Chevelle (http://www.chevelleinc.com/) and Finger Eleven (http://www.fingereleven.com/) will join Evanescence on this tour.

Evanescence is also planning a third U.S. leg which will bring the band to arenas in major markets in the late spring/early summer.

Sweet maybe we'll see you there. We'll be there with our parents, (hehe they like the band too, her mom and mine.) My friend is a shorty and Im pretty tall with curly long hair. Were planing on getting there sometime around 10-11 depending on the show time.

This is the closest one to me this time around, but I won't be able to make the 5 or so hour drive. That stinks, because I really like Chevelle and Finger Eleven also!!! Gahh.... Hey Iowa, wanna give oen of your tour stops to Wisconsin or Illinois? lol

Hi everyone,
I am planning on attending the Cedar Rapids concert and was wondering whether I could get some advice. I guess a list might be easiest to follow:

1- What is the best way to get a good spot near the stage? What ticket should I buy (General Admission)?
2- Which concert do you expect to be "better"? Pros/Cons of Cedar Rapids vs. Council Bluffs
3- What time do you think I would need to show up to get a good spot?
4- Where did you all buy your tickets?

Thanks a bunch and hopefully I'll see you all there.

1.A. Get there early. B. They only offer GA (general admisson)
2. Cant really answer that for you as im not familliar with the venues at such
3.Considering it is GA my friend and I are getting there at about 10 am ish

well this looks like my best option. i'm still trying to figure it all out cuz i have a road trip from the 16th-21st so...$$ will be tight and getting off work as well. if this show doesn't work out then i'll hvae to wait for the

My ticket arrived! I also received an email telling me to activate my evclub membership, although I dont remember ever choosing that option. I'll have to wait till my credit card's website is back up to see if I was billed for it.

Here's a question to everyone:

What are the top 3 things you should bring with to help get through the hours of line camping?

I would say:
1- Friends, bring them or make them
2- Snacks
3- Something to sit on

I live in IL, and I might be going to the U.S cellular center in cedar rapids iowa.. I'm sooooooooo excited. It would be my first concert everrr!! The only problem I have is getting a ride., although I am hopeful my friends parents change their mine. Its gonna be so cool screaming all the 4 hours up there listening to TOD a thousand times, along with fallen.. etc. I'm just soooo excited. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect, what not to bring, what to bring,you know. I wanted bring a camera.. to photograph amy. and my T lOD cd so she could autograph and maybe if I get lucky I get to give her a hug. I would die if I got to hug amy lee. Seriously. :cool:

god finally they are coming to my state. im so frikin excited got my ticket way long ago in january. its going to rock. gahh !!!!! i saw them in minnasota october 15 2006 for the first time..and that was just awesome cause it was the small venue tour and i was right there in front. my dream came true that day. cant wait for it march 23

Will there really be that many people waiting? I don't think I can get there any earlier than say.. Noon on friday, but that's if all goes well. I'd say closer to 3-ish maybe... Will I get stuck with crap seats?! Ugh.... Now I feel sick.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN!!!

If anyone wants to buy my two tickets off me just send me an email. i was planning to go but recently got a hernia!!! i have to get surgery the week of the show and i doubt getting thrown around in a crowd is part of my recovery.

1 ticket for $30 or both for $50

i paid $93 at ticket master for both. i figure some of my money should go to amy. this was going to be my 8th time seeing them in concert :(

Yes, but registration through EvClub closed a week or so ago. Try looking to your local radio stations to see if they have any open slots?

Probably early in the morning. I believe I am driving to Des Moines to meet up with the other two, and they are driving us all out to Cedar Rapids.

