Why thank you :) John thought I was crazy for wanting a pic with him even though the gate was in the way. But you could tell he made it work by squeezing his face through the bars. I think that the wild look in his eyes and that huge grin makes him look adorable!

I also saw you at the Phoenix concert, John. I was standing in the area where the band equipment is loaded into the truck around 11:10 or so when I saw you come out. I heard someone yell at you, "You f***in' rock, John. I also yelled your name at one point and I know you didn't see or hear me, but that is not a big deal because I knew you were very busy, it was late at night, and I met Amy later on anyway. I just wanted to let you know that you and the rest of the band were absolutely awesome at the concert. I already loved you guys so much to begin with, but your performance in Phoenix made me fall in love with the music all over again. Keep up the sensational work, good luck with your tour in Europe, and come on here and chat with your beloved fans soon! Take care!

I can just tell that that he is like that by the way he is smiling in the picture. In fact, now that I think about it, everyone in this band is funny and outgoing. I think that is the best personality for someone to have, too. Next time Ev does a concert in Arizona, my top priority will be trying to meet everyone in the band because I would miss out on too much fun otherwise, LOL!!!

Hell yeah you would! I'll tell you exactly how my meeting with John went, since this thread is about John specifically.

After my mom took my friends and me over to that huge iron gate, I saw John talking to a bunch of the stage crew. Now, when it came down to it, I wasn't gonna be shy or polite and wait for John to notice me so I can get an autograph and/or a picture. Immediately, at the top of my lungs, I screamed, "HEY JOHN!" I must've screamed pretty loud too, cause it got his attention and he came right over.

So I held out the setlist (the awesome one that I had made on my computer) and while he was signing it, I told him how awesome his performance was. I also reminded him that I was standing directly in front of him during the concert. And you know what? He remembered me! :D He was all like, "Oh yeah, I remember you."

I think part of the reason he did was because I, along with another fan, were screaming hysterically when he came close to us and were trying to touch him! But he just gave us that mischievious little grin, as if to say, "Haha you can't touch me!"

But yeah, so then I asked him for a picture. And he was like, "Through the gate?" The gate wasn't even a problem for me so I just simply said, "I'll hold your hand or something," just cause I wanted to symbolize in the picture that I was standing next to a member of Evanescence! So then he responded to that, "You'll hold my hand?!" It was a combination of being surprised and flattered.

But as the picture shows, we made the best of the situation and I got my autograph and my pic from him! :D
