Chevelle (http://www.chevelleinc.com/) and Finger Eleven (http://www.fingereleven.com/) will join Evanescence on this tour.

Evanescence is also planning a third U.S. leg which will bring the band to arenas in major markets in the late spring/early summer.

Whoever is from Toronto and wants to go to this show, we should arrange a road trip of sorts... Im likely going to take my sisters car (because its a helluva lot newer and nicer then mine) and drive up.. I've told Lisa that I can drive her as well, and I might have 1 friend coming with me...if so, I will have 2 (or 3) extra spots in my car. If everyone pitches for gas, it will be like $35 each...thats a LOT cheaper then flying to NY or taking the bus (which, as i stated earlier is $137!)

Okay I went to work and this thread exploded with life. LOL! Not too mention n1knyc is warning everyone that "the canadians are coming" haha that is awesome, i feel so loved! :D

So lets address a few people first...

KrazyKelly.... Our car is probably as full as it is going to get. There are three of us, plus luggage in a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire. I think its a two door. Anyways the passengers are me (deesha) my wife who doesnt post on the thread only because i hog the computer all the time lol, and dreamchaser aka jordana. I think what the plan is that Jordana is going to drive down from Flin Flon to come pick up Shawna and I from Brandon Manitoba, and then start heading for Providence, RI our first stop and our first of 2 concerts in 2 nights. But yeah those are our plans.

I thought I'd come back out of hiding since I've heard there was going to be a raid of Canadians hitting Glens Falls :cool:

When I first heard where the NY concert was going to be, I said "Glens where?" and figured I wouldn't be going. But theres a little itch in the back of my head (no, no cooties!) that keeps making me come back here. Ever since I went to the Ev concert in T.O... I've thought about going to another one (to fill the new concert addiction, of course). And a road trip would be fun - except I don't drive. But then I heard word here that I might be able to get a round trip greyhound bus out there. So all I need to find out is if I can get a hotel near the greyhound bus area and the concert venue. Anyone have any of that info? I'm thinking some of you might be staying the night after the concert (especially if you are coming from T.O).

I have a few hours to decide (before tickets go on sale to the public) and need to make all the arrangements so that I can actually show up. Otherwise it would be a verrry long walk ;)

First of all sorry for the double post. But it needs to be done LOL!

Everyone over the past month or so has heard about "the canadian invasion" the name that was cued by none other than n1knyc on the boards himself after hearing that dreamchaser_83, myself, and my wife shawna were all car pooling down to the states for the first time to see evanescence in concert at the providence, RI show and the glens falls, NY show!

Unfortunately over the past few weeks it seems that our beloved dreamchaser_83 has gotten cold feet despite all her worries about the trip being put to rest. This post is too the viewers of this thread, to the fans of the "canadian invasion" to the people who still want us together and to hit those concerts up and rock them out like Ev has never seen before. Cmon dreamchaser_83 we cant do it without you!

This concert is going to be awesome, but not without you, not with only 2/3rds of the candian invasion!

So everyone that is reading this and still wants dreamchaser_83 aka jordana at that concert, everyone who wants to see the FULL CANADIAN INVASION on those concerts please post your replies... PM dreamchaser_83, do whatever is neccessary... lets feel the love.

Yeah basically a bunch of people travelling (well 2 from manitoba, canada) too the Providence RI show and then the next night at the Glens Falls, NY show.

The phrase was coined, or the name rather when a user that goes by the name on the Evthreads, n1knyc realised that we are travelling over 2000 miles from our hometown just to see 2 Ev concerts in america, all in just a week. 2000 miles there, and then another 2000 miles back! Hehe, dedicated fans. But yeah then he start calling us the Canadian Invasion and as they say the rest is history. :D

its not unlikely for ev fans to travel a great distance to see them live. i did it more than once, and i ran into a guy named matthew in toronto who came all the way from texas. great bands bring out people from all over the world! :) there were also people from overseas at the toronto show. i can't quite remember where they had come from, but it was pretty far.

Well my bus leaves early tommorow morning and I will be at my concerts soon! One of which happens to be the Glens Falls concert!

I cant freakin wait. Im so excited. The first EV concert I went too I was in shock that I was going in the first place. And then while I was there it was just surreal.

This time its a different feeling, but nevertheless a good one!

So this will be probably my last post before the concerts... just want to say too everyone going... have the time of your lives! Rock out and show Ev the props that they deserve! :D

You need a ticket to get into the pit but yeah the pit is pretty safe for Ev shows aside from people trying to push forward. I was front row once and it'd def. cool but at my show a lot of annoying girls were trying to push forward as if I could move any closer to the stage.

yeah the civic center is mad small...i dunno where you all are commin from but if you've ever been to the RPI field house it's a bit smaller than that....if you havent been to the RPI field house...well..its really ..really...small..so even if you have like seats wayyyyy out in the back in the nosebleeds..you'll still be able to see everything lol
