In April, Evanescence will be in Argentina in the Festival "Quilmes Rock 2007" with Aerosmith, Placebo, Keane, Velvet Revolver and others. The day that Ev is going to play isn't confirmed yet but the festival will be the 12, 13, 14, and 15 of April.

In other news, VELVET REVOLVER fan site Velvet-Revolver.com (http://www.belowempty.com/vr/index.php)reports that VELVET REVOLVER will perform at the Quilmes Rock 2007 Festival, which is set to be held April 12-15 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Other artists that are expected to appear include AEROSMITH, PLACEBO, EVANESCENCE, AUDIOSLAVE, KEANE, LAS PELOTAS and LOS RATONES PARANOICOS. There are also reports that VELVET REVOLVER will add a second performance in Bogotá, Colombia on April 18. It should be noted, however, that none of the dates have been posted on the band's official site yet and should therefore be considered to be unconfirmed.

It's still not confirmed. I'm gonna call Ticketek right now and I'll ask what's up with the supposed Evanescence's concert @ the Quilmes Rock Festival, here in Buenos Aires.

Tickets are for sale since yesterday but @ ticketek.com.ar (http://ticketek.com.ar)there's no news about Evans =/ No one mentions them, only the fans are commenting over there asking for some confirmation or at least, some news about it.

Yup, and that's what Ticketek said to a friend of mine who called them days ago. They told her that is possible that "Evanescence could make a concert by themselves". That would be freakin amazing.
By the way, now on evanescence.com/tour says that they'll perform in here on April 14.
And recently, MTV News said that it's confirmed that Evans will be in Buenos Aires next Ap. 14

April 1st: Placebo
April 12nd: Divididos, Catupecu Machu, Las Pelotas, Attaque 77.
April 13rd: Keane, Babasonicos, other artists to confirm
April 14th: Los Piojos, Intoxicados, El Tri, other artists to confirm*
April 15th: Aerosmith, Velvet Revolver, Ratones Paranoicos, other artist/s to confirm.

So, there´s still a chance for Evanescence to appear.

If eva is going to play on Argentina, it seems to be on the 14th of april, as it says on the eva's page, but as I saw on ticketek page, the international artists has the ticket price very expensive (as Aerosmith an velvet and Keane) so, what do I have to do?? becouse If I follow my Hunch, I have to buy the most expensive ticket, but, the most expensive is on April 13th, and If I follow what eva's page says, I have to buy ticket from April 14th, but eva's music isn't the same as Los piojos and Intoxicados, so I don't know what to do =(

Who would pay that price, for a band that won't be the main one? knowing that being a national band their tickets on another show are obviously much cheaper?), Velvet Revolver and Aerosmith.

oh, I thought that there was a bigger difference on the prices... but thinking it well, if I go to the platea alta, I have to be even earlier. If I go to campo I can go much near to the stage when the show starts... Also it's my first concert on a stadium, with "campo" (I went to Epica on December 05 but it was in a theatre) so River scares me a bit first. But I thought it better and I want to go to campo finally ^^ /m/
but considering the differences and stuff... I think I'll buy the campo tickets finally :)

Hello everyone here! I'm here to know closer about evanescence coming for the festival. As reading this I became a bit confused on the date, pero si no me equivoco es para el 15 al final? They better not be lying because I may reeally pay only for them.

DAMMIT I really wanted Keane to be there the same day too. I really like that band too but I definitely won't go twice on this one.

And I'm so happy that there's a chance that they will make a show!!!!!!! I won't feed my hopes too much, but it's just soooo what I've been looking forward to!!!!!!! Can't possibly wait.

And people who insult this kind of music is worthless and stupid. People who insult every kind of music I think. I mean, you can critizise, but man, have some brains! I really hope it doesn't turn too violent there (my 15 year old eyes aren't just used!!).

Anyway, I'm very happy to be here. I'll keep posting around. Although I must confess I'm not a veeeeeery faithful Evanescence fan. I only have the album FALLEN and I've been wanting to buy the rest but never got around to do so. Anywho, Amy is THE voice. Oh my God if I could sing like her I'd be the happiest person alive! That vocal technique!! Obviously people who think she can't sing is by far deaf.
I kinda went on a rant there, I'm sorry. This is a very long post...

One of the best plateas medias, I'm a little near to the stage... It costed me a lot of money =/ Yeah, one of the most expensive tickets it is. But I'm completely happy now...
I wanted campo but my dad didn't give me the permission to go days before the concert to stand in line just to obtain a good place in the campo ¬¬

And about the gig, I think I'm going, I've already got a friend who's willing to take me there. Only I just heard the money it costs. OUCH! But well... I think I'll do it. I might be probably taking the mp3 too, I gotta delete everything I got as it's 98% full (I love music, didn't I tell ya??), and I'll probably take the camera, too. Hahahaha, I've been laughing all along with the touching bands. I was gonna point it out but you seemed to be faster. Well the camera subject's over but maybe you're right. I took it to the Avril Lavigne's concert and they didn't do anything but now that you say so.

Oh, and one of my colleagues told me that Aerosmith looks like just a silly band with silly singles that are all alike but that they're amazing live. I didn't think I'd like it but I watched some of their lives and they're pretty cool. Of course Evanescence will take all my attention. I'm afraid they WILL HAVE to play singles, as it's a festival in which mostly popular music is played and they'll need to be recognized right? At least that's how I see it. So I'm pretty sure Bring Me To Life will have to be played. I'm dying to hear Lithium live, but I don't know if it will be possible. I love good Enough too, but I don't know if they'll be able to play it.

And Aerosmith, a silly band? Tell your friend to go learn something about music. Aerosmith is a en extremely talented band, and Steven Tyler is one of the best singers ever. And I'm not even a big Aero fan, but being in one of their concerts is an honour to me. I can't wait.

I have to agree. I dont like VR at all, but though they may not be so well known, they have something, like a kind of "reputation" in the rock environment. Evanescence instead, is a band that is really hated by some people. Besides, I read in metalycarnaval blog thing, that Ev will play less than VR and Aero... so.... I guess that's what'll happen

First one is 'Eat the Rich', by Aerosmith; and the other one is BMTL. xD Yeah, it confuses me! Anyway the point is that we all are gonna see Ev. I'm soooooo happy for that! I have one general admission ticket for April 15th, but you will have to meet me at 2pm the day of the show to get in early. I am coming from San Diego, so I have to find the meeting place as well to get my reserved seat.

Ok, well... hmm are you saying Meet & Greet=Autograph signing? Because that's not a Meet & Greet (at all, in my opinion).
What -I- always call "Meet & Greet" it's the access to the backstage thing and the opportunity to meet the band (but in the backstage, not the autograph signing xD).

Anyway... I don't know what I'll say in that case. I think it'll be everything so fast. So I'll give them the things to sign, say hi, I love you and anything that comes to my mind in that moment o_o xD I'll be so impressed so I don't think that my english will be understandable xD
