Just thought I'd let you guys know a few policies, since I got off the phone with Sovereign Center.

1. They will not allow ANYBODY to stand in line before 6:00PM and the doors open at seven. This is due in part to Reading's no loitering policy.

2. Parking is available close by but currently since it is run by the city of Reading it may be difficult to get a spot, since workers at local businesses use it for parking. It will clear up closer to the time the event started.

3. There is a strict no camera policy for this exact concert, and any digital cameras snuck in will be confiscated and returned to the owners at the front desk at the end of the concert, WITH ALL PICTURES FROM THE CONCERT DELETED. Also there are food and refreshments available at the concert so there is no need to bring anything in from outside, as they will not let you do so. Furthermore disposables will not be given back and will be destroyed.

Enjoy the concert!

Thank you so very much Derek.

I actually was told the same thing about employee use of the lots by my dad this morning.

What time are you arriving?

Do you think you could perhaps PM me your cell as another means of contact? I'd really appreciate it.

How do you plan on getting a camera in, if at all?

The nausea is disipating somewhat...but my brain is still spinning!!! Can I get an EEK???!!!

This day, this night was the shiznit. My year, my life, has officially been made. Amber and Jeff, I love you guys to death. So glad we met, and I hope to do it all again sometime. Honest. Thank you for everything.

Two towels (thank you Jack Wiese!!! Everyone check out the band Mourningside. Now!), a pick, autographs from Terry, John, Tim, and Rickie, pics with John and Tim...p.s. Tim's urine is clear in the morning and John uses cherry Chapstick. And no one likes Ben Moody. John remembered me from the crowd as soon as we approached him. ((MAJOR SQUEE)) Tip: Remember that the guys exist, and make eye contact and sing back and rock out with them too!

I'm still in a daze, on Cloud Nine (guuuuess it wasn't reeeeeal after allllllllllll), all I know is I was in another world while they were performing. An experience like none other, completely engrossing. That's all I can say.

BEHOLD! MY MASSIVE CONCERT REVIEW! MORE THAN 2 PAGES LONG. LAWL.

PART ONE - BEFORE EVANESCENCE

So yeah did I get any chance last night to tell you how mind-blowing awesome and amazing that concert was last night? There is so much stuff to remember and so much going on in my head right now that I might need to read other people's reviews to remember everything (haha!) :|. To start, we got there around 4:30-5-ish and stopped by the local Quiznos to go the bathroom and get a small bite to eat before the concert began. It was there that I met an EvClub member named Beth who was there with a few friends and spoke to me for the majority of the time we were in the Quiznos together. Infact, it wasn't until about quarter to six that we realized they were going to start letting people in...so my dad (being the creative guy he is) decided we should walk up the side of the sidewalk that the venue was on, walk around the block in a circle, and hide on the corner and wait till they start letting people in. Sure enough the minute they did, we calmly walked and 'blended in with the crowd' which helped us to get an incredibly good place in line after which we had to wait about an hour. The people in that crowd were really nice folks and I spoke to them while promoting the new Linkin Park album to the entire line (I gave all my Minutes To Midnight stickers away in ONE SHOW :|) and I even got to stand next to someone who was awesomely lucky enough to win the fan club meet and greet with Evanescence before the show. She was so star struck and of course I was a bit jealous, but she won fair and square and seemed to be a pretty awesome chick so it was all cool in the end. We probably talked from the minute they let people in line to when the doors opened, as after the doors opened they separated men and woman and I don't think I ever really saw her in the crowd again after that.

Once inside I went straight to the stage and took the first opening I saw which was literally almost front row (as shown by my crappy cell phone pics I'll be uploading) and was a little towards the right of the stage. The way that worked out was pretty well actually, as I slowly got pushed towards the center during the length of the concert which meant by the time Evanescence came on I had truly incredible seats..but of course that comes later, I haven't even talked about Finger Eleven yet! :D

All I have to say about them is I love those guys! Finger Eleven were surprisingly amazing considering the fact that I really had not listened to them that much at all before this show. I had heard "One Thing" and "Paralyzer" before that time but aside from that I had not really heard anything else. It did kind of lead to a disadvantage when they played cause I didn't have anything I could recognize and sing along with (aside from the singles) but I was so impressed by the quality of the show they put on that I plan to buy their newest CD the next time I make my way out to the store. It was impressive cause both their drummer and their guitarist were borderline insane. The drummer kept making funny faces and occasionally kissed his drum sticks, chewing on them and giving goofy stares to the crowd..sometimes standing still a few seconds before flipping out and going wild on the drums. He was DEAD ON and sounded great, and so did their guitarist (who with all due respect for him, most likely escaped from an insane ward). The guy thrashed around on stage, flinging his guitar around his neck and slamming the strings which lead to him breaking a guitar or two every song. It was so out of hand after a while that we started to count how many guitars he was given and believe it or not it got up to 5-6. This guy just kept shredding strings and at one time he played the guitar so rough his pick flew out of his hands which led to him using his FINGERS as the pick. Normally this would lead to bloody fingers but this guy didn't care, he was having quite a time playing up there and honestly so was I. I was actually sad to see their set end but they saved Paralyzer for last which had the entire crowd singing along and my dad going nuts as he loves that song to pieces. He kept chanting for the song and once the show was over they retreated to the back of the stage and unfortunately did not get the chance to play any encores.

