Hm...well, someone mentioned Sake...But I'm thinking you need to go the Spiritus route. Not sure on the spelling...but I've had Plenty of Sake, Habu Sake (which could tranquilize a Horse! It's made w/ snake venom, hee :cool: ), and Sochu (pronounced So-ju) in Okinawa Japan. But I've had Moonshine, and Everclear stateside, and Absynth in Japan and Europe....

I tell you, out of ALL OF THESE HARSH LIQUORS... SPIRITUS is the best!!! One lil' tube shot, and you're DONE!!! I had 2 beers, and 2 of those shots, and I don't remember ANYTHING from about 9pm to 12pm the next morning.
Haa haa...probably not the best thing, but that's why you do it around friends! :D

And that's not to mention the bears! Orion, Kirin, Sapporo, Asahi ....the list goes on and on....and I've had 'em ALL! Best time ever in Japan= THE ORION BEER FESTIVAL!!! :p You pay like, 1500yen (about 13 dollars) and you get to DRINK ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT!! WOO!!!

Spider's are certainly not nice creatures. There was actually a spider in out living room almost the size of a CD yesterday it's legs were that big. There's a family of MASSIVE spiders living in our garage, and believe me when my mum makes me do the laundry I do NOT appreciate it lol.

Spiders and snakes give me CHILLS, but I would never harm them though. I have been working at a preschool lately, and spiders keep coming up out of the woodwork. The kids are all like, "Miss Monica..... a spider...... ahhhhh, get it!" They are too cute though.



Tim, I will be seeing you guys three times within a week. Champaigne, Moline and Ohio as well. I can't wait. These are my first out of state shows. I was at the 8/10 show in Evansville and I met some really cool girls off of here. Most of us are planning to go to Illinois together (one lives there, the other lives in St. Louis). Then, I am going with another friend to the one in Ohio. I am so excited. Be looking for me right in the front of the pit. I won't stand for anything less than pit. :) So, this will be the perfect ending to my year. I met Page McConnell (keyboardist from Phish), Dog and Beth Chapman (the bounty hunters) and if I meet you all, this will be the best year that I have had for a longgg time. (all my favorite people) Don't get me wrong, if I meet you guys, I am very lucky. However, seeing my fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh show all within less than four months is so awesome. As much as I lurve pirates, I think Tim is more ninja-like in his physique and style of dress. Think about it... he's slender and in good shape (no pirate rum belly), dresses sort of incognito in all black, and doesn't have long, wild hair (well at least not anymore ;) ).

The pirate vs. ninja debate has been going on on the internet for awhile now. Back when EvBoard was the largest and most prominent message board (the band members used to post on there; EvThreads didn't exist), people picked up on it and it turned into a board-wide debate. It was hilarious, and really fun, and there were even groups made that would give you either a pirate or a ninja icon. So of course, once Ev started touring again in 2006 (right around the time of EvBoard's downfall), everyone started asking the band members whether they were pirates or ninjas. And so the fight continues ;)

As for your second question...again, back on EvBoard in early 2006, Amy made a post basically telling us to hang in there because the album was coming soon, etc. She also addressed the thought that some people had that TOD would be all happy stuff because she wasn't miserable anymore (obviously saying that it wasn't the case)...and she titled her thread 'Happy cupcake sprinkly funland'. So a bunch of us started joking about which cupcakes were the best, and she said that buttercream ones were the best. So some of us on the East Coast remembered that and made buttercream cupcakes for the band last October. And Amy said they were amazing, so a bunch of other fans in different places started doing it as well. Now it's died off...but that's the cupcake story ;)
