Chevelle (http://www.chevelleinc.com/) and Finger Eleven (http://www.fingereleven.com/) will join Evanescence on this tour.

Evanescence is also planning a third U.S. leg which will bring the band to arenas in major markets in the late spring/early summer.

I paid $37 and some more money for a processing and convenience fee. So it came to about $47. I am with EvClub too. What discount are you talking about? The only priviledge I thought we had was being able to get pre-sale tickets.

Well for me in northern new jersey it takes around 2 hours and 20 minutes I think? Well, it depends on the traffic really... And, I looked up tickets on ticketmaster, and so far all the "floor" seatings are sold out, so now there up to the royal seating on row 117 and I think there's 242? But at the rate it's going I think it will eventually sell out probably in 1 month (March) or in the middle of march

I am going to this show!!! i'm so excited! this is my first ev concert! it's gonna rock soo much! i can't wait! i'm not on the floor tho..i heard that the floor sucks cause u can't see..but i guess if ur up close then u can lol but idk it's gonna be awsome!

Yeah, I heard that when you're on the floor you can't really see anything, but when you're in the seatings you feel as if you want to get closer to stage... So, in this concert i'm going to try out the floor... You'll have a great time even if you had a bad seating or you cannot see anything she's amazing live! it's crazy!

There's no seating on the ground level? Do they at least have you stand in an area somewhat close to what they suggest on your ticket? I'm curious because I've got a fairly good spot that is, according to their seating chart, not too far from the stage. I'm traveling almost five hours to see this so I don't wanna get jipped on the seating... or standing...

Well, all "floor" admissions are general. So, to get a good view you must arrive early. The reason why they gave you seating probably is to calculate how many people are going to be on the floor, but other then that the concert is standing (not seating).

I'm from Chile [South America] but I'm in Glassboro right now as an exchange student [it's my 3rd week here in your country].

I bought my ticket [FL GA] but I really don't know how to get to Reading, and I don't know where I can sleep that night... I really want to be there, I've been waiting for this concert for years.

I can go to Camden or Philly to get something to go to Reading but I don't know what I have to take.

Can you give some tips to get overthere [bus/train] and any motel/hostel or something cheap to sleep that night? I'm going alone!!!

After going to this site select to origin Glassboro then after that on destination click on Philadelphia... Then finally on the bottom choose the date of time (I would say choose April 2 at 9:20 a.m) -- You might want to give yourself a little time trying to find your way -- When you enter it, you'll see there's a bus for 9:20 a.m there and you will there exactly around 10:30 a.m.

I'm not really sure about the busses in Philadelphia, so I cannot really help you.... I've looked at the Reading Busses, but I have no idea where exactly they go? You can try finding it yourself but these are the links i've came across http://www.amtrak.com/ and http://www.bartabus.com/ -- If these don't give you any information try searching on google

i'm not sure about your taste in hotels but these are probably the cheapest nicest ones... you can always go to www.hotels.com and type in reading and search for a place that you'd enjoy but remember to look where it's located!!

Remember to reserve your hotel by calling their numbers, sometimes a lot of hotels get booked and I don't think you want to take a chance of having every single hotel you go to booked out.


Edit: I actually found a bus http://airs.septa.org/bin/query.exe/en?OK#focus in PA after taking the NJ transit i'm not exactly sure which one you should take but if you take awhile looking it up and finding where to go you're all set :)

The Wyndham something. It's 3 blocks from the Sovereign Center. It isn't exactly cheap though.

Tips concerning the police, from someone who has lived in/close to Reading nearly all his life:

1. I would call the Sovereign Center before camping out at 8AM, to make sure it is fine with the venue. The reason I state this is because Reading cops are notorious for being overkill and they probably wont allow you to camp there that early because they don't want people to get rowdy. :rolleyes:

2. Which brings me to my next point, if a Reading cop approaches you..never ever talk back to them. Giving them lip is a good way to get yourself into a world of s***, because like I said, they are hardasses and if you ask anyone who's ever been pulled over by a Reading cop they will tell you that they are no fun.

3. No smoking pot or doing any illegal drugs in line or at the concert. I shouldn't have to explain this one. Reading police are not fond of drug usage and they WILL arrest you for doing them.

The amazing thing is..yeah Evanescence are incredible, but so are the two other bands on this bill.

There is not one terrible band on the bill, April 2nd will be INCREDIBLE. Especially since the new Linkin Park single will come out that same day.

We've already interviewed Phoenix, and leaked Remember The Name, and Qwerty (Live) before they ever were officially released by the band. We're looking to get What I've Done too.