Afterwards that's when things started to get ugly. There was this one girl in the crowd who just couldn't get the drift not to push and try to force people out of the way. People kept yelling at her to stop causing a scene and when Chevelle took the stage she took matters into her own hands. I think it was when they played Send The Pain Below that a small fight broke out during the song. The crowd was getting pushed around and Pete even came to the end of the stage, staring with a confused look on face as to what was going on. I think he kind of winked to the security guard and gestured with a nod cause soon they all rushed over and grabbed the girl who was causing the fight and tossed her out. Apparently, to get in front she ripped off some awesome kid's glasses and threw them to the ground and someone who saw this started pushing her and eventually the instigator got thrown out. I couldn't believe that someone could be that cold or thoughtless but it's Reading people for you and that's why I'm actually having second thoughts about attending the MCR show. Reading crowds are ugly and I'm thinking they might be overboard at that show. BUT ANYWAYS! Chevelle was awesome, their bass was really hard and certain songs kept punching your chest because they played their music so loud. THE DRUMMER HAD A PICTURE OF BRITNEY SPEARS WITH A SHAVED HEAD ON HIS BASS DRUM LOL! They really didn't play anything from Vena Sera but they played all my favorites (which embarrassingly are the singles but shush)..I got a clip of them performing "The Red" from my cell phone and Pete looked a little different than I what I pictured him as. He always used to have spikey hair but now he has his hair down and messed up on his face (not quite an emo look but styled that way) so I thought it was another band at first, but of course it was t3h Chevelle. They were good, sounded like on record but the audio wasn't mixed right. The instruments were louder than Pete so while it sounded good, on the singles, the crowd completely drowned him out. Either way, he kept yelling at the crowd to be louder so by the time they got off my ears were already aching and oh lord did I ever feel sore.

PART TWO: THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR
Once they got off stage, Evanescence took a little while to to get on but there was this huge black and white striped curtain that hung there with a clip in the middle (think Beetlejuice when imagining the design). Of course, someone behind my dad felt the need to keep pushing hard against him so all it took was a convieniently placed elbow (*whistles*) and they got the picture. The girl (she was behind my dad and sis) started yelling and trying to start drama and finally (being immature) decided to take my dad's hat off his head to 'see if he was bald' cause he was 'an old guy' which set him off. He then (in his best lying tone) said "look miss, I'm undercover security. They have me planted here to watch for cameras and fights. Now do you want to watch the Evanescence concert or not? I'll get you thrown out." her boyfriend then stepped in the middle and was like "no, we're cool! we're cool!" which caused them to leave my dad alone for the rest of the night. Basically my dad's amazing and a good person to be around in order to avoid rowdy crowds.

After a little longer wait, Amy started singing and the curtain opened up (it had to be over 100 feet tall) and she was pulling on the rope while walking out, revealing the whole band behind her. Let me tell you something...however good she was at the Electric Factory show, last night's show blew it out of the water in every way, shape and form. It was so amazing to see her basically hit every note on the album as if it was nothing, but still gasp for air occasionally which proved to the haters that she is all real and doesn't lipsynch (Ev fans know she doesnt but you got haters), she was flawless and so were John, Tim, Terry, and Rocky. The setlist they played was rather different to what they played at the last show I went to, and they even closed the show with Your Star which surprised me because I wasn't expecting that, there was even one part during The Only One where I was pointing towards Amy and she (at least the people aside of me thought so) pointed directly in my direction at me while smiling and singing the song. It was kinda a surreal moment, and its little things like that which make you feel as if you really are connecting with the band, which is exactly what the band did that night. Amy seemed to really be enjoying herself and she would've occasionally crack off jokes to the crowd and talk to them like they were all her best buds. I think the biggest surprise of the night was during Lithium, when suddenly out of nowhere FAKE SNOW started to be released from the ceiling. It was such a magical moment to have the snow falling in slow motion on all of us, our hair and clothes being covered in it as the rate of snow got higher and higher as the intensity of the song grew. Eventually it was almost like a blizzard which added so much to the song. A word of advice to future Ev concertgoers however: Don't taste the snow. It aint real and it tastes HORRIBLE! These special effects, in combination with the fantastic light show and crowd participate gave such a great atmosphere and if it wasn't for a few rowdy people (who were from Reading and therefore should be ashamed of themselves) gave Evanescence one first class show and in my opinion, allowed them to provide a show I would've gladly paid twice the ticket price for to see as for 37(?) a ticket it was an unbelievable deal. Great news is? That same chick dived for a guitar pick later that night and got pwnt hard by the crowd (LOL), shows that sometimes its a better idea to play nice eh? *Grin*

