males have rights to be up front just as much as females do. It is all about getting there early.

not sure, but to the person who said "I hope it's not at the wiltern next time" you really ought to think again. The Wiltern is a great venue. There's a lot of room on the floor, plus five levels of it. THey didn't let the people with the photo pass in front of the barricade, they made them stand on the first ramp between the 1st and 2nd levels of floors, which made me incredibly happy bc they didn't block my view.
So what that they didn't let you take your camera in. It didn't stop a lot of people. Do you really think that when they play a huge arena tour, it's going to be any better? I've seen ev at an arena, and while it was amazing bc it was the last show in little rock, it wasn't as nice as seeing them in a smaller venue. When it's smaller, you're more up close and personal and able to feel like you have a stronger connection to the band.
Anyways, I think you should wait and see how you feel about a larger venue before passing judgement.

they haven't stopped touring yet. they just scheduled more dates in canada at the beginning of the year but after that they're going to be in japan I think. Maybe they'll be back in the states around March..not sure yet though.

I admit that I do not know the words to all Evanescence songs. I only listen to a few songs on there and sometimes the album (when I am in my art class). I do not really pay attention to the words that much. Even the last album, I only knew like 5 or 6 when I listen to the songs to sing along to. Um, Im up for a camp out, but Im not sure about how strict they are about that...I mean, this isnt the city street anymore, cause from what I remember, you had to go into Universal City Walk to get to the front entrance...wouldn't that technically be private property?

Well, you know what? Its an indoor venue so all the tickets will have assigned seating...which sucks because its not a guarantee that we will all get to sit together. Larisa and I have been there before for a final fantasy concert/musical thing and I dont remember there being floor spaces...though the interior can be changed around. I dont know...

Okay, well. Im going to the Tenacious D concert tonight so Ill see the layout. It would be awsome to do the pit things, but seats i guess can be good. So do they all do a set cause that sounds more like an Ozzfest or something, so for it to be inside, woah. this will be insteresting.

So okay heres the crazy weird question. If we all just have assigned seats. And its not first come first serve...... Are we all still going to do the hang out thing when the gates to the private property open. Cause IM TOTALY down, im just lost on how this place is.

it was the greatest concert i've seen in a long while......
and i can't wait until they come back! i hope they have a different, maybe longer :), set list the second time around though. and maybe not as much from fallen. don't get me wrong...i love fallen, but i've heard the songs a whole lot! i mean we have all of the songs live from anywhere but home....so i would like to see the open door live! maybe cut it down to one or two old songs and the rest new! that would be neat! i think the only old song from fallen i want to hear is farther away...but i have that on anywhere but home too....so if i don't see it i wont be that upset :)

I have been to a concert at the gibson before. Camping out is not allowed. Everyone is gone when the park and city walk closes. Lining up does not start for the concert (will not let you in line) until around noon. I went there for simple plan.