Singles are different than albums. The first single (aka FIRST SONG RELEASED TO RADIO) is "WHAT I'VE DONE" and that comes out April 2nd..the album "MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT" comes out May 15th. The single (which DOES come out April 2nd) is what I was so happy about. Please read more carefully next time.

you assume a risk if you do. policies differ from show to show. when I went to baltimore to see Cradle of Filth, it said no cameras, but there were digitals going off everywhere. difference, security couldn't get in the midst to start confiscating them. not sure what the search policies were... I was already inside LOL

I believe the camera policy actually depends on the band and not the venue. Electric Factory had a strict no camera policy, yet they allowed so many kids in with cameras blatantly showing..I guess because Evanescence said it'd be fine.

Hmm, listen up people. I just got off the phone with the Soverign Center. People arriving prior to 6pm, are considered lingering on the premises and subject to loitering laws, enforced of course by the Reading PD. This information comes from the Director of Operations. People inside the Center, also have the discretion to call and have show-goer's removed from the premises at their discretion.

Now, having said that, I am still getting to Reading earlier in the day. Heads together, we should be able to claim our front row seats..since we ARE the diehards.

If you do, I think it would be at your own risk. Remember, alot of times, they don't care why you're there. And alot of people don't find this stuff out ahead of time. I called up the Sovereign Center and I asked them a couple of questions regarding the camera policy and also the time that you can wait online. They said that you cannot bring any camera's obviously because of the camera policy, and if you have floor seats (general admission) you could only wait there after 6 pm :(

The Penn Court lot looks like a good place to start. I'm gonna be a little later than I thought. I have to run to Harrisburg before I come down.. so I'm looking at getting there at like 10ish, or so. Here's a thought too for those of us with cell phones...maybe a pm number trade, so perhaps we can all end up in the same location, or at least proximity.

Also, I've called everyone, and looked everywhere I can think. There isn't much to do around there... heh. I'm making my girls bring books and stuff to keep them busy, or they'll drive us all nuts.

That's the place I've got my eye on, too. The website I posted says it's 10 dollars, which is fair. I myself don't have a cell, but the friend I'm bringing along does. I don't happen to know it, however, so I'll get back to you. We'll be on the road by 7:30. It's about an hour drive for us. Adding in other factors, we'll probably be there around 9:00.

The only entertainment I'm bringing is my CD case and possibly something to read. I'm assuming there will be restaurants in the area. I'm hoping to avoid starvation.

If we hang out in the parking garage...we can pretty well avoid security. However, it also gives us the freedom, giving the proximity of the Sovereign Center, to occassionally go out, mill around, and well do whatever. Hehe... that's about the do whatever until we all get our fixes!

Hey guys, I'm new to evthreads, first let me say that I am beyond excited to see Evanescence again! I've been reading this board for a while now just to see the information you all are providing about the concert. I felt the need to chime in when you all started talking about meeting up there. I'm bummed that we can't get in line early, I didn't plan on getting there quite as early as some of you (I'm coming from Maryland), probably around 2:30pm-ish. I'm coming with my boyfriend who I'm sad to say isn't the biggest Evanescence fan (he loves Amy Lee's voice, but he doesn't like the words to their songs....screw him). Well, to get to the point, he insists on coming with me, and he promised he wouldn't be a party pooper, but incase he is, I need people to hang out with that are just as pumped as I am! We have floor seating too, so if I'm not too new to be in on things, I sure wouldn't mind!

Several people have called the venue and all gotten the same response, that cameras are prohibited. Most, if not all venues say this, but people always manage to sneak them in. It's all up to whether you want to risk getting caught with one. I'm bringing at least two.

Alas, I have no boobs....I didn't really want to take a purse, but what I was thinking about doing (since it is an old crappy purse) is cutting a hole in the lining and putting the camera in there and sewing it back up. When I went to see evanescence in '04 at merryweather (however you spell it) they were only allowing throw away cameras, so I thought that if the sovereign center allowed that then I would open the cardboard, take out the crappy camera, and shove my digital one in there, but my plan won't work, so here come the boxy boobs!

Yea, I'm getting there early regardless of whether we're allowed to be in line early. I'm just doing it for the fun. We can always walk around, go in shops and other places until we can line up, and the advantage of being there early is that if we ARE allowed to line up a little bit earlier, then we'll already be there. There's always a chance you can meet them. And as far as I know, there's no rule against standing near the buses, the trick is finding them... and WAITING. If you're not willing to stand a couple of hours after standing at a concert all day, it's not worth it to bother. You never know how long you might have to wait.
