Nah it's not that far, "only" 11 hours away. xD but you have to know, only my body lives in Austria. my soul and my heart will always be in the Netherlands. :p really, I love this country, I just can't miss seeing my favorite band in my favorite country!

I managed to buy a ticket for 50 euro's by MSN. Very happy about it because I wanted to see Evanescence for about three years now, I'm sure it'll be a great day!

Oh right, Evanescence with a French accent...I can make it dirty if I like. But I'm not sure if she's gonna appreciate it...? :p
*thinks* I don't think she would let us go early or anything...although last wednesday there was almost recess and I asked her if we could go a few minutes early. She went: "Can you imitate the bell?" and everyone went: "BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!" and my teacher let us go. Maybe also because we were all so annoying... :p
But I guess my french 2 class is smarter and better and more mature than that...too bad :(

People buy 8 tickets for about 30 euros and then sell them for something like... 200 euro's!
That's a lot of money and I'm a poor girl...

So Ixion and I are looking for three tickets! I just love Evanescence, love The Open Door (I know aaaall the lyrics XD) and just want to go. Sold out in 20 minutes! And my dad was an hour looking for tickets.

And I'm gonna cry if I can't go to the concert!

i went to the ticket office 2 hours early on the first selling day and didn't see anyone till 5 minutes before opening time :rolleyes: 's better than arriving too late - so i'm all set. i just got the album yesterday, so now i'm listening to it like crazy. amazing isn't it?

see you all in the Paradiso (i'll be the one up on the balcony avoiding the mosh pit ;) )

For me it´s also the first time seeing them live, and omg, it already feels so surreal. Tomorrow I´ll see the woman who inspires me so much, I don´t even know how to describe what I´m feeling right now. I think it´s going to be a unforgetable eavening for me.

I´ve already been to Paradiso before, when I went there so see Disturbed. It´s a real small place, so it isn´t strange that the concert was sold out in 10 minutes.

WOW!

I just got back from the show, and all I can say now is that it was BY FAR the best show I've ever seen.
The setlist was great, it was the same as during the North-American tour. I think the best songs tonight were Going Under (though that's not one of my favourite Ev songs, but live it's just great) Imaginary and Good Enough.

Only dissapointment was that it took AGES to get in, so I only saw the last 5 minutes of Revelation Theory.

I'm totally exhausted, so that's all for now, tomorrow i'll tell some more.

Oh my freaking gawd. That was just...great. I'm still shivering...and...I can hardly believe that I saw them in real freaking life! I mean...I seem to slowly realize it now...and I'm so happy. I'm surprised to still have a voice left :D But I loved Amy saying that we screamed louder than any other concert on this tour... :cool: So we all just screamed louder and all. I loved it. I wanna go again! I loved it!! I can't say it enough...Damn. It was my first real concert too :D And I must say, that I really liked that experience. It reminds me a bit of carnaval (the heat, all those people...).
The band just rocked. Too bad I had to leave a bit early (so I couldn't meet them...), but I hope it'll be better next time. This was my first concert, next time I'm at least a bit experienced...and of course, my number one goal would be seeing them in real life, and hearing them in real life. It felt so unreal...it was great, I still feel like screaming like yesterday, it was the first time ever that I screamed so loudly... god it felt good :cool:

(sorry for making this such a long story...I can still just hardly believe it ^^).

It was AMAZING. When I woke up this morning I thought it was all a dream, and it felt so good knowing it was all real... I did not see Revelation Theory, but I don't care. I was just in time too see Ev, after spending 1 hour and a half waiting to get in... But it was sooo worth it. I still feel like hugging everyone to death.

And I've got an Ev-shirt now! Yay! :D

Cool pics!

I was looking forward to this show so much, my expectations were rediculously high:p
but I wasn't dissapointed.:)

Allthough I had seen quiet a lot of videos and pictures of Paradiso already,
I was surprised how small it actually was.
I was standing quiet far to the back, but I had still had a great view on the stage.

They sounded amazing and it seemed like they were really enjoying theirselfs.
Amy's voice has become so much better when you compare it to Anywhere But Home.

It was great to hear the crowd totally freak out during Good Enough,
the screaming and singing seemed to be even louder than during My Immortal.

This show has changed my mind a bit on Fallen and The Open Door.
Before yesterday I thought TOD was better than Fallen,
but during the show I actually enjoyed the Fallen songs more than the new ones.
Going Under and Imaginary were just amazing!

This was my first Ev concert, but I hope I am able to see them again sometime, maybe next year.:)

It was also my first Ev concert (after three years waiting!) and it was GREAT! great sound, great voice, really amazing. Too bad the security was really really strict. After the show I also got some autographs, I haven't really spoken to the bandmembers, at least not really with Amy (there were just too many people wanting her attention so I got out of there as quickly as I could :p) but she did sign my concertticket :o I also managed to get on the picture with Rocky.

hey ixion it was nice meeting you!

concert was awesome
i'm at my work now so i can't give a full report, but i will later...

