I attended this show. It kicked quite some ass. Even though the people up top got screwed out of there seats. When we got there, the staff was telling us it was general Admission in the Mezzinine and Balcony when it was supposed to be assigned (ticket number to seat number). Many were furious because they got seats that were like 15 - 20 rows from where they were supposed to be.
Other than that... I enjoyed the show. Revelation Theory rocked but they didn't have the mic up loud enough to understand the words. Bought the CD after the show as we were wqalking out... opened it up and had the Drummer and the Guitarist (Bass, I think) sign it for me and shook the Drummers hand. He's a pretty alright drummer.
Only thinkg I was kind upset about was the fact that I, personally, don't think Evanescence was on stage very long. I felt they were only on about 1 hour. And I think they should have done a couple more of there newer songs than there older ones. Also, Amy didn't say much to the audience like she did at the last concert she had here at DTE nearly 3 years ago. It was kinda like they were in a hurry to get off the stage. I don't know. But I think they could have stayed on atleast another 15 - 20 minutes. Oh yeah, and we were told NO CAMERAS allowed. But when we got there they told us Disposable cameras only! We was kinda pissed about that. And I didn't clean my phones camera lens before the show, so my pictures turned out like complete crap. GRRRR!
Anyway, I've seen them 2 times so far, and I will see them again next year if they come back for there larger venue touring.

I was on the main floor with my brother. When Revelation Theory was on, we were about 7 people from the front. But when Ev was on it was about 9 people. This was my first rock concert and if was SO cool :p They had a red balloon be bounced around but when it got to the front someone popped it I think. I didn't get to touch it :(

HaHaHa. I seen the Ball/Balloon/beach ball (whatever it was). They gave that to you guys to keep you busy while they was setting up for Ev to come on set... I would think. It was funny, it'd bounce to the stage, some crew guy would catch it and the audience would BOOOOO cuz they thought he was going to put it away.

Yeah I almost got to touch it, but I hit someones hand instead. When they popped it I was like DARN them! When Ev played CMWYS did anyone notice two people in the front have to be pulled out of the crowd? Did they get squished or what?
EDIT: By the way, I used up all my film so I'll get them developed the next time my parents go shopping. When I get them I'll try and scan them and post them somewhere. Should I post them here when I get them or somewhere else?

Wow, I was told NO cameras allowed, so I was pissed, anyway, here's my little story:

Okay, the day before the show I got to Detroit for the show, and I was hoping to get there by 4pm before the show. But my friend didn't wanna show up that early, so we got there at six, and I was mad b/c I wanted to see the band early. So when we got there, we went to the back of the line: THREE BLOCKS FROM THE ENTRANCE. As I headed there I saw the buses right across the street from the line, I had my eyes glued there to see any possible EvAppearences, I don't think I saw them. I also saw what I thought to be an Amy Lee look-a-like, and I knew it wasn't her b/c the person I saw had a MASSIVE beak, I mean, she could drill a hole in the street probably...lol. Anyway, I was pumped to see them still and after about a half hour, THE DOOR OPENEED, and my heart started to pound.

The line moved in bursts, slowly getting closer and closer to the door, and when I finally got in, I sped straight towared the main floor, and I realized that I wasn't the last person to show b/c I was in the middle of the pit, and my friend stood on the higher area. So, I was waiting about 15 minutes and I heard some people cheering and pointing to the balcony...and I look --- AMY LEE ON HER CELL PHONE! I almost died, and she smiled and gave us a wave and went.

Before RT started, their stage was getting the final touches dones, and there was this one maintanence guy in a white shirt, and EVERY time he went across the stage EVERYONE went insane! It was hilarious, I did feel bad for the guy. It seemed SOOO LONG til they started, and they rocked, except Richie's mic should've been put up, he was a bit quiet and the guitars flooded his voice. I think they only played for 20 MINUTES, and I was like WTF? Anyway, right when they finished the lead singer went in the pit and handed out their CD, and I later got just him to sign the cd, which I was excited to see Ev so much that I dropped his CD in front of him and it busted...lol

Then, we waited...and waited.....and after 25 minutes of hitting a big red balloon around the crowd, the crowd started to cram, so I joined my friend in the higher area, great view of the stage from where I was at. And we waited, and waited some more, until it seemed like an hour later, we looked at the stage, which was bare, nothing put up. As we're hearing them tuning the guitars, the lights went out, and I hear, "It's true, we're all a little, insane...." and there was a curtain that lifted revealing the entire band and their sweet lighting, and the crowd went ballistic! It was all amazing, and when you hear any of their songs on their cds, you know the high opera notes that are on them? SHE SINGS THEM! FLAWLESSLY!!! QUITE THE BEST THING I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN THE WORLD! I WAS SO COOL, WORDS COULD NOT DESCRIBE HOW I FELT DURING THE ENTIRE CONCERT. IT WAS SO COOL, and she thanked us for making them #1 and Amy before Good Enough said "Okay, it's just me and the piano, so be forgiving" and she cracked up when the entire crowd cheered for her after the first chorus, It felt so good to hear her live along with the rest of the band.

