Meeting them at Sydney

****ING HAHAHAHA WOOOOOO.

Omfg. Last night was THE BEST night of my life. I will now give a lengthy recount. Feel free to not read it but I'm posting anyway.

THE SHOW
We arrived at the Entertainment Centre (Sydney) around 6.45. It was packed. We were a lot later than we wanted but it was all good.

Anyway, when we were going through the gates, they were checking bags for cameras. I had mine in my pocket but apparently they're not allowed to pat you down so I got through. At one stage the security guy told me to stop, and asked what I had in my pocket because there was a bulge, but luckily it was the other pocket, with my phone and Ipod.

Anyway, I got inside and headed over to one of the many merchandise benches. $70 later, I had myself a brand new Evanescence hoodie. We pressed on and went to find our correct doors and seats.

We got in, and sat down. Our seats weren’t bad. Like I could see the stage clearly and the people didn’t look like ants. Although I seriously would have loved to be in the GA section. Let’s hope they come back soon so I can.

Anyway, the concert was FRICKEN AWESOME (see the setlist thread (http://evthreads.com/showthread.php?t=706) for what songs they played). The crowd were SO LOUD. At one point Amy announced to us that she was officially deaf, but it was a good thing. At another point she put her fingers in her ears and talked about how loud we were once again.

Anyway, they also played the first verse and chorus of AC/DC's Highway To Hell which was just awesome. They played something else at one stage but I don’t know what it was but Amy was like *laughing, sitting at the piano* “I can’t growl!”.

Anyway yeah, the concert "ended" after they played Lacrymosa. They then went off-stage and people started leaving but I knew they were going to play more because I'd already seen the setlist. Anyway, they came back a few minutes later and Amy said they'd play one more (My Immortal) under the condition that we all sing along, which everyone did. They then played Your Star as well which was awesome.

Anyway, the concert really ended, and you could tell this time because the lights came on in the venue.

MEETING THEM

We left and headed up to Mcdonalds for some dinner (even though I wasn't very hungry, I was too excited) and came back down to the venue. We waited at the fence just near the stage door for HOURS then FINALLY Amy and Terry came out.

They were ****ING AWESOME. The nicest people ever. The damn security wouldn’t let us take photos of Amy but oh well, I still got my copy of The Open Door signed by them and I asked Amy if she was still deaf. She was like "yeah!" and then Ritchie her security guy was like "it’s like huh?" (as in, she's deaf so she can't hear what I said.) Anyway, they were just so nice. They signed EVERYTHING anyone gave them (even shoes, breasts, etc. HAHA). My friend asked to feel Terry’s hair and he let her. haha. OH and I saw Josh and Beth. Josh was filming everything and Beth was standing over near the car, but nobody seemed to recognise her. Anyway I couldn’t control myself and yelled out "BETH!" and waved stupidly, and she laughed and waved back.

Anyway, Amy and Terry finally left, and then we waited for ages more. But then finally JOHN AND ROCKY CAME OUT. I got their autographs, as well as a photo with John, and my friend got a picture with rocky and he drew this awesome thing on her arm. He was like "sorry, once I'm started you can’t stop me!" and kept drawing. And the people we met while we were waiting were so awesome. There were people who caught picks and drum sticks and everyone was so excited and generally awesome. We didn't get to meet Tim because apparently he had already come out and gone straight to the car. Anyway, we talked to john & rocky for a while about just whatever, then finally rocky went along and high-fived everyone, and they finally left.

So yeah, it was the best night of my ****ing LIFE. I can’t believe I actually met them. This **** happens in your dreams and I always wished it would happen but never actually expected it.

I can't believe I met Amy and Terry! My life is now complete!
Me and Adrian were so lucky. If the slushy machine at the 7-11 had been working we wouldn't have had to take so long and thus come back at the perfect time to see Ev. We were just about to leave again when Amy came through in her van and was like "I'm coming back out guys, to sign some stuff" or something like that. So me and Adrian ran all the way over the other sign to get our stuff, blathered incoherently to Mark and ran all the way back just in time to see Terry arrive. So he signed our stuff and then Amy came out! I took some photos, as soon as my slow dialup conection manages to upload them I will post them here! I was shaking so bad Amy had to hold my arm steady to sign The Open Door. I'm still on a high. WOOOOOOOHH :D

WOW.