After the concert came to a close, I felt myself unable to walk and it was crazy how much my stomach and body hurt (and still hurts) and how loud my ears were ringing for hours afterward. I can't believe I even had the energy to make it through to work today, but after experiencing Evanescence for now the second time in concert, I can tell you I'd gladly do it again if I had the chance. Evanescence brought down the house last night, and it's nights like last night that make me proud to be an Evanescence fan!

Fin.

Reading has ALOT to be desired. Sidewalk police, anyone? pfft... all and all... it was KILLER. My poor kids..were so beat up from the feet up by the time we left at like midnight. They're still at home in bed, as we speak. Me however, I had to drag my behind to work. But I would get up and do it alll over again. Hey Tracee... loved the shirt! For all of us... Reading aside.... I think I could tell... it was a darn good night. Remind me to park my behind on a folding chair on the corner next time. I'm guessing that's allowed, but a quarter of a butt cheek isn't. :D

Wooooow, what an outsider experience... the southamerican boy went completly alone to that city with no knowing of anything... I took a bus from Philly to Reading and then I spent 2 hours to get my hotel and then something to eat and went to the concert. The waiting was bored because I was alone, but thanks to the suport bands heheehe

Reading concert was killer, it was my first time to see them live and I hope to see them again in the future... setlist was perfect.

I took some shoots and a 30 sec video from My Inmortal (I wanted to film the full song but I couldn't) I was very scared of security guys.. they were taking off all bateries and even cameras (what's the point if you don't use flash?).

To be in a concert here in the US is very different from my country if you are in the floor section... here, nobody fainted, push you or hit you because of the crowd, it's too calm and you really can enjoy the concert.

Excellent show... bye!

I have to admit... Good Enough got to me a little last night... 32 year old man getting all sappy. But I thought she delivered it brilliantly and beautifully.

Really, that whole show was just killer. While I think, truthfully, Amy's vocals were a little stronger at the last Philly show, the show in general was hands down my favorite. I hope they come back again... just not Reading. God no. Never again. I wish they'd come here to Hershey... great venue and it's safe. :)

Glad to hear everyone else had a good time!!!!

PS - Only one thing would have made it a better show: LOSE CONTROL!

PPS - And am the only one who dreams of "Lies" or "Forever You" being snuck into a setlist?? :)

I liked the concert, but for some reason it didn't really blow me away. (Probally because my younger sister was being really annoying. If I do anything that she would classify as "cool", she pretty much taunts/mocks/snickers/yells at me until I stop. And to her, pumping your fist in the air while screaming to Going Under is cool. Erg, it was SO ANNOYING! I tried to ignore her but I'm pretty sensitive so that ruined my night. Theres no way shes coming to the next concert, she doesn't even like the band)

I wasn't on the floor, so that kind of sucked, I was pretty much The Only One(hehe) who was insane about Ev. It is still so clear in my mind, Amy coming out on stage opening with an explosive Sweet Sacrifice, I was going totally insane. She hit every note perfectly, it was so awesome. But I saw someone throw a water bottle at her! It hit her foot I think. Before she sang Lithium, someone near me got slugged in the face too. (Everyone looked at him and not at Amy). After the concert, I ran out to the tourbuses, I waited for a couple of hours, then my dad and uncle were getting pissed off and tired so we left, but I did get autographs from Terry and Tim, and my sister kissed Tim! She has a pic. Overall, it was an enjoyable night, but next time I have to go with you guys! Savvve meeeeeee! :D

I saw the water bottle too... Reading is known as a trashy place to see a concert, as witnessed last night.

I was off the floor and loved it. I had a very clear view of everything. I'm not a general admission guy though... I was on the side pumping my fist and doing all the typical 80s rock stuff... sort of out of place I guess...but I had a good time.... LOL.....

Ok, it's a day later and I'm still pretty much out of it. Forgive me if I miss any details.