EDIT:
we arrived at the paradiso venue around 2.30 pm
and 15 minutes later i saw Jack working his ass off, he told me to wait for him a few minutes
few minutes became a few hours but in the mean while we hang out with Tim for almost an hour
he's really awesome, we talked about all kinds of stuff and yes tim, ninja's rule \m/
after that terry came out, some of the fans who were standing close to us asked him for a pic, but he had to take a **** (in his words) because he wasn;t allowed to do that on the bus, lol
before tim came out i got the chance to chat a little with John... then we saw amy walking around but i didn't felt like calling out for her, because around the corner of the building there were already like 50 fans waiting in line, and i didn't wanted them storm over to 'our side' of the venue and scare amy away
so after we took our pics with terry we kinda took our place in line and waited for the door to open
i was looking around to see if some of my friends already arrived and suddenly i notice Jack standing in the crowd, looking for me
he apologized for not coming out earlier, it was a chaos inside, i told him it was ok, i was happy he came out anyway... we chat a little and then he asked me for directions to the nearest brger king...

after the doors opened i got me a hoodie (not the girlie one)
we got s spot on the third row, between terry and amy (which pretty much sucked when amy was playing on the huge piano, couldn't see a damn thing)
revelation theory started a few minutes later and gosh, they totally surprised me, they totally rock!

well we all know the playlist already and stuff
so i'm gonna skip the ev-gig
although i like to add, that it was truly the best ev concert i've ever seen
words can't discribe how crazy the crowd was, even the band made that clear
rocky had the biggest smile i've ever seen the entire show, couldn't see john and tim very well, but at one point even amy said it...
it was the first concert were she had problems hearing herself cause everybody was screaming so loud and she said something about being surprised that everybody knew to words to the new song... well not everybody, i didn't knew all the words...

about 45 minutes/an hour after the show rocky came out and then tim, john & terry
a little later amy made her appereance (sp?)
it got really crowded when she came out, so me and ixion went over to rocky who was standing on the other side of a van
we got a pic with him, and then i asked him to sign a pic from Mourningside @ juanita's
"see i knew you looked familiar!" and then jack came out to say goodbye and he said to rocky, that's sas rocky: yeah i know!
that felt good

in the mean while, the security people chased everybody away who got a close encounter with amy, so i saw my oppertunity to get closer to her, she totally recognized me again '[insert girly sqeeuking 'Heeeeey!!!' in here] It's so good to see you again" and then we hugged
i got nothing to sign on me, and amy was like: well you have seen my autograph before and you got a bunch of time, but i'll sign your hand anayway... i thought that was really nice, to bad we weren't allowed to take piccies, but hey i got my hug, so no complains here!

so that was pretty much it...

That's a really good one :) I LOVED IT I LOVED IT I LOVED IT!!!! I had such an amazing time.

I arrived after noon, by myself. Had fun with some people waiting on the stairs (w00t Dani! schaapje!) and also with Sas who I recognized but obviously she didn't know me. lol. Talked to Tim before the show, he's hilarious. Asked us which were cooler, ninjas or pirates. I said ninjas cause they have better outfits, they're skilled, they're japanese and they have shuriken. He was glad I agreed with him- later on John turned out to agree also. Anyway, I ended up writing "NINJAS RULE" on my hands for him.

Time passed, we got funny feelings in our stomach as the time of opening the doors approached... then we could go in. I was up front at the left (where Tim and John would be on stage). Revelation Theory was really really good I thought, perfect support cause they got us warmed up for the stars of the show. The second Amy hit the stage everybody started screaming like crazy! But it was amazing. Surreal, too. I enjoyed every single moment of it, though time seemed to go so fast, it was over in no time. All the band members were amazing, so much better than three years ago in my opinion. I screamed my lungs out and appearantly I wasn't the only one cause Amy said a gazillion and five times we were so loud and we sang along to the new songs so well. Heehee.

So. Show's over. We went to the side of the Paradiso and they all came out to sign. I had gotten a setlist and they all signed it! First time I actually saw Amy up close. She's cool, I made her laugh ^________^;; cause everybody asked her to smile for a picture and I told her good luck unscrewing your smile later. (man, with those smiles she had we'd almost be able to pull full dental records xD) She also signed my shirt. Scored some pics too, with Rocky, John and Tim, but they're on someone else's camera so they'll come later. And John said he remembered talking through the fence three years ago after the show at 013! Pretty cool. I got his pick during the show, and two of Tim (first he threw one that ended up on the floor, I got a security guard to give it to me but Tim leaned towards me from the stage to hand me one also). And I got one from the bass player from Revelation Theory. Four picks, that's a record! lol!

Maaaaaannn... I wish it would all happen all over again! Best concert eeeeeveeeeeeerrrrr....

It was an unforgetable night, it really was. The Relevation Theory was okay, they reminded me of Disturbed. And I really liked it when he toke off his shirt. :p Then when they´re busy setting things up for Ev, I really had an awkward moment. I just couldn´t believe I would see my ´dreamwoman´ in real life. But I did! And even though I´m totally straight, I fell in love with her immediately. :cool: The concert was great, and I did like everybody singing along. But it was kinda short, and when I left I had a little depression. Just by knowing that it´s going to be a while before I can see them again.