The freakin' BEST night of my life was last night. Evanescence are the freeeeeakin best :D

So I travelled four hours on a bus with 5 other friends to Sydney on Saturday morning (I got up at 5am..arggh). We got to Syd at like 10 am, checked into our motel and were heaps excited even though the concert wasnt for houuuurs. Eventually, we got to the S.E.C at about 3pm. The lines werent too bad, people were just sitting around and kinda emo/goth staring us haha so scary. So I rang Adrian and I was like 'Hey, where are you, I'm here' and he's like 'OMG!Get your ass here right now, I'm getting Amy's autograph!!!!' and I was like 'Frigggg frig where are you where are you' and he gave me instructions on where to go and I started running like a maniac and my friends were calling to me going 'Ali what the hell are you doing?????' haha and I ran up to them and I was like 'Freaking come with me we're meeting AMY!!!' and we pisss bolted to near gate F (we were at gate A sooo it was a tiring run haha) and I met up with Adrian and Bec and he's like 'Amy is right there' and OMG. She is sosososo beautiful. She was wearing Versace sunnies and a hello kitty top and she was just AMAZINGGG. We were so lucky that there were only like 20 people getting her autograph and stuff through the gate because then we had a chance to talk to her. I was kinda hyperventilating lol and I got out my envelope with the tickets and I said 'Hey Amy can you please sign this?' and shes like 'Sure!' and she signed it (obviously haha) and I said 'Are you excited?' and she said 'Yeah!' and she said to us 'How do you like Sydney?' and yeah we were like 'It's aweesome !' annnd then she had to go so I called out BYE! and she said bye back hahaha I feel sosososoluckyyyy!! But yeah we got photos and everything which i will post up when we get them on the internet ! And Ritchie was kool too. :)

So then we lined up, got merch etc. and after Shihad when Ev came out the croud went INSANE!!! It was so loud. I was in GA so the mosh was pretty much sweaty, smelly, crowded and LOUD ! Haha it was great though. I was about half a metre from the very front, so it was awesome even though i got bitten on the shoulder lol. And the security guys were so nice they tipped water in our mouths so we didnt dehydrate :) At the end the guys threw their picks into the crowd and I got Terry's guitar pick :) I'm gonna frame it along with Amy's autograph :D

If anyone else stayed around after the show, where abouts were you? I was kinda at the end closer to the car park, just next to where the signs were on the fence.

I just remembered... I was waiting for Amy and Terry to come down, and some stupid bitch came through like "move, move excuse me, move" and I was just like :o. she tried to push me out of the way but there was NO WAY i was having that. so i tightened my grip on the fence and i pushed her back, and i don't remember much more but she pissed off after that. god was i annoyed. i mean, we'd all waited hours for them to come out, and we had been at the fence the whole time. who did she think she was to come pushing through?

and if it was someone off here i'm sorry but you were god-damn rude.

Evanescence

It was so awsome, i caught the train to sydney on saturday morning and got to central. Dad was gonna pick me up but i said i would go down to the entertainment centre and scope the place out. I got down there and there was tons of people so it thought well i have some time, so i ran round to the security gate and waited to see the band.

Dead on 3 o'clock a van arrived with Amy, John, Tim and Rocky. One of the security guys said they'll be back out in a sec to us, but John just signed stuff straight away, i asked him if he had had vegemite yet, he he said "What the **** i keep getting ased that" and then he finished signing everyones stuff, there was only about 15 people.

Then another car came with Richie and Terry they got out and terry started signing stuff, I told him he had very cool dreads and he was like thanks dude. Then i asked for Richies signature, he gave it to me but he crushed my wrist in doing so. They went inside.

