I'm sure Vodafone is probably the best Stadium option, stadium gigs just annoy me coz u cant get anywhere near the act unless u line up really early and get good GA tix. Which I intend to do :p

Yes the sound will certainly be a lot better and it also gives the band a lot more room for the lights/screens ect...But yeah a small intimate show would also be awesome...But some how i dont think that will ever happen here in Australia...

I know it's only been a couple of days since the dates were announced but ticketek seem to be a little slack in getting thier info up on thier website, according to them no event exists atm, since it's just over a week until the tickets go on sale it would be really good if they could hurry up and get some pricing and ticket info up on thier website.

I think Vodafone is a good venue to have the concert, but does anyone think that it will sell out really quickly? I am worried that I may miss out on tickets, and that there will be no second concert... maybe I am just being paranoid, but I don't want to have to wait years to get the chance to see them again...

Yeah I intend to be queued up very early on the day to get tickets, cos I don't think I can buy them online anyway, but I am frustrated with ticktek, with every other concert I have ever brought tickets to off them they have always had a pre sale for people who are members of the website, They better have something up on Monday or I will be calling and bugging them for details...

Vodafone Arena is pretty much just down the road to Rodlaver Area (I've performed at both, how cool) which is at Melbourne Park which is... fark. I can't really piture the layout of that area of the city.

But anyways. When it comes to Melbourne, everything is close to everything so as long as you get a hotel in or very close to the CBD you'll be right.

Note, for all interstaters coming to the show and want to see the city as well, I am more than happy to show you around at any time. (Probably the days after the show cos I'll be flying down from Brissy on the 9th).

Like the Elmeister said. It's also just a short walk from Richmond station, which is a very easy station to get to, if catching the train from the city.

I also fear i'm going to this one alone, but i'm hoping i can talk someone into it before the 11th:)

We performed at Vodafone for the heats and for the year we made the final (and came second although I swear to god we should have won) we were at Rod Laver. It's really cool to think I was on the same stage as so many great performers before me.

It's pretty exciting to know we have stepped on the same stage that Evanescence will be on :)
I also have performed on MCG, that was the biggest thrill ever!

And I will proberbly also be going to the concert alone too as none of my friends are into Evanescence that much.. (I kind of made them sick of them cos I played the album so much... whoops..) anyway it would be really good to meet up with other fans

My school was Geelong Northen Education Complex, we came 2nd one year and ended up in premier division, and we always put on really good performances, but in the end I got the feeling that if you went to a school that didn't have money then you didn't really have a chance... apart from that one year we never got any awards in the finals.


Anyway, even though I fear getting squashed I will be getting GA tickets, does anyone have any idea how soon before the concert people start queuing so that they can get in the front row.. are we looking at overnight or just really early in the morning...

Oh and I forgot to say, I haven't seen the concert advertised on tv.. proberbly cos I have been too busy watching my Evanescence DVD, but a friend of mine has seen the posters up everywhere advertising it.. you think that if they had bothered to get the posters and stuff up then ticketek could get thier asses into gear and get us some info.

i doubt the GA tix will be sold out by tonight, with presale tickets there are seats you can get anywhere because you order and pay before the tickets are sold in other places..and the vodafone is pretty big so most likely there will be GA tickets left.

Well I shall introduce myself too, My name is Jo and i'm 24, everyone that knows me thinks i'm cirazy cos when I get bored I like to sing and dance and say stupid things to try and make everyone laugh, and I also tend to be very very very loud.., I hope that this description of myself doesn't scare everyone.

I am coming to the concert with my friend Jess... but she doesn't know that yet because she didn't have enough money to buy tickets and so they will be her 21st birthday present, Jess is pretty crazy just like me

Anyway, tis gonna be lots of fun. My friend and I are gonna come down to Melbourne on the Thursday, so we can explore and shop a little before the concert. :p
