This is the first post and thus, as a lot of you already know, it will be updated with each day Lithium spends on the TRL countdown after its debut.

Here's what you need to know:

1) You need to have an account at MTV's web page in order to vote. Getting one is quite easy, you follow this link (http://www.mtv.com/#/ontv/dyn/trl/series.jhtml), click on "Sign in and vote" and then click on "Join."

2) The video is on the list, so all there is to do now is: vote! (http://www.mtv.com/#/ontv/dyn/trl/series.jhtml)

3) Last but not least, step 3 is the most important component of voting. And that's voting more than once:

[Firefox Users] Go to Tools on your browser > Internet Options > Privacy > Under the cookies section "uncheck" the box that says "accept cookies from site" and click on "OK." Once you're done voting, go back there and "check" it again.

[Opera Users] Go to Tools on your browser > Preferences > Advanced > Click on cookies on the list you see on the left > Choose "Never accept cookies" and click on "OK."

[Internet Explorer Users] Go to Tools > Internet Options > Delete Cookies (General Tab > Temporary Internet Files).

And just so you guys know, sometimes the video is up for voting before TRL announces it, usually hours before. I saw the +44 video in the morning on the list for voting the day it came out, and then later saw its TRL premiere. The actual video wasn't available, but it was still available for voting. So be sure to check the list daily so we can get a jumpstart on voting. We want this video to be number 1 asap. Right?!?!?!

Everyone should take the whole entire day off just to celebrate and vote for Lithium a billion times!

Before the video even is released, I think everyone should at least first sign into the Mtv website, and go to the voting page. When you go there at least go to the bottom where you can enter an artist and a song name. If you do this, they might recognize the song, and on there debute it would be more publicized. Any vote counts, and maybe they'll air it sooner. Also if we do this, they may show a quick view of her video due to the publicity, and it may draw other people into voting. So, at least start voting, at least ONCE.

Oh yeah, ALSO. Everyone needs to call their radio stations and bother them about releasing the single on the radio. If you keep on bothering them, they may play it (like call me when you're sober)! The sooner or better, so more people can vote for them on Trl.

My LAST THING is that you have to tell your family and friends to vote and if you don't scream at them, because each person counts, and i'm getting sick of listening to Justin Timberlake. He has no talent, and he's overly rated. He could sing somewhat, but there are a lot of other people who can sing better, write their own music, and play music... and well they're the ones that should be more publicized, not Justin Timberlake, or Brittney Spears. My conclusion is to vote for people like Evanescence, who can sing.

And whereas some people may not care, I actually do--so I do not see the need to say that people like Justin cannot sing. Just because his songs sound nothing like Ev's, does not mean that he sucks or is worth any less. That's just my opinion though.

Here's a suggestion that just came into mind.

There's a lot of people who watch TRL, and there are also a lot of people who watch VSPOT right? Well I'm only assuming that a lot of the people who watch and vote on VSPOT don't bother to watch or vote on TRL, or vise versa. I was that way at first, watching and voting for CMWYS on TRL and not caring about VSPOT. Now I watch and vote for both. If we really want Lithium to succeed on TRL, we should try and get those who vote on VSPOT to also vote on TRL. VH1 has a message board where you can tell others to vote for whatever video you like. I'm not sure if it's against the rules or anything, but posting in the message board to get VSPOTers to vote for Lithium on TRL also will help the video out a lot. And of course you can also tell people to vote for both Lithium and CMWYS on VSPOT. But yeah, sign up and make an account on VH1 and start telling VSPOTers to vote on TRL too.

Yup, they just had it on TRL. It was one of the MTV vj's/news reporters asking Amy about the video [it's pretty much like that youtubed thing we already saw]. I'm just very happy that they took the time to report on it and make it part of TRL. Let's face it, they miss all of us crashing the countdown, :p.

Their site has such poor design, it makes me cringe. They designed it to be T1-friendly, not DSL- or dial-up-friendly, and that's breaking rule number one of web design - make the site accessible to as many people as possible. That means aiming for a dial-up, MAYBE DSL compatibility. Clearly, that hasn't been done. It seems they've gone for the most bells, whistles and annoying flashes they could pack into a web space, instead.

However, it's MTV. Why should I expect quality design from a TV station that's so bad? :p

ok so to explain for the 9286387 time. It leaked earlier in the week. Premiered on MuchMusic's MOD Thursday or Friday...but YouTube has seen to it that every one posted is taken down. US releases and premieres haven't been released yet.

This is the first post and thus, as a lot of you already know, it will be updated with each day Lithium spends on the TRL countdown after its debut. Of course, the video is not out yet, but planning has never been a bad thing.

Here's what you need to know:

1) You need to have an account at MTV's web page in order to vote. Getting one is quite easy, you follow this link (http://www.mtv.com/#/ontv/dyn/trl/series.jhtml), click on "Sign in and vote" and then click on "Join."

2) The video is not on the list yet, once it is though, go to that same page and vote! (http://www.mtv.com/#/ontv/dyn/trl/series.jhtml)

3) Last but not least, step 3 is the most important component of voting. And that's voting more than once:

[Firefox Users] Go to Tools on your browser > Internet Options > Privacy > Under the cookies section "uncheck" the box that says "accept cookies from site" and click on "OK." Once you're done voting, go back there and "check" it again.

[Opera Users] Go to Tools on your browser > Preferences > Advanced > Click on cookies on the list you see on the left > Choose "Never accept cookies" and click on "OK."

Who knows what they'll do? What we have to do is keep putting the votes in so that they see that there is a strong demand for it. Our current goal is to get enough votes to crack the top 10. That would be quite an accomplishment since the video is not even on the list.

Vote, vote and vote, it might just make the top 10 and they'll be forced to add it to the list.

Here's where it gets tricky...for the States, you're going to have to wait for the video as Amy so eloquently described. The video will probably not premiere in the States until around the time of the song's radio add date, which is around January 9th. In the meantime, you can still request it on your local radio/TV stations, but definitely beef up said calls/requests around that time.

Ok, so I'm confused. Cfw has said that the video probably won't premiere until January. So why are we all voting our asses off now? Shouldn't we be saving most of our energy until January?

I think it would be way better for MTV not to play the video until then anyway, because that would be stupid if it was on TV so soon before it's radio release. Plus, that way it would get the full impact of TV and radio, whereas if it were on TV now, you'd have a bunch of people seeing it and wanting to request it on the radio and their stations wouldn't be able to play it yet.

The video is out there. A lot of people have seen the video, maybe not everyone, but they will get to see it on TV as well. I saw it just today on Fuse's 'Oven Fresh,' which means that if people like it [of which I'm sure] it will be played on Fuse on a regular basis.