5 minutes later, Richie came back out with amy and she signed everyones stuff.

So we waited through sound cheak and listened to it and it sounded awsome. We kept waiting then at around 5.30 we saw terry on his mobile out the back and when he finished his call he came over and talked with us and signed our stuff again, there were only 4 people so it was really cool to talk with him. He said no-one else would probably come out until the end of the show and gave us times to come back and he told us to go get seats and enjoy the show so i told him thanks and i left and got picked up.

The next day i got to th Entertainment Centre at 12.30 and took my seat at gate A, everyone was waiting there and they were all really nice and i played cards with total strangers, then at 3 i asked them to look after my bags and i ran around to the back again and tem minutes later the vans arrived again and tim, john, terry and amy all started signing stuff. I asked terry if i could touch his dreads and he was like sure here you go. They are officially the coolest ever. Then they went inside.

So i went back round and sat down for another couple of hours and got talkng to the security guys, they were so good to us, they made sure we got up the front.

Then we got called into the gates and had to wait at the doors, door 1 for me. They opened the door and everyone started running to the front and one dude got totalled by Richie, cause they werent supposed to be running. So we all got fored to sit and not touch the barrier so that we wouldnt crush. We sat for 20 minutes and then they said everone up and it was a made rush for the barrier, i got both hand on it so i was happy.

Then Shihad started playing they were alright, not the best but alright. they played for 45 minutes. Then they did Evanescences sound cheak.

Then the room just went pitch black and the inner curtain opened and the whole band was there playing Sweet Sacrifice, they played in all.

In all that im living for we started yeling Terry as loud as we could and waving at him to come over and he looked straight at me and was nodding then at the end of the sond he ran over and through the pick right at me, but everyone jumped and we all missed it and the security dude wouldnt hand it over cause we kept grabbing at it. So my friend was gonna jump the fence but i said no dont ill get it, and i waited and called Richie up to our end and told him what happened and he said ill see what i can do and he come back with like 6 picks and gave them out.

Then at the end of the show amy came ove to our side of the stage and waved at us and was like thankyoun sydney (fangasm). And tim through his pick at the girl next to me. So i quickly bolted to the securit fence at the end of the show (i still had to get rocky). And we grabbed the fence and waiited for 45 minutes and then tim came out and it took a while for the crowd to relise who he was. so he came to our side of the fence and started to sign stuff and i told him that i just missed his pick and he said here have this one and gave me the pick. He stood up our end of the fence and talked with me for a while he was realy nice, people were asking him to sign posters and he said "ahhh yess all the posters im not even in" so said they should photoshop you in and he laughed.

Then Rocky came out and signed my stuff and a said the skeliton he drew on a girls arm was very cool, and he said thanks then kept signing. Then Terry came out again and signed or stuff and i asked if he could see us in the show, and he said yup, we told him about the picks and he was gonna give us another one till we said that richie did. He talked for a while and then moved down the crowd. Then Amy came out and Richie was like 1 thing each but she signed 3 of mine and moved down. Then Terry got into the car and everyone said bye terry and he yelled out "SMOKE WEED!!!!!!" then jumped in the car. I waited around till 1 in the morning but John apparently didnt come out till 3am.

Terry was super nice to everyone, Amy was suprisingly short but still cool, Tim was really funny and John has the sickest tattoos ever, Rocky was really quiet but he was good. So in all i got, Terrys sig nine times, tims four times, Rockys twice, Johns three times and Amys five times. Two guitar pics and the best time ever.

Err I'm feeling so sad at the moment. I can barely remember ANYTHING from the concert. Like, I remember before and after (kinda) but not during. Seriously if I try to remember any song they played, I can't remember seeing it live, except the beginning of Sweet Sacrifice at the VERY beginning of the concer. I mean, I remember more of the SHIHAD performance than the Ev one.