Pre-Concert

My friend and I arrived in Reading at about 10:00 am. We pulled up at our hotel (The Wyndham Reading) and saw tour buses. They were coming and going to and from the venue all day. I think the band had stayed there the night before so that got us pretty excited. I'm not exactly sure why. Anyway, we checked in, walked around Reading for about 3 hours (found absolutely nothing to do), ate, returned to our hotel room and slept until about 3:00. (Lazy, aren't we?) We woke up and got ready to go wait. We couldn't be on the property before 6:00, but I was a Meet & Greet winner, so I had somewhat of an excuse to be there early. We waited until about 5:30 on benches across the street and I walked over the box office while my friend reserved our spot in line across the street from the venue. After about 20 minutes, me, a couple other winners from the fanclub (I completely spaced on their names, but very nice people), and like 20 other winners from radio stations were led into the venue, down a flight of steps, and into a room. Their tour manager and Ritchie came and told us how everything would happen. (Have your camera ready for the picture, don't ask them to sign a thousand different things, etc.) The band came in about 5 minutes later and started going down the line. I got The Open Door signed by everyone, (despite a faulty silver sharpie:mad: ..... Tim had to improvise). All of them were very pleasant and Amy, as per usual, was pretty talkative. I didn't say much to them besides thanks. I fail at being witty and if I started talking, I've would've undoubtedly made an ass out of myself... it's my way. Anyway, when they got to the end of the line, Ritchie started taking our cameras and everyone got a picture with the entire band. We exited through the doors we came in. My friend was saving a spot in line so me and the other winner from the Meet & Greet I talked to were saved from the back of the line. We didn't wait long. Most of it was filled with talk so it went fast. At around 7:00 they started letting people in. Security was VERY strict, so no cameras were allowed. We were, for the most part in front of the line, so we got in fast and ran to the stage.

Concert
After an hour, standing around doing nothing, Finger Eleven came on. I liked them, they put on a VERY good show. I, like many people only knew two of their songs ("Paralyzer" and "One Thing"), but I honestly got into the rest of their set as they played. They've got two VERY entertaining guitarists and a crazy-ass drummer. But I am damn sure Scott Anderson (vocalist) was on something crazy last night. Either way, it was entertaining.

Chevelle was next. I didn't get into these guys at all. I gave their first 2 songs a chance, but after that it all blended together and their set dragged on forever. Alot of people seemed to enjoy them though, so the crowd got into it, which is always a good thing.

And Evanescence. Holy Crap. They were awesome in Philadelphia in October, this show COMPLETELY blew it out of the water. I didn't stop moving or put my arms down once. The people around me were louder than the amplifiers, so at times I could barely hear Amy. She got so into their songs this time, it was nuts. I couldn't see Terry at all, so I don't know what he was like, but John, Tim and Rocky were great, as usual. John, for the most part, had that insane look on his face and was very enjoyable to watch. Plus, he's got those eyes... *fangirl moment* Tim was pretty mellow, up until Your Star. He freaked out at the end, making up for his lack of movement in other songs. And I just really love watching Rocky play. He has so much fun back there, and his facial expressions show it. He's awesome. Their whole set was phenomenal, but my highlights were Your Star (****ing awesome as a finale), Good Enough (Amy was flawless), All That I'm Living For (completely new respect for this song, it is amazing live), and Whisper (well, who doesn't love Whisper?). I actually hurt myself during Lacrymosa, and the new twist to Imaginary's bridge was fantastic. The show came to close and the band stepped off. John and Tim came out to chuck their picks in the crowd. My friend proceeded to tell John to get naked and then caught one of Tim's picks. I completely missed Rocky's drum sticks, but someone I had met earlier caught one. We exited the arena, used the restrooms, and bought shirts. I left the venue with my knees locked in the standing position, so I could hardly walk. We debated waiting for the band to come out but my friend was beyond dead at that point (her first Evanescence concert). And I did meet all of them just a couple of hours earlier. Next time, I'll be waiting though. To summarize, Evanescence rocked the **** out, and I can't wait for Family Vaules.

Amber, I thought I saw you! I was at the gate meeting with Terry and Tim, and I heard, 'Amber, take a pic!' or something like that, lol. ANd Tracee, I was talking t you, lol! I was the one who lived two hours away, whos dad was getting testy, lol.

Anyway, my expieriance. Long post.

PRE EVANESCENCE

I was texting people alll school before the concert started. Sue called me in the middle of class, lucky my phone was on vibrate, so I went to the lav, lol. Finally, when school ended, I ate a little, had a thirty minute map, and blasted Anywhere But Home downstairs to get psyched, and dressed up, put on makeup, lol, wnet insane. Then my dad and uncle picked me up, we drove two hours to Reading, I listened to my iPod at fist, but then my dad blasted the Open Door. We then parked, walked to the back of the venue and got in line. I noticed the tour buses on my way in (thank youuuuuuu Sue!!!!!), and made a mental note to go back later.

