I just found out from WildInTheWind in another thread that if you go to vixy.net you can put in a youtube link and it'll rip the audio from it! So now you just have to find them on youtube. :) Sweet.

i think a member at evthreads has a myspace page who did CMWYS and it was a guy. i didnt like it very much, they had a mono-toned voice and when amy sings you feel what she is saying because her voice has such great expression in it. they SOUND like he's trying to express himself but its just not working good.

Yeah. Echo and The Bunnymen's cover is a lot more like Ev's instrumentally.

I don't remember reading anywhere that The Lost Boys was one of Amy's favorite movies, but if it is one of her's, then that's the second time Amy and I share a favorite movie. :D

Lol, somebody posted the "Another One Bites The Dust" and it reminded me of when I saw them in concert last, they couldn't get the piano to come out from where it was supposed to, so they randomly started playing "Sweet Home Alabama."

For some reason, I never bother listened to too many of the covers, I only just heard "Self-Esteem" and "Sex Type of Thing" for the first time yesterday, so I'm a bit slow. I'm listening to "Orestes" right now and I reallllly like it. But half of the stuff I'm seeing on here I have yet to hear, so I gotta check them out before I can really say which is my favorite.

But for now, I'm picking "Zero" and "Thoughtless." I like "People Are Strange" a lot, but I'm such a sucker for classic rock that I'm not sure how I feel in comparison to the original. I'd love to hear them do a studio version of it.

Orestes is an awesome cover, I think Amy's voice is the purest in that song, I love the ehco that the mic makes when she sings loud. I also love, The Fourth of July, that's a good song and cover all together.