I think I was like just so caught up in it all that it all just went over my head. Someone today asked me if they played My Last Breath and I had to tell them I DIDN'T KNOW. WTF?! Has this happened to anyone else, like they were just so caught up in it that everything went in one ear and out the other?

WoOoooW!!!!!!!!! Words cannot express how excited I have been in the last 24 hours........

My dream has finally come true - I have met Evanescence - how ****en awesome is that? After watching the first concert, then going to the cloak room to collect my bag, i went round the gate to wait for them - but I didn't wait long enough, as I just thought they wouldn't come out (for some stupid reason....lol). I think the exhaustion really got to be bad.......

Anyway, I thought **** this!! I'm going to the Syd Ent Ctr after the 2nd show and I'm waiting outside the gate until they come out - no matter how long I have to wait! I was so jealous reading on here that they came out 1:30am on Sunday morn and missed out....(I wasn't gonna regret it a 2nd time)

I arrived 10:30pm. Got chatting to bass player from Shihad with couple of chicks that were there before me. I asked him if Evanescence were gonna come out and he replied: "Yeah, I think they will"!

Guards were saying they will come out, but no photos, only autographs. At around 11:20pm, Tim was the first to greet us. He signed my 2 Syd concert tickets (17.02.07 and 11.01.04). He was cool. He signed the centrefold of my ABH CD near William Boyd's face and said: "I'll sign there because everyone thinks I look like Will". Which I think he kinda does in a way. He said he loves touring with Ev and doesn't like going home. I told him: "Can u sign near Ben Moody on my Fallen CD". He replied with: "No, save that for Terry - he likes signing over Ben's face". LOL......

Next Rocky came out. He signed my concert tix, Fallen and ABH CD's and merch poster. Terry then came, and he did the same. I tell you what, he really loved signing over Ben Moody's face. It was hilarious how he did it - all that ANGST came out!!!!

And then....the one and only, the beatiful Amy..... She was amazing in the flesh. An absolute angel. I was so mesmerized. I said thank u for an awesome show, you are an awesome singer and please come back and tour again. She said: "Yeah sure, we'll be back". I then said: "please release an album soon" but what i meant to say was (although it came out wrong), don't make us wait 4eva for a new album. But surprisingly enough she said "No! And i was like: "No???". I asked when do we expect a new album? 2008? 2009? 2010?...then she said "3000!!" and i was like "no, we'll be dead then". She was so funny and cute. At this stage i thought WOOW, she is really having a full-on conversation with me!!! Someone had to pinch me!!! LOL...

I told her the performance of Your Star was terrific. She said "thank u, we love playing it - it's one of our faves. I asked her would it be released as a single, but she said "No, we're not allowed! She told me: "Sshhh, make sure Terry doesn't here you - he loves that song"! I continued further by asking her: "Can I ask you, what is Your Star about? Is it about Terry?" She paused for a few secs while she was signing everyone's stuff and said "No, it's about missing / losing someone!". I'm pretty sure she said missing, but then again, i think it was losing.....can't remember...LOL :)

She signed everything 4 me. I will cherish that moment forever. She really is so loyal to her fans, so were the rest of band, by signing everything that everyone threw at them...........

John for some reason didn't come out. I had to leave cause someone was picking me up after midnight. Can someone tell me if John came out and greeted fans / signed autographs?? He was the only one i didn't meet and only member that didn't sign my stuff. But oh well, Amy was the most important for me. By around 12:15 i was ready to leave. If I was able to take just 1 photo of Amy and myself, that would have been the 'icing on my cake'!

What a night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went home thinking I can sleep better, but in actual fact i couldn't...i was too overwhelmed by the whole experience.....

Thank u Evanescence, for making my dream become a REALITY!!!!!!!!

