TOD Game!!!!!!

Yes! Your eyes are not tricking you! This is officially the unofficial Evanescence: The Open Door Game. ;)

Because of the love we all have of Ev and me being a liitle bit of a programming nerd, I dicided to create an Unoffical TODGame. It is just for fun so you don't need to send me any money or anything, but if you feel it deserves some kind of monetarry compensation, then send the money to the "Out of the Shadows" foundation. ;)

Although! Three backstage tickets for the Edmonton, CA show would be great, I could take my two daughters to go see Amy and the boys. They are taking voice lessons right now but I think they would go just to see the band members. lol

Anyways, this game file is 27 mgs and I don't really want everybody getting it from my site cause that'll kill my server so you can get it through one of these two ways:

1) If the good people of this site want, I can send it to them and they can put it up on this site for all to get...
2) I can see if the official site will put it up... or
2) the easiest and fastest way is, I can send it to a few people and you guys can flip it to each other through MSN or something.

Tell me what you would like and I'll see what I can do. :D

Actually it might be because of that but I can't be sure cause it doesn't give me the actual error just that there's one that needs to be debugged. I'll take a look at the code again, maybe there's something I can do about that.

Ok, I've done some fixing to the code of the game. I made it so that it will catch any mistakes and show what they are exactly so you can write them in here and that will tell me what's going on. BUT...

For those that have downloaded it so far have you installed the proper .NET Framework like it says in the readme file? That might be the reason why it doesn't work for you. If so perhabs try the newer version and it will tell me what's going on, I would hate for you to be the only ones that can't work it. :(

the only problem i had after downloading the new zip file was that the shortcut was searching the files on C://Program Files/... but my computer is in spanish so it was installed in C://Archivos de Programa/... after i fixed that everything worked!

ok, I see the problem. Because your computer is not english based it won't work unless you install the game to a folder called "Program Files", right now your folder is called C:/Arquivos de programas. If you can reinstall the game program in a folder called "Program Files" instead of "Arquivos de programas" in your C: hard drive I'm sure it will work. :)

I'm pleased to say that the Unofficial TOD Game has been downloaded from my server 448 time to date since I put it up for download, and that's without counting how many times it has been downloaded from megaupload. Anyways, this game file is 27 mgs and I don't really want everybody getting it from my site cause that'll kill my server so you can get it through one of these two ways:

1) If the good people of this site want, I can send it to them and they can put it up on this site for all to get...
2) I can see if the official site will put it up... or
2) the easiest and fastest way is, I can send it to a few people and you guys can flip it to each other through MSN or something.

Tell me what you would like and I'll see what I can do. :D

So I downloaded, and something about WinAce, I've got that but I stilll don't understand how you get the TOD game. I'm confused, am I doing something wrong?

I don't know what WinAce would have to do with the download but you should just be able to click on the zip or winrar file and unzip it, then just follow the installtion process. Just make sure you install it in a folder called Program Files. Maybe try to re-download it and try again.

The file is pretty big to transfer through email or one of the messenger programs. It's best that you just try to re-download it and try to install it again.
