The River Line connects Trenton to Camden, and other places in North Jersey. I don't know alot about it, google it up or something. Tickets to the train are fairly cheap, about 1 or 2 dollars or something.

I've been to Tweeter dozens of times, it sucks that theres no floor and only seats. I might take the River Line to Camden and then take a bus from there or something. When to tickets go on sale?

Tweeter Center has a very small pit area. I don't know if they'll use it for this, though, since it's a festival--who would want to stand for 12 hours?

Also, yes Camden is pretty notoriously bad, but the area around the tweeter center is all, rutgers law students and police officers. I've been there a million times, it's not bad.

Bands who play the Tweeter Center generally know they're playing for Philadelphia more than NJ. And bands who come out screaming "HEY NEW JERSEY" usually get a very loud reprimanding from the crowd :)

I went to 3 or 4 Y100 FEZtivals and enjoyed myself evertime. No i wasn't one of those drunk people.
I wish I could go, but $s are not available at this time. And that REALLY sucks.

And yeah, I've been to the Tweeter Center quite a few times. The area immediately surrounding it isn't all that bad and it's fairly easy to get to. The pit area is pretty small too - but it does exist.

Ive been to this place before for a show I had 2nd row pit tickets. There were seats in the pit Im sure thats different for this show though but the stage was extremely close. The buses pull in on the side through a gate so there is a chance to see them before or after if you wait by the gate. You can also see the backstage area from there or a lounge of some sort the buses are out in the open.

Its out in the middle of nowhere though and you have to walk down a hill to get to a store I dont know if that's changed over the years or not hope that helps lol :)

camden is pretty much in philly. you can take a ferry right from penns landing in philly to camden. its takes less than 5 mins to get there from philly.

Ev will probably be on 2nd to last.
It'll probably go in this order...The Exies, Flyleaf, Fuel, Chevelle/Buckcherry (I'm not too sure because they're both equally popular at this point and Buckcherry's been around longer), then Evanescence, and Velvet Revolver.

The show starts at 2 PM.

Get there early if you want to see the other bands. It looks like the best seat you're going to get is a lawn ticket at this point but regardless, you'll be able to be in the pit for the first few bands before they kick you out for the main events.

That's about half of what you asked...really don't know about the rest.

It's one thing to get backstage passes or win a contest or things like that, and quite another to wait around outside their bus until they're forced to come out a meet you. That's a ****ty thing to do to a person. They just absolutely rocked out and gave their all to give you a kick ass show and they probably just want to rest...

So... no. I don't wait outside of tour busses and try to get some forced interaction with the band. It would feel too fake, and overall I'd think it would be annoying for them.

When I saw Ev with Seether, BB and 3DG, Seether had a meet and greet. I got an email saying that I was picked to have one, but a) it poured so hard that the paper I had confirming that I was a meet and greet candidate got soaked and b) I was way up front of the pit. There was no way I could move lol and the meet and greet was after Seether's set, before Ev.

So, while it does differ from band to band, it is possible. :)

Well, there are the singles: Set Me Free, Slither, Fall to Pieces, Dirty Little Thing, and Come On, Come In...but I'd say you'd be better off listening to stuff from Stone Temple Pilots and a little GNR too.

I got one ticket the other day, waiting for my set. Sometime in the next two weeks I'm going to buy a Fuel, Buck Cherry, and Velvet Revolver cd so I can get into their music before I see them perform. I hate watching a band perform and not knowing their stuff.

Just got home and I'm exhausted so here's a quick little post about the show. Entire show was totally awesome, I nearly got killed in the mosh pit during Flyleaf who totally pwned! All the bands were awesome but here's the scoop on Ev:
Setlist - WOTW was played first and then SS was played. Other than that the setlist was the same minus Tourniquet and Whisper. Ev did an awesome job. After the first or second song Amy introduced the members playing with them. They did an awesome job. One big change - during the bridge of Imaginary when Amy normally just plays the piano by herself, now when she plays the piano, guitars and drums are added in which makes the bridge totally f-ing rock! So it was really cool. During CMWYS, we all hear the people on the lawn like screaming and we're like wtf?! Turns out it started raining on them, haha poor people. My back got wet though cause I was sitting in the back of the theater. Crowd was pretty decent although lots of people in my section sat down after the first few songs but I stood the whole time! :cool:
Oh yeah one more thing - during BMTL there were no male vocals at all!
Ok time to pass the hell out after a really long, exhausting but totally awesome day!

I was a lawn rat for this concert, which is rare for me. My friend Michelle and I actually acquired free tickets...can't beat that. And Michelle screamed like such a little bitch when it rained hard, I laughed for like 10 minutes. I must say though, despite all the drama and firings, I did enjoy the show after going in skeptical. I was hoping to see someone from here but alas I saw no one. But yeah that's my story...I got rained on and liked the performance. But the no guy part in BMTL, it didn't surprise me but I let out a "Oh no she didn't!"....even though I believe last time I saw them (with John in the band yet) he didn't sing it. Hmm yeah that's all I have to say I think *is really really tired*

Yeah b/c they had a set time limit. I think they only played for an hour and normally their usual set is a bit longer than that.