I dont think John ended up coming out on Sunday night :(
There were a handful of people left by the time we went (past 12) and we saw the van move up to where the double doors were but even if he did come out, it wouldn've taken ages considering it took a while for the rest of the band to come out when they were lining up the cars. We could've stayed but didnt want to risk getting our car locked up in the parking lot and we do have to go to work the next day LOL

It was so great meeting them in the flesh though.... they were so gracious about everything which really shows a lot about their character. Glad to see that fame and success hasnt made them too big for their boots... gotta love them for being so down to earth! :)

I still cant believe I met them! It's so surreal... the best weekend EVER! :D

The concert didn't start till 8 but my brother and I decided we would go early and arrived at about 3:30-4 in the afternoon. It was lucky we did because we met Terry Balsamo!! He signed my arm and poster! We talked for a bit about how he was doing interviews and that after the show we will be able to meet the whole band if we just wait a while. Since Terry informed us that the band won't be out till after, we waited around for a bit, met some of the fans and talked with them while waiting.

It was 6:30pm and the gates were about to open, so we waited in line. We got in and the doors wouldn't open till close to 8, so we went and bought t-shirts and waited. Finally the doors opened and in we went. I was in the seating area, but as my story continues you will be able to see why I wish i just went for floor tickets. Shihad was the support band and I don't like them but when they asked for people to punch the air and yell, I did it, though I just really wanted to see Evanesence. They played for about 45 minutes to an hour, which was too long in my opinion and then half an hour to 45 minutes later, Evanescence came on stage! I went frantically crazy because this was my first concert and I absolutley love Evanescence. The people round me however, were angry because I was being too loud and annoying because I was singing and punching the air and just having fun. I yelled out "I love you Amy" and they said "She can't hear you, you idiot, shutup" I was doing the metal salute at this time and changed it to the middle finger salute, just for them.

After the show. I waited 2 hours to meet them all! Amy came out and signed my poster and my hand. I told Amy about the people telling me I was stupid for yelling that "I love you Amy" and then how they were all annoyed because I was "too loud". She then replied "What?!? Your at a concert! Don't worry I hear you now!" Then I told her this was my first concert and she said "What? Where have you been? How old are you?" I told her I was 17 and this was such a fantastic concert and she said "I'm glad you enjoyed it." She then squeezed my hand and moved on. My brother said to her "have I told you lately that I love you?" then she laughed and sang "have I told you lately that I love you" and it was so awesome, it was like she was singing just to me and my brother!! She asked us if we noticed that her shoe broke on stage and we said no, then she said it was because she was so "proffesh" (her word, not mine). I was mucking around and said "actually I saw it and it ruined the show", then she laughed and said "you didn't see it did you?" and I said "no I was joking" then we laughed. I saw Terry again and i asked if I could sign his arm because he signed mine and he let me!! Josh (Amy's fiance) and Terry had a camera and were filming me! I saw Rocky Gray and John LeCompt and they signed my arm and poster! Rocky did this awesome skull design on my arm with his signiture! John accidently signed the poster upside down and apologised but I said it was fine.

Sunday the 18th of February 2007. We had to go back and get our cameras because they were still locked in the cloak room. We got them back and decided to wait and see if we could meet the band before that nights show. We weren't going to that show, but we wanted to meet the band again. We did!! I saw John first and he signed my ticket, then Terry did, then Tim McCord (but I don't really like him), then Amy. Amy asked if I was going again tonight and I said "No sorry" she said "thats ok. At least you went last night". I didn't get to see Rocky though so he was the only one who didn't sign my ticket. Terry came out again and I asked him if Rocky was going to come out. He said he'd go in and check. Terry came back out with Ritchie (Amy's bodyguard) and they told me he won't be able to come out because of sound check and what not. They told me I could meet him after the show but since I wasn't staying, I couldn't. It was ok because at least I met him Saturday night. Since Terry was out and he had just finished his water, I asked if I could have the bottle. He asked if I was sure I wanted it since there could be spit, and I said thats fine. He asked again "are you sure?" and I said yes, i also asked if he could sign it and he did and gave it to me!!!

I have photos, but they are too big to upload as an attachment and I don't know how to resize them. I want to see if Centrey was talking about what Rocky did on my arm and I want to show you all my signed stuff. Can someone tell me how to fix it?

