who the hell is jason miraz?

I think that was a typo and that's Jason MRAZ.

Jason Mraz is a pop artist, most well known for a song he released in 2003 known as "The Remedy (I Won't Worry). I believe he's released two albums and a bunch of EPs with a bunch of live shows floating around the web.

That picture took place at the 2004 Grammy Nomination Announcement where Ev were nominated for 5 awards.

Unfortunately for him, he's never actually been nominated for a Grammy on his own work.

Yeesh, I know it's really weird to see Amy posing with stars that are so far outside her genre, but it was taken AT the Billboard awards and it's been circulating on the internet ever since. Just like the pic with her and Pink, which is oh-so-ironically not causing people to say it's Photoshopped. Awards shows, in case no one has noticed, have a lot of celebrities from a lot of different places (i.e. music, tv, movies) on their guest lists, so the chances of an unlikely pair of celebrities getting their picture taken together are pretty high.

They were probably taken pretty quickly you can tell it's not much of a transition from one happy face to the next.