-Just a random addition, I hate people who think JUST amy is Evanescence...grrr....okay, outta my system..

Then the show ended on a epic note, every song hit me, it was magical.

-After the show, I went straight to a security guard and asked when they'd be signing and they said something like "They had a meet n greet before, but you could try going out to the buses" so I RAN as fast as I could to the buses. I was in the second row on one side of the barricade. And every time we saw a long dark haired person we freaked out, then TERRY came out, but he went right up to the bus, tried to open the door, but it was locked, so he got someone to open it, and he entered. About 20 minutes later, the cool security guard from ABH [Triple Cheese] went up to us and said "Ok look, Amy's not feeling well, and she doesn't wanna go back and forth from here to the other side of fans, so she'll be out in 20 minutes, and you guys need to form a line on the OTHER SIDE of the barricade" and all of us were like WTF? So we moved to the other side, and instead of being in 2nd row, we were 2nd from the LAST. I was pissed, but I knew it'd pay off when the band came out. So we were waiting, and the RT singer came out and chatted for a sec, then left. Then Triple cheese [I forgot his real name]came and said "Okay, we're gonna have ten of you at a time form a line at the barricade and get autographs, but NO PHOTOS" and I was upset b/c all I wanted was a pic from them.....eventually, about AN HOUR later, the WHOLE BAND came out, and I was freaking out inside. Slowly, I got closer to the front of the line...and I blinked and I was behind a person talking to Amy....I could hear their conversation:

Girl: OMG, I don't know what to say..

Amy: That's okay, I'm always like, hmm, I dunno what to do...

THEN IT WAS ME! I was so excited, I saw Amy, she was wearing the pink and black sweatshirt, and she's smaller and more down to earth than I EVER expected, the coversation went as follows:

Me: Hi Amy! Would It be ok if you make the CD out to Anna? She couldn't make it to the show, and could you sign the ticket too?

Amy: Sure, let me turn the cd around
-My hand was shaking like crazy.....
Me: This was a million times better than ABH....

Amy: Yeah, it kicks ass, wait...the album? THE CONCERT!

Me: Uh, BOTH!!!

Amy: *giggles

Me: Thanks alot!

-Then I moved to Terry and John, they didn't say much, I wish I remembered what I was gonna say to them....hopefully i will when I see them again.

-Then there was Tim

Me: Hey Tim, welcome to the band!
Tim: Thanks for knowing my name!
Rocky: Yeah, FRANK! Haha...we always knew who you were..

-I moved to Rocky to sign

Me: Wow, you guys rock, like seriously

Rocky: You rock, man!

-Then I think I said something but I forgot, probably cuz I embarrased myself.

-And when I was still waiting in line, I SWEAR I saw Beth's head looking throught the bus door window, she was making funny faces.

-After they signed, I wanted to hang out with them more

OVERALL:
+ Great show
+ Great to meet them and get autographs

- No pictures :'(

PS: AMY WAS SICK? OMG, she sounded so beautiful live, no way could I have thought she sounded sick, it was amazing

Damn all you lucky bastards! hahaha. J/K of course. I wouldn't have fit in that whole line anyway. I felt out of place waiting in the line trying to get into the concert. I love Rock music, but I don't dress Rockerish. I dress more ghetto-ish/urban. So it was wierd. haha.

it kicked ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i was way in the frot!there were 3 people in front of m!!!!!!!!it was mind blowing!!!!!!!!!except for the part were i got dehydrated and fainted.so yea anyone who was in the way front right in front of amy who saw a short girl in a corset, fishnet and combat boots that was being lifted above all yur heads yea that wad me..heehee it sstill kicked ass.altho i missed CMWYS.ah well.it was still so awesome!!!!!!

Basically, the best day of my life, just EVERYTHING was so great, wow, did ANYONE see the Amy Look-a-Like while we were in line? I saw her, she had a massive beak, but then someone did a spit take almost on her with their free MONSTER energy drinks, why were they handing them out for free? Maybe the band loves us..lol

They do that during like the Woodward Dream Cruise or the Downriver Cruise sometimes... hand out things like that. My guess would be to promote the item. *Shrugs* there free, so who cares. :)

It was a great show. The tigers won which made it even better. Everybody was saying let's go tigers and stuff like that in the crowd. Rev theory sucked and they really suck bad. Evanescence kicked ass.