He noticed me and used some of his fingers to wave at me(I was breathless) and raised his eyebrows! I was so speechless! Luckily I didn't faint! Not just that, there are more stuff that I wan to talk about but I don't have enough time now! I'll continue this later

I really CAN’T believe that I got2 meet Evanescence in Sydney! I thought I was dreaming but duh! It really happened! To tell ya guys the truth, rock, punk and metal bands are strictly NOT allowed in my country as the government’s OVER concerned about obscence, dress code and bad language in public. C’mon! Evanescence has NEVER had bad lyrics in their songs(so far) and Amy Lee’s so NOT the revealing type of woman! Even bands like Fall Out Boy and Good Charlotte aren’t so into BLACK METAL. But the government had made A STOOPID mistake of calling PUSSY CAT DOLL last year! They’re worst than rock guy bands! Look at them showing their skins on stage and hypnotizing moves! Now this is how my story goes: My mum decided 2 go 2 Sydney during Chinese New Year holidays to have fun there and also as my 14th birthday treat! I begged my mum if we could go 2 any concert(s) while we were there and she said “Ok, if we can get the tickets and if it happens that your fave band is going 2 be there while we’re around there at the same time.” I couldn’t disagree the plan! So, we got 2 work. I tried checking MCR, Simple Plan and Fall Out Boy but failed cuz SP won’t b there, MCR is going on another date and so is FOB! I even tried Good Charlotte but nah! They’re touring US first!

One week b4 the trip, my mum asked me whether I want 2 go for Evanescence as they’ll play on the day that we arrive, Saturday and Sunday. She found out about them via TICKETMASTER site. That time, I wasn’t a hard core fan of them but I do adore and love their music(at least I have THE OPEN DOOR and their LITHIUM promo poster up in my room!)! I was like “Ok, mum! I do love their tracks from THE OPEN DOOR and Amy’s got a unique voice and she isn’t so ‘revealing’ like other artists.” Mum has heard some of their songs: CALL ME WHEN YOU’RE SOBER and BRING ME TO LIFE and she said that this band is quite good. So, back @ my mum’s office, she told me 2 get the best seats available. We tried 4 Saturday but we kept on getting the worst seating, which was the highest level of the hall and it was TOO far to the side! I guess it was obvious dat Saturday nite is the most convenient night 4 everyone especially the locals! I scrolled my mouse to SUNDAY and clicked on it. We took the seating area. I was quite pissed and happy @ d same time because it kept on offering us Section 2, Door 6, Row FF(the side seating which was pretty near the PA system area). Mum said that it’ll b quite noisy. I said, “Never mind, it’s my 1st concert and I might NEVER get this chance!”. :up: :rock:

As we reached Australia, I was so impatient 2 go 2 the concert! I didn’t have the 100% perfect outfit for d concert, but we did some last minute shopping at the tourists’ markets! We got quite good clothes for the right price but those ‘rock’ clothes are mainly 4 me and as if my mum wants 2 b a rocker! She prefers 2 b called a ‘mum’ than a ‘sister’! Lolz! :rock::rock: The night came and I was overly excited! Luckily, we got a clip on wig at Paddy’s Market(I think that’s the name, if I’m wrong, please tell me) It was black in colour and had some pink-red highlights on it. I felt good wearing it. I was kinda upset that I didn’t really have proper shoes because my luggage was full and predicted that there won’t b any space after the shoppings! YIkkes! At least I had my black colored sporty shoes and kinda suits well with the whole outfit(about 50%) and we were ready 2 go!

