Cuddie - I'm sure you can meet up with some of us from the boards. That is always good - I went to a concert by myself once and met up with heaps of fans from the official message board and it was great fun.

By the way, Ticketek FINALLY have mention of the gig, but so far they only have the Adelaide concert up. It's wierd that they don't put them all up at the same time.

Yeh, ticketek presale is for every venue ticketek are selling for (ie. all except sydney, who will most likely have their own presale through ticketmaster).

Jess - funnily enough I hadn't seen you around until I started posting in these concert threads. Shows how much attention I pay. lol. Snaps back to you :p Btw, I still remember when you fell over at the Seether gig - that was hilarious! lol.

By the way, mknell (or anyone else who knows) - if you buy GA on presale, do you have to/get the chance to specify 'front mosh' or do you just automatically get it? Like, what I mean is you know how in presale they release 'a selection of seats through the venue', does that also mean they release a selection of both front and back mosh tickets as well?

Yah the 1st certain amount of tix get the front mosh, and you can tell this by the door numbers
In presale waht they do is only release about 1/2 of the tickets so that on proper sale date there is still tickets left

Us not getting a meet and greet sucks, but it doesn't mean that the band won't come out after the show and do a casual thing. That's still possible (but unlikely at such a big venue, but we can still hope).

I agree with you Ashlee - check out the venue early to find the buses.

I got GA12 as well, so it seems we are all together. Yay! :)

So, my question is, besides postage (I had mine registered, so that was an extra $4.50, which only takes the price of each individual ticket up to $82.65) why the hell did the extra $5ish dollars come from? It may not seem like a lot, but hey, everything adds up. Very, very strange!!

I've never been to the BEC before... can someone please give me a rough idea of how far I will be from the stage if I go with my friend who has Section 8 tix? I saw the map, but it's kind of hard to know how far the seats are from the actual stage, because I heard the BEC is huge.
Would have loved to have gone with GA12 tix but I'm small and always end up crushed at stuff like this... so I figure that with a seat I'll actually enjoy myself haha
Also will I be able to see much if I am in Section 8? It kinda looks side on to me... where as 8A looks a bit better... maybe I should try get Section 8A tix???? argh this is confusing

Yeh, I agree - vellad, it won't matter once you are there. At the Dresden Dolls concert, I was 'the most normal looking person there' (quoting Ashlee here) and no-one cared. Everyone was just there to enjoy the show.

Include me in any plans, I will try and make it to the meet-up afterwards, but I will have to figure out how to get home. I'm not getting a tattoo though, maybe a fake one, but not real (I don't have the guts yet - I know for sure I would pass out). I'd like to get a rose across my back sometime, so I could always get that done in fake to see what it would look like.

Okay From Roma Street station it's the 13th stop on the Shorncliffe Line, stop at Boondall Railway Station and follow the signs to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The train station is approximately a 550m walk along a fully lit path to the Front Entrance of the Centre...
