Hey there! I just wanted to let you guys know that evanescence is on Much Music's 'Born To Be'. I'm actually watching it now, but you can check out the much music website for replay times (because their playing the show a number of times). Hopefully someone will youtube it for you guys.

I'm just about half way through and this is AMAZING. It's probably more insightful than any interview I've ever watched. It touches on some very touchy subjects such as the Ben Moody and Amy Lee romantic relationship, why ben left and things such as those that have been very unclear. I highly suggest that you guys watch this.

ummm, I'm not sure when it's on again, but you can go to www.muchmusic.com and search the born to be show. it'll tell you then. But it's seriously AMAZING. Please someone youtube it, I want to watch it again. it was alot to absorb.

I was wondering if there was already a thread on this...

watching it now :D its pretty good, they're showing some old footage, its cool ^____^

they concentrate a lot on the amy/ben amy/shaun thing though...its sort of annoying XD they make it up that amy is really whiney and dramatic and all. at least thats what I got from it gernerally.

I'm mad it's only 1/2 hour long too!! I thought born to be's were like 2 hours long.

btw, if anyone missed it, they didn't show anything new. it was just a biography thing with a whole lot of old clips from muchmusic and such. they didn't show much of the new clips either :P

pretty good though :D

I love how they used clips fomr ABH. So everybody that isn't really Evanescence fan can't say Amy is an EMO weirdo, She is just like us.=)

There's actually very little new info. No new pics at all. But there was a little more insight into the Amy/Ben relationship, I guess. They did have some Canadian concert footage that we haven't really seen. But overall we've heard it before, a million times.

well just about how they infact were romantically involved (boyfriend/girlfriend) and such. It was a big thing about wether or not they were. At least I remember a big debate about that (not here)

Despite there being nothing new, I think I'd like to see it anyway. It sounds like that interview is an older one, from 2005, that they never aired. There was only this minute-long thing on the site that was more random clips than Amy talking. So, I'm interested to see more of it. :)

And yes, the "I'm a musician, not a stripper" line was in that minute, and it totally made my day. Haha.

i am such an idiot. last night/this morning, the much website said it was on again at 1am. so me being dumb went to watch it at 1am....i forgot i am in manitoba and an hour behind ontario time....so it was on at midnight my time! missed it by an hour! ha ha

ah well its on again tonight, they will reair it til we all have memorized it!

yea I've seen it on tv. It like OMG lol. like at first I thought the amy and ben things was just a rumor till I saw that.

Wow, that was actually a GOOD "Born To Be". Usually, it's just okay, but that was well done.

However, they could've shortened the Ben Moody departure so that Will's departure and the law suit (Walmart and Rider) could've been included. It would give Evanescence an even more "real" feel.

But all in all, excellent job Much :D

In regards to the episode, I thought they really over-dramatized everything lol...I was sitting there watching it and going like "oh man they're making this a big wad of DRAMA" lol but it was kind of nice that they got almost everything right. I did like how they used different interviews, but I thought that using the one of Amy in the toy store wasn't so good because that interview is soooo old lol.

Anyway, I thought it was quite interesting to hear it all at once. Thanks a lot :)

Wow, I really enjoyed watching that. Not only did it take you on the journey of Evanescence but it took me on the journey I've taken as a fan of Evanescence. As cheesy as that sounds, it's true. It was good to see some truth being told and sayings like "rumor has it" rather than...this happened, that happened. I didn't agree with how they were going on about Amy and Ben's relationship though. I feel that was rather dramatised.
On another note...

that was a really good show! yeh it was very dramatic and it did kinda make amy out to be this hard done by emo queen... but non the less it was still good. it also made me sympathise with ben. we'll never know the whole story and frankly i dont want to, but some of the stuf on here just made me want to give him a big ol' hug!