The concert last night freakin rocked. I didnt think I'd like a festival but it was so much fun. Evanescence was amazing....maybe better than the reading concert imo. Amy talked more with this audience than in reading and they all just seemed to be having so much fun. Weight of the World was first which was kinda weird but amazing. You can definitely tell they sound different with these new memebers but they still rock. but anyway the best part of the day was meeting tim. it was like 7 people total including awesome evthreads people and we were just talking to him, took pics, and he talked on the phone to my friend and mom....lol. it was hilarious. but i got lots of video of the concert so i'll be sure to post it. oh and buckcherry and velvet revolver were amazing as well....it was the best day..:D

I seriously almost cried while watching those videos. Troy and Wil are really good, but it's sad not to see John and Rocky not on the stage anymore. Oh well, Terry definitely looked a lot more comfortable on stage, so that is a plus. It's still sad though... :(

The show was good...a little weird without Rocky and John, IMO, but the new guys were great. I have a bunch of pictures, but some are on my disposable, so I'm going to wait until I get those developed and then upload all of them together. I know I got some pretty good shots of Amy and Tim, and I'm almost positive I got some good ones of the other guys, too. :) I had a great time hanging out with everyone...we're pretty awesome. :)

It was the moment. Amy ran up to him and started singing against him for a good minute. When I met Tim after the concert, he was like, "How did you like that back to back with Amy, huh? Pretty cool." I loved it - amazing.

I can't believe these people went to an Ev concert and was only stand up looking, omg. If I was there I would rock out so much, it's not because it's Ev concert, every concert I go, I rock out or dance (depends of the kind of music), I'm not a good dancer at all but I don't care.

Thanks! I was 2nd row more or less in the pit... about 10 feet to the left of center? In front/just to my right, was a girl with blond and black hair, and her boyfriend. For VR, they left, and I took their spot on the rail. Does that help?

LOL. I wasn't that guy, but, I think he was just to my left. His wife was holding his place, and she made it clear to someone that he WAS coming back. Sound familiar at all?

Well, I'm the chick that took his place when he left and didn't move when he came back. He tried pulling me back by the waist, which is when my BF intervened and almost got knocked over.

Times have changed - 10 years ago, when you left the pit, you left the pit. And EVERYONE in the pit made sure you didn't get back in. None of this "holding a spot" nonsense. If you could worm your way to the front, good for you, but you could also get seriously injured for trying.

That guy was a bully. You don't give up your spot in the second row and then expect to just knock people out of the way to get back.

That's cool! I do remember a girl in a grey shirt to my immediate right during Velvet Revolver. I don't really remember much else before the show. I remember being happy because I thought I had to wait for Chevelle to play after Fuel, and was relieved because they had already gone on! I was focused on my aching feet and my thirst, and of course, taking photos.

I don't like VR, and we couldn't stay for it anyway because we had to go back to Long Island, which was like 2 and a half to 3 hours away. Most of us had to work Monday morning, and we were basically there for Ev and a couple other bands.

LuckyStar is my friend who pushed up front with me to grab spots for Ev. She was directly behind me for Ev, I think.

Yes, I did talk to you about the Hartford show too :) That was a great show, but they were real sticklers about any photography. Makes me never want to go back there for a show. The Camden venue was awesome! It seemed like it was almost encouraged.
Finding space was tough! During Ev, I was half on the floor, and half on the raised platform that is part of the rail... and not much arm space!

I don't like VR, and we couldn't stay for it anyway because we had to go back to Long Island, which was like 2 and a half to 3 hours away. Most of us had to work Monday morning, and we were basically there for Ev and a couple other bands.

I had to drive back to Brooklyn, and getting out of Camden was a pain.. got a bit lost there trying to find our way back to the pike. Work Monday morning was tough, but, I decided to make that sacrifice to see VR. The photos I took of them were better than the EV ones because the stage lighting they use was 10 times brighter.
Got in about 1:30AM.

The photography thing depends on who is headlining. Amy doesn't like pics being taken during shows, which is why cameras are almost always banned at the shows they headline. This time around, VR were the headliners, and I guess they allowed it despite what other bands thought of it.

I didn't know how the whole camera thing worked... I have always assumed it's some combination of the band and venue, but never knew how much of it was determined by the band. I'm glad for once that cameras were allowed. It allows the fans to express themselves and some great moments can be captured. Of course, I'm sure it can be distracting for the band if people are using flashes... something I don't do. I'm looking forward to the second DVD that will hopefully be forthcoming from Ev. Please? New DVD? Soon?

PS- One question! The professional photographers with the press passes..I'm sure they get great photos..does the band get copies of those?

I think those are mostly sold to newspapers, magazines and web sites.

I actually talked with one of the person in charge of Wind Up Canada last month about the whole not taking pics at shows anymore. He told me that it was mostly the labels that are banning them and not the bands themselves. The main reason was that people come in with really good cams and take pics outside the 3 song rules and sell them afterwards. So the labels ends up not being able to sell official pics anymore. It's mostly another way for the labels to make money since selling cds isn't giving them enough nowadays.

Maybe they should try a novel idea like, signing bands/artists that don't suck? Sadly, we live in an age where the labels, the RIAA, and Clearchannel pretty much control everything we listen to commercially, and they spoon feed it to the masses. And now they want to take away internet radio too, which is pretty much the only way non-cookie cutter bands from both the USA and Europe can be heard. So, if they want to sell more CD's, try something other than these Nickelback and Creed clone bands and give us something we just might want to spend money on in the first place.

Hi all!

I'm happy to report that I no longer need the photos. I was able to retrieve them from the hard drive. Yes, it took a lot of work, but, I got those (and a thousand others) back! I'm very happy now.
