Sweet Sacrifice is everyone's favorite at my school. Personally, i love it myself. My favorite part is the "poor sweet, innocent thing, dry your eyes and testify" Its so powerful.

It's so difficult for me to pick a favorite Ev song, because I can honestly say I've never heard a single song by them that I didn't love. My list of favorites is half a mile long, but here goes:

Imaginary (used to be my theme song, back in my days of coping via escape from reality), Missing, Lithium (both of the above perfectly describe me when I'm depressed), The Only One, Anywhere, Lies, Eternal, Tourniquet, Whisper, The Last Song I'm Wasting On You, and Good Enough (although that one makes me cry right now).

EVANESCENCE ARE AMAZING. I cant get over how good The Open Door is, I just get so emotionally moved at songs like Cloud Nine and Lacrymosa. Well, actually I've been through a number of favs.

My first one was Bring Me To Life, it was the first Evanescence song I ever heard (I heard it in the movie Daredevil, no less)

Eventually, I instantly loved the song "Taking Over Me", then, I loved "Where Will You Go", then I went through my "Tourniquet" phase. Then, CMWYS, Then Going Under, then Everybody's Fool, then Anything For You, then "Lithium", then "Weight of The World", then "My Immortal",then Imaginary, Hello, Like You, Whisper (Fallen and 2002 version), missing, then (and still a bit) "The Last Song...." and now I really love the song Lacrymosa and Breath No More currently. But, who knows how long that will last? I'm just that fickle! overall though, I guess I really like BMTL, since it was the first EV song I ever heard.

Solitude by far!

and I'll tell you why.



At the moment i am obsessed with a good friend of mine, yet they have a significant other, so this song follows me perfectly. The beat is okay, but the lyrics are irriplacible, the line "everyone leaves me stranded, forgotton, abandoned, left behind' i love sooo much. Its such a tragic song, and IMO, is Evanescence's saddest by far. The climax is great 'can't you see all along it was me!? How could you be so blind as to have seen right through me!?"


Wonderful. I've been in love with this song since i heard it last year.


I'm a pretty obsessive person, and i'm also pretty sad, and thats what Solitude is all about.

if i would make a MV for Evanescence for Solitude, it would definitly be in high school, where a girl (though i'm a guy) is sending love letters to a guy and cutting herself. Than at the climax he finds her bleeding to death with his name written in blood on a locker. He actually starts crying, than the girls funeral is shown with the lyrics 'Solitude, still with me is only you!' i can see it now.