I found my seat (poohie! I wish I got to be in the General Admission area, lol), but the seat was good. I bought about three waters, last concert I was dieing of thirst the entire time, lol. Sooo then Finger Eleven came on. They were pretty awesome. CHevelle was next, and I reallllly liked them (omg lead singer! hawtness) He was really funny, and kept on cracking jokes. My sister was really into them, and recognized a few of their songs. AT the end, he's like, "Anyone thirsty? Free stuff!" He started throwing water and drumsticks all over the audiance. "That one guy, sitting on that chick's shoulders', lol.

EVANESCENCE!!!

Me and my sisters were sitting dowm, waiting for Ev. to go on. We were debating on what they would open up with. I thought Sweet Sacrifice, Weight of the World or Going Under, Lauren thought Call Me WHen You're Sober. THen the whole place dimmed, the audiance suddenly began screaming at the top of their lungs, and a split second later, the curtain dropped, and the whole band was there! Bright lights flashed all over the audiance, and it began.. 'It's true... we're all a little insane."

The audiance just erupted, and I was so happy to see Ev. again, it lifted me so much. I sang along to Sweet Sacrifice, but then after thirty seconds, people began to STAND STILL! I didn't get it! I expected a whole sea of people rocking out soo hard, but the people around me just kinda stood still, bobbing their heads. Me and a few other chicks (whoever you are, who rocked sooo hard in section 106 and 107, you're awesome!) just kept rocking out like nobody's business. After Weight of the World and Going Under, which were awesomly (sp?) performed, Amy began making jokes about touring in foreign countires. After that she continued playing. I loved the Only One, since that song holds so much meaning for me. I think, when you have your own special meaning for a song, and you hear Amy herself sing it to you, and you sing along, it can be so powerful and moving. Anyway, that was def. a highlight.

Before Lithium, a fight broke out around the back. From what I heard, somone wanted a panty shot of Amy and wanted to sell it on Ebay, then somehow got in a fight, and slugged a guy in the face! He ran out of the venue so fast too. People were pretty much watching teh fight around my section, but once Amy came back on stage with the piano, everyone went insane again. She cracked a joke, but I forget what she said. Lithium was beautifully done, the SNOW! Omg, I could have died. It resembled the song sooo beautifully and flawlessly, and Amy's lovely voice kept soaring, and I couldn't help but sing along, since Lithium is one of my favorite song. Afterwords, she threw out her towel and water bottle, which seemed to cause a small fight, cause she commented about it, lol.

She then performed harder rock songs like Whisper and Imaginary without taking a break (am I getting this right? The order of songs is hard to remember..). But then, oh god I could kill this person, somone THREW A WATER BOTTLE AT AMY! It hit her leg, she didn't react much, but I was a little erg! Whoever threw that was soooo disrespectfull. Then Amy did Bring Me to Life, and everyone began to rock out so hard! I was really happy, people were finally moving, I mostly fist pumped and a tiny bit of head banging, and when it was finished, I screamed so loud.

She finished up with Lacrymosa, but before that, people began leaving! What's the point? The Reading audiance consisted of mostly assholes in my opinon. Lacrymosa was awesome, but then when they left, I haddd to encore. A lot of people were leaving (who hasn't heard of an encore?), and I whipped out my cell, waving it in the air, screaming for Evanescence. When the band came back, everyone erupted. She sat at the piano, and said she'd do one more song. I already knew what it was going to be when she said, "But you have to sing along." Everyone did sing along, and it was so beautiful! All these people singing one beautiful song in unity, and that being one of my faorite songs, was probably one of the most moving expieriances of that night.

She then asked if she could do just oneee more song, lol, and did Your Star. Everyone rocked out verry hard, I kept screaming. WHen they left for good, it was quite emotional, since, to me, Ev. concerts are also a kind of spiritual therapy for me and not just a kick ass concert.

POST EVANESCENCE

After the concert, I automatically thought of the tour buses. I knew where they were, so my sisters and I ran out to the back of the venue. I looked around the huge fence, trying to find out where to go, and saw a small group of fans waiting at te opening of the gate. Lauren was upset because the security took away her $40 chain, but I grabbed her hand and dragged her along to the fence lol (don't bring your little sisters to ev concerts! jkjkjk, haha, at least mine). I waited with a group of people and struck up a convo with a few people waiting there. One of them worked there, and my stupid sis asked if you could meet the band here, and all three security guards screamed NO! all at the same time. THe lie was sooo fake, lol, but some people actually bought it and left. I know Ev. would only want to go out to a calm crowds, so we waited, and waited, for all the crazy fans to disperse.