It's like a 3 or 4 hour drive down to DM, then like 1 1/2-2hours to CR. O_O

Cool...I was planning on arriving there at noon. My awesome professor scheduled me and my group for a midsemester presentation at 2:30pm! My attempts to reschedule have failed...So I'll be leaving at 3:15 at the earliest :no:

And ya...Cedar rapids is 4.5 hrs away from the Twin Cities. *sigh*

Wow they were amazing last night, i cant give a good report because im not really alive yet but I will later. They were INCREDIBLE, Amy was flawless, and the crowd was freaking insane. One chic passed out and the security guard and to dive in and get her because she almost got trampled. Then this huge fight broke out and they were beating the poop out of eachother.
Amy threw her towel out and the were literally tearing eachother apart to get it and she was like " Woah, we've got the tornadoe of death of here"

I was on the floor but had an 11 year old with me, and right around when people started getting pushy and extremely drunk right around when chevelle came on we went and found seats. I may have been fine but shes about 4'2 and weighs maybe 70 pounds and didnt want her getting hurt. Our seats were awesome and you could see everything.

All in all it was...cant even explain how awesome. Going back this summer on the 2nd leg of the tour most definetly (that is if they do it this summer)

wow i am shocked. this was my first concert ever so i'm in awe already but dang finger eleven came out great chevell was alright but evanescence was a number 20 on the scale of 1 to 10. the only thing that shocked me was her talking voice was higher and funner then i expected which made me laugh a little but other then that she was awesome and so was every one else. Plus i dont think there was a bad seat in the house.

Last night was probably the best night of my life!!! I got to hang out with the band, got tons of freebies, and a personal happy birthday from Amy!! Oh man...I had to drive three hours and wait about six to see the band but, I got in to see sound check and they were all amazing, the F.O.H. manager is the coolest and I loved hanging out with all the techs, the guys and Amy are prolly some of the coolest/sweetest people I have ever met, and there was a tornado of death. (LOL) I gave Amy and all the guys some free stuff from Audiotechnica so, Amy gave me a set list and a hug, Rocky gave me a drum stick, Terry gave me a pick, I got VIP stickers and some headphones from the techs, I got a picture with the whole band, and I got them all to autograph my journal.

And man was that show amazing. There is no human being on this planet that can sing like Amy Lee. Except perhaps, Amy Lee of course. :D Best night of my life hands down and I have the tour t-shirt to prove it!

Actually, my dad works for Full Compass (a branch of Auditechnica) so we were there to see the concert and give swag to the band, so he made a deal that I could hang out with them and meet them because they also happen to be my favorite band.

Some really good friends of mine went, they said it was very good. They were right in front for Ev. I had to work and decided I really should do that instead of go to the show. It was a hard choice to make, but we needed the money.

It's good to hear she was so spot on, almost every review I've read from other people always say she was off somewhere.

I went and it was a swell time. Me and three of my friends got there around 10 AM and were the first people in line. I saw all their tour buses but no sign of any band member. We met some people in line and became great pals. We were first in line so we got right up in front of the barrier. We were pretty much in the middle except a little to the left. I wanted to be in the middle of where Amy and John would be. Richie (Amy's bodyguard) was standing in front of me the whole time mostly and he gave me lots of water and gum. We joked around and stuff so that was cool...

I tried to get the band to autograph my new green chucks but I only got John, Terry, and Tim to sign. I didn't see Rocky and Amy came out and signed a line of people then left. I was pretty disapointed. Pictures weren't allowed or anything. So that kind blew hardcore.

O well, great show though. I was pretty much mezmorized. I think my ribcage it bruised from all the pushing though. Damn.

Edit: Holy crap, I forgot to mention we got our pics taken with John. That was very exciting. Its on a disposable camera so I can't get them developed yet.

WOW. Those are some of the most amazing pictures I have ever seen. Were you the guy with the press pass that I saw I am assuming? I was right up front I remember a camera guy with an Otep bag with him takeing pictures. That is the only assumption I can make cause the pictures are that good. They are amazing. Kudos.

I was right up front behind the barrier in the middle and a tid bit to the left.

we also went across the street to BRICKS and hung out with Terry, Tim and the guys in Finger Eleven aftetr the show! That was cool :)
