Hello everyone, I'm a long time lurker and it's great to finally be a part of Evthreads. I'm not going to gush on how much I love Evanescence because thats just...not who I am.

Who I am is, an eighteen year old homo from Florida, My name is Matt but I chose the username "Batman" because I have an undying crush on him forever and ever until the end of forever. I'm a hopeless romantic and I honestly think Amy Lee is the only woman I would ever give a chance at dating with. From what I've seen in her writing and personality (whether its a stage personality or not, I like it.) it intrigues me and stimulates my imagination. I consider myself to be an artistic person, I love to write and sketch. I'm teaching myself the photoshop but it hates me. =( I have 21 piercings and im currently planning a few tattoo's.

I've recently got kicked out of school, and so now I have a TON of free time on my hands. I don't really know the age group here yet and I know I'm not that old but anyone planning on quitting school PLEASE for the love of Amy DO NOT do it. You will be even more miserable.

Hi I've been lurking for a while and just recently registered an account. I've ducked in and out of here since very early after the site launched, but never participated. I had a gaming (WoW) problem, you see. So I finally kicked that habit and need a new one LOL :party:

Anyway, i'm 32, married with four- and two-year old boys. The two year old headbangs (not kidding) to Fallen and parts of TOD as well as other stuff we play. Our 4YO covers his ears and whines (LOL).

So let's see... as far as musical tastes. Ev of course, Flyleaf, HUGE Tool/APC fan, NIN, Korn, System of a Down, Killswitch... Lighter stuff (mostly because of my wife) is currently stuff like Arctic Monkeys, Muse, The Fratellis, The Bravery, Death Cab, Lily Allen, Beck, Radiohead, punk is OK in small doses, NO country ughhh.

Oh and LOTS of Austin and TX bands you've probably never heard of. And having SXSW and ACL Fest every year rawk \m/ \m/

anywho...been a true evanescence fan since day one when they came out.
pretty much all my friends call me miss amy lee or just one of the biggest ev nerds out there...i go 2 karaoke bars alot cuz i love to sing use to be in a band....i dont drink....i design and create my own clothing i grew up poor so im use to cheap shopping..and ripping tearing up anything to make of my own. my style is very diff....i would say its like a goth grungy metal crazy look, i have long hair pass my bum that i tend to sit on alot.haaa and im a concert queen straight head banging metal goth rocking chick.

Hi Guys!! I'm Kyle. From tiny island in the Caribbean - Trinidad. Really nice beaches and fun in the sun tho i'm hating the sun these days...I'm a huge Ev fan but I love alot of other bands. I like a mix of metal, altern rock, punk rock, goth stuff, screamo, anything that sounds cool really. I love trance and celtic music and i love discovering new and different music. I'm a college student studying Biology and Envrionmental Management, im 20 or will be in July anyway. I'm a Cancer and cancers rule. Extremely quiet at first, but get me excited about music or art or anything and i can be really crazy. Oh and get me drunk and horny too ;) lol. I love my friends and talking on the fone, i love Friends (Tv show), horror movies, fantasy novels, drawing abstract stuff all over my notebooks, coffee, mudslides, going to the movies, shopping, designing stuff, sitting for hours listening to Ev. My name is Sara. I'm 18 and I live in West Virginia. I love to listen to music and I love to sing. I write a lot. My favorite bands are Evanescence and Staind. As far as pop goes, I'm a big Christina Aguilera fan (for the sole fact that she can actually sing and does take part in the process of making her own music). I also like Eminem, 'cause he just tells it like it is. I'm a vegetarian and animal rights activist.

For any horsey people out there - he's 16.3 hands tall, black bay, and a tank of a thoroughbred. I used to show extensively in dressage but we retired a few years ago.

I'm studying social work and graduate next year! Then I'm on to nursing school.

I haven't been on these boards very long so I'm super super new. Yes, two supers. Oh yeah, I'm kind of a dork, too. ;)

There's nothing really special about me. I'm from Bosnia/Sarajevo. Going to First Bosniak High School for 2 years already, half way done :D and I have no words to describe how stupid that school is. Anyway, I love my friends. I love to sing, love to play piano and I really really love to draw. Also love photographing. All that I do in my free time, when I'm not at school or somewhere. Lots of people says that I'm kind of nervous person, Drama Queen :D I'm totally honest person who tells everything what she thinks even if that is not so good and even if that hurts other person's feelings, but I'm not evil or something, just honest. I hate when people lie and hate shuffle impersonal persons who don't have their I... There's lots of thing that I love and appreciate with people.
I love music and I listen lot of different genre. My favorit is Evanescence ofc, but I listen to death melodic metal mainly. Bands like In Flames, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, Dispatched and other... System of a Down, Slipknot, Nightwish, Slayer, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Paramore, Lacuna Coil... and more more more :D

May be I should have made this my first post but anyways.

I'm a avid new fan of Ev, I am from and older crowd I am 44, I joined the forums however only because I wish to show my support for the band and to be part of discussions and topics here on the forums.


As my grammar and punctuations as well as my opinions and my self have already been attacked here.

Briefly I will explain, I am disabled and retired had a serious auto accident about 8 years ago the expectation that I would ever be able to read or talk again was almost Nil.

I have to use a special device to chat here on any where else by that matter it transcribes what I say through a mic and is typed here and it simply is not all that good when it comes to punctuation, as I have to then back track and verbally tell it to insert the punctuation and the truth is that at times it seems like I ramble because that is how my thought pattern in speech comes out.

I am sorry to any of those that responded to me that I was on a rant, or that what I said was not completely up to standards I will most definitely try to do better.

On season 7 of American Idol I fell in love Carly Smithson. She sang Bring Me to Life on the American Idol tour, and you've probably seen the videos of her singing it.