Then I caught sight of Tim, and we called him over. He immedeatly began signing autographs. I was still waiting to catch sight of Amy, but then went over to Tim and asked for a pic. I gave my phone to a guy, and Tim and I stood next to eachother. He was funny, people thought we were trying to kiss in the pic, It was great, lol, and then he signed my jeans. Later, wen my sisters wanted their sheet tickets signed, I gave him mine, which was all rippy and torn, lol! He's like, "What did you do to it?!?" and signed it anyway. It was hillarious.

We caught sight of Amy, and I think Beth, scurrying to the tour bus. Amy was hiding under a black sweater and long skirt, rushing to the bus. Then Terry came out with Richie about thirty minutes later with a basketball, Terry signed my ticked and my sister's shoes. I told him he was awesome tonight, and he said thanks. THen my water bottle got run over by a truck, lol.

But we were still waiting for Amy, waiting at least an hour. Richie told us she wasn't feeling well and was lieing down, and a few girls asked if he could take something to her to sign, but he said no. Someone else told us about a stalker she had, and was nervous about going out. My dad was getting testy, and at 1:00, we left. I know that thirty minutes later, Ev. left anyway,

SO....

The concert was a wonderful expieriance! On the way home I listened to your star on my iPod, and actually couldn't see the stars! SOB! Oh well, lol. But I loved it, it's still replaying over and over in my head, and I couldn't concentrate in school, and I kept falling asleep! But, over all, it was amazing!

Tracee, I need to ask you a question. Do you have a sister and was your sister the one who went after a drumstick, and was fighting with some guy and the security guards came and tackled her to the ground at the end of the concert?

You look almost...too familiar.

Ok ya'll sorry this is a little late. The network at work was acting up. Derek, you were near me dude! I remember the chick that pulled the guy's glasses off... she had an olive like color jacket on, hair cut really short to the head and covered in about a gallon of gel. The security guards were telling her to come with them, or she was gone. heh... I was right in front of where Amy's piano came out (at the railing of course) and my kids were on my left.

Traceee, it was my pleasure, and a pleasure meeting you. Loved the shirt, by the way! Oh Enquiring minds want to know, did the guy who was with Amber get the taped camera in, or did security make him remove tons of leg hair to get the camera into the trash? heh

Yesterday was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Omg, to go through and list everything about yesterday, I would need 4 posts to explain it all. I'll get it together enough to type it out..but I'm still amped, but exhausted as heck. heh

Ixi.. you are very welcome. And I think there is some truth to the stalker person. There was a guy, when we were gathered across the street from the Sovereign Center, telling us about all the tour buses (which we already knew about) but he was telling us who was in which bus (creepy, right?) But then he was showing the motorcycle he was riding, and talking about how he drove thousands of miles to see her. Thinkin Stalker? Hmmm right... BUT.. it got creepier. He knew exactly which hotel she was in (he was staying there too) knew her comings and goings (when she was at the hotel, when she was at a radio show?) We had a name for him, Stalker Boy, and I think he began to notice how we felt about him, because each time he'd come back and try to brag his "knowledge" we paid little to no attention to it..

GO US!

yeah that definitely sounds like the stalker. i dont know if thats the same guy i saw. but i figured it was probably between this girl who was like really obsessed and really annoying. banging on the tour bus and yelling at the top of her lungs and trying to climb over the fence or this one guy who was saying some weird and disturbing things. i dont wanna repeat in case he would be on here but it was pretty disturbing. but thats really sad that she has to be treated like that. and he ruined everyone chances of meeting her.

That reminds me of the last Ev. Concert I went to in Washing DC. It was at Constitution Hall and that guy who jumped on stage.

I don't think I could ever do touring and stuff for the fear of people acting like that..

Makes me think of the rare cases where people are so obsessed they'd kill that person..

*shudders*

Anyone who can do what they've do deserves so much respect.

But it's the unfortunate. Yes it's sad for Amy, I'll say that. But here's the thing, she has the best security that she can get, and can say whether she meets people or not. Many many women, aren't so lucky. They get stalked, and get told continuously by law enforcement that there is nothing they can do, until the stalker tries to harm them, breaks into their house/car/office, or destroy's property, which is quite sad.

Richie is amazing. He gave each of my daughter's guitar picks...MAD KUDOS to ya brother! They don't remember alot of things..but they remember that.

After seeing the band at Philly for the first time, we were totally insane, yet disappointed that it would be awhile till we could see them again. When we found out they were coming to our home town of Reading just 5 months later we went nuts.

Being a veteran of 35 years of concerts, just turning 50 I've seen them all. While things have changed, like back then we held matches or lighters, today it's cell phone cameras. We got away with open partying, today it's done en masse prior to arrival. Cameras were allowed and we never got searched, today well you get the picture. But one thing that has not changed over the years is who rocks and who doesn't. And EV ROCKS!!!!