The night finally came. I saw SO many people in goth and rock outfits like I’ve never seen b4! I called it ‘The Punk-Rock/Goth Scene’! It is kinda weird but hey! It’s my first time 2 a rock concert! So, we went in via GATE A and had some snacks b4 the show. We found out that our seats were near the PA system Area. It was pretty cool cuz it was near the stage and I could see what the roadies were doing! One of the staff told us that EV is gonna arrive @ 9.15 pm(if I remembered!). 8.00pm! A supporting band came onstage and played their songs. I didn’t know them AT ALL but they’re called SHIHAD. I was attracted to their rocking songs. AT first, I thought it was Pierre(Simple Plan) and then I thought he was the guy from ALL AMERICAN REJECTS but I was so WRONG! I looked carefully and that guy was someone else! He had a nice voice though. Not bad for an opening. During break, my mum forced me 2 go 2 the loo and I was impatient for EV to arrive!

9.15pm: The stagelights darkened and the Amy’s voice was heard. She looked so ‘kawaii’ in that skirt and I was like “COOL!”. :rock: It just so happened that the hall wasn’t full! A couple infrontof me went to row AA and I followed them and sat at row BB. My mum didn’t follow. Luckily, no one sat behind me cuz I raised my arms and moved back and forth like how d people did at the standing area. At one part of the show, the couple stood up and I followed suit. A guard was about to tell them 2 sit down and I quickly sat down like I didn’t do anything! I was like a shadow of them! Lolz! When Amy went solo with the piano, I screamed “YOU’RE MY IDOL AMY LEE!”. Well, it was silent that time until I said that and some people continued making usual concert noise. At the same time, Terry, Rocky, John and Tim left the stage for Amy to play solo. Terry and Tim(might be John) used the stairway to the PA area and I felt like I was gonna get a headache! And in the darkness, I ACTUALLY saw Terry smoking(I was too stunned to know if I was hallucinating or if it was real!)! He had a quick smoke, drank some water and chatted with the roadies. At row AA, far to the side, I realized that there was a roadie(I guessed) and he was wearing an EV shirt while singing to the songs. During a short break, Amy went back stage via the PA area and I shouted, “You ROCK!” and the couple was so overwhelmed and nearly touched her until her bodyguard pulled her aside. I saw Amy being fanned with a towel by a roadie. I prayed and prayed 4 her 2 use the same way and she DID! She looked much better!:bwahaha:

At the end of the concert(uwa! I’m crying!), the guys threw some of their stuff to the audience(like usual rock shows). Amy walked down the stairway and me and the couple waved at her while screaming and she waved back at us. I was like “Amy you ROCK!”. She was shortly followed by Terry. He nearly forgotten his glass bottle so he turned back to collect it and immediately drank while walking. I screamed “YOU ROCK DUDE!” and he noticed me. While drinking, three of his fingers let go of the bottle and waved at me, accompanied with his raised eyebrows. He personally waved at ME! I was so breathless and I thought I was going to faint but luckily it didn’t happen! He continued walking and I screamed madly! After a few secs, Rocky came and talked 2 the roadie who was sitting at row AA! My mum was calling me but I ignored. I screamed “You ROCK DUDE!” but he was talking to the roadie. I got to see him about 2 meters away! Too bad I couldn’t stay longer bcuz we had to get back to our hotel in Bondi Beach. At the same time, our flight was due tomorrow and we had 2 hurry! It was definitely a great experience! Before we head 2 the train station, we took a few photos of that area as to remember that we went there! Well, I thought that seat sucked but it was MORE THAN AWESOME! I knew if we waited longer, we can get upclose with the band but what can I do? Flight due tomorrow and worrying about our transport to get back 2 Bondi Beach! Apart from the photos taken, I do keep the tickets as testimonials!

It was a good experience which you might never ever get it again especially if it is a birthday treat for you! My b’day’ s not that night and it’s on 23 January! It was my greatest first concert overseas ever! I mean my first theatre was here and presently, my first rock concert was here! A great experience for first timers to concerts! But my mum wasn’t like me because she had been to other many concerts in her life! :yes: Secondly, she wasn’t so happy of SHIHAD using the four lettered word many times on stage. I guess it’s very obvious that mums are very concerned about their children when it comes to this matter. So? Like yeah! It was the best night of my life! I got to see Evanescence and a new great band! Well, that’s how my story goes! I bet those guys who waited longer got to see EV upclose!