I thought Philly was great. But to see improvement from such a good performance as in Philly was unreal. The band is truly over the transition stage of new members for sure. The flow of each member with each other on stage was perfect. The rising piano was great, the snow was awesome and felt great. The lighting is stepping up and was super. The whole set moved really smooth.

But the sound was just incredible. All the songs were tight and the band matched Amy's superb talent all the way, which is hard to do cause she is the best. The small stage in Philly restricted the band but they proved they can handle the big stage with ease. I've seen the greats from Pink Floyd to Black Sabbath, Doobie Brothers to Tom Petty, Elvis to the Rolling Stones I'm telling you that EV is here to stay. Good Luck in Europe, a "Live From Europe" CD??? Just wishing!

P.S. Oh yeah... PLEASE release "All that I'm living for" as a single and it will go down as a classic. It's different, has awesome guitar riffs, change of pace, lyrics that stick in your head, the whole 9 yards. I felt the song everyone cut loose on the most last night was that one. Song is still in my head, was for 5 months after Philly, now it's probably permantly etched in my brain.

yeah. i dont think i could either. there are some really weird and sick people out there. i just dont understand why they want to hurt or kill someone they supposedly love.

Because, it's not love, in the normal sense of the word. They think beyond the scope of admiration. They believe that for instance when a famous person looks at a camera, they are looking directly at them. They think the only two people alive, are themselves and their obsession, the person they're stalking. They have no concept of fact or fiction, fact or reality. If they're obsession starts dating someone, they feel real jealousy. They feel betrayed. Like all the "love" they say they've given has been cast aside. I can't go into this anymore, it's almost sickening. But I'm hoping you get my point.

Why do people become that obsessed? I must say I am infact obsessed with the whole band that I would check evthreads 100's of times a day, listen to their music almost everyday, know all the new news, and I would think what it would be like meeting them... But I wouldn't want to do anything to harm them, or make them so they're mine. I do want to meet them, and just confess my undying love about their music and how much talent they have, but that's really it. Overall, I like to be obsessed with things, it makes life more thrilling - I think?

Edit: Oh, this reminds me... Even though this is off topic... I saw John on his cell phone out in the open on the sidewalk just talking... It looked so strange just seeing him out in the open. No one was around him either. I didn't want to bother him though because just pulling up to him in a car and talking to him would kind of be weird lol.

But you know where the line to be crossed is, and wouldn't dare cross it. In their world, there is NO line. Nothing is off limits to them. This person, their obsession, is theirs and theirs alone. They fathom no right and wrong, because they will "make this person love them" period.

LOL, The great duct tape escapade of 2007 was a smashing success, he passed the patdown/up with flying colors. We even told Tim about it after the show and he was like, "That's ingenuity!" (Or something like that) Haha.

I couldn't even write a review, because the whole show was one overwhelming blur of emotion and experience and beauty and energy...I get transported to another world, I'm completely captivated by the moment.

I was watching the "Anywhere But Home" DVD today (p.s. I would love to go play "putt-putt" with Amy in prom dresses, lol) while framing my goodies from last night, and the clip came on of that large guy rushing the stage and jumping all over Amy until he was swept away, arms flailing everywhere. I never realized that she actually did scream! The first time I saw them in Pittsburgh some guy crowd-surfed his way to the stage and went to grab at her. It's such a shame, but she is indeed a strong woman. That's for sure.

That's my Jeff...didn't even listen to Evanescence, but was willing to sneak a 90 dollar camera into a venue. I am happy to say that he was at track today bragging to everyone about how amazing Evanescence is and how cool the band members are. All the kids were like "woah, so you go to your first concert...sneak in a camera, get front row seats, and then have a little chat with the band?!?!" Now they're all going to go buy Fallen because I said so. I'm stopping by tomorrow to do a little promo thingy. Lol, it was actually Jeff's idea, because they use the stadiums sound system to play music while they work out. Sooooo, because Jeff is the track coach I just slip him the Lithium track I made, and boom, I'll be singing for about 40 people tomorrow. The only not cool thing is that I don't get to come out of the box because the mic won't go very far and when you take that one mic out of the little room everything starts to get really loud.
I'm excited! We got the whole Westminster High track team to support Evanescence! Well, as long as I can represent tomorrow.....

The PA concert was so awesome! How great were the lights for the show? They were really cool.. the crowd was wierd though at times it was crazy, there were fights and I couldnt move and then also it was really melow.. like I was more squished during Chevelle then Ev (hey I'm not complaining I had plenty of room to rock out) Also I was third row in front of Terri and the people around me barely knew the words to the songs and gave me wierd looks whenever I would throw my hand up or anything..like comeon get into the music! I ignored them and rocked out in spite of them =) The band has great stage presence and I love how Amy gets so into the music. The music was amazeing and I caught Terri's pic which has a red Ev E on it and 'Terri Balsamo' on the back! It is now my new favorite necklace haha The concert was great and I cant wait for Family Values \m/

p.s- I understand if you wanna sneak a camera in and take a few pics but the girl in front of me whipped out her camera EVERY time AL would come to our side of the stage, she knew and eventually just stopped coming.. also Richie told her to put it away THREE times I mean COMEON it totally ruined Lacrymosa for me cause she was being yellled at

lol I complained alot but the concert was great, Ev rules!

This was my first Ev concert and it was amazing!!!!!

My friends Danielle and Sam came with me and we had so much fun. We were trying to figure out how to sneak Danielle's camera in before the concert. Danielle ending up putting it down her pants and it worked! lol. I thought Finger Eleven was very very good! Chevelle was okay..when Evanescence came on i swear i almost died! it still seems like a dream to me. Danielle took all these amazing pictures and got 4 videos..which we will probably post on myspace or youtube. I dont' have a camera phone so i just recorded 3 songs on my phone which actually I can hear Amy quite well for being on the floor and having people yelling all around me. The videos on Danielles camera have amazing sound quality!!

During The Only One we all had our phones up recording the song and right before the last chorus i guess Amy threw water out in the audience and it got all over our phones and it was halarious cause on my recording you can hear all of us screaming and sam going "oh my phone!" ha!

Also during Good Enough i think it was right before the start of the first verse all three of us screamed really loud "We love you Amy Lee!!!" we wanted it to be loud so we waited for everyone to get quiet hehe. We were also trying to annoy this guy in front of us because he was standing beside us the whole show then randomly pushed in front of us right before Ev came on and it was hard to see. Plus he was just being a jerk to us. We did really annoy him tho..it was funny

I wasn't allowed to stay and meet the band cause my dad wanted to get home. It was about midnight by the time we left so my friends and i all slept the whole way home while quietly listening to The Open Door. When we got home and pulled in the garage Sam popped up her head and said "I'm hungry...I want a hot dog" so what did we do? We went in and had hot dogs at 1:30 in the morning! haha We stayed up until 2:30 talking about the concert then finally went to bed.

To sum it up the concert was amazing! I am definatly gonna go to another one. Hopefully they're come to Hershey next time XD

:) i'm happy you had a great time haha - yeah i was also screaming in the beginning of good enough did you hear me.. a lot of people were quiet =-o

See, I wanted to meet them but leaving around 130AM wouldn't have worked with me having work the next day. Now if this was a Tuesday (I have off on Wed)..that would've been excellent.

I concur completely. It would have been awesome for the girls, who had a fabulous time. Did you see further back where I said you were near me, Derek?

laughs.. it was hard to miss me... however, I'm sure in the sea of people, that's possible. Well, I'm glad you got your dad converted, and that he had a good time as well. I'm thinking of sitting out the BBQ thing MMR is doing. I have such a HUGE aversion to BuckCherry. They have to to be one of the worst bands to come out of well... hitsville, and very bad hits at that. LOL

NOT at all. I cringe everytime I hear that song. Lyrically, it's crap. Musically, Buckcherry is crap. My 11 year old can write a song better than that. heh

Well honestly, the girl my dad was fighting with wore dark eye makeup and had long black hair like you did. But you're not that girl obviously? Haha I'd think not cause you wouldn't be supporting the way I was painting you if you were lol.

I don't know..he was fighting with some black haired chick and I wish I knew who she was so I could cuss her out for ruining the Chevelle set for a lot of people.

But wait, did you later get in front of me towards like lithium? There was this black haired chick who I kept accidentally hitting with my arm when I did the \m/'s, she was wearing like a white tank I believe. That you?

yeah when Chevelle was on, I got pretty pissed cause i got beer thrown at me, and some pretty violent kids hit up against me. but it was all so worth it! :)

But nahh I was wearing a blank ev -tee. so that wasn't meee.

Oh good, yeah that gawthed out chick was wearing some weird red and black trenchcoat so definitely not you then.

And yeah I actually think the ones causing the issues weren't 25. The 25 year olds were like sneaking beer in for minors, and whoever those minors were..they could NOT hold their liquor worth a damn.

Good to see you're innocent *love*. I wouldn't know how to act if I met those clowns on an Ev message board. Probably would tell them off lol.

Where was Cloud Nine? I was quite disappointed to not see it performed at either one of my shows.

Someone had to have recorded this concert. I got a really good quality bootleg of the Electric Factory concert, so I know someone had to have done this one.

Please release it if you have one!

I'm not sure, but people always post vids from concerts anyway.

Did you guys know that at another concert, Amy came out and sang "One Thing" with Finger Eleven?
