It took me a whole year to find that video! One day I just clicked the left button on the menu screen when and all of a sudden the E symbol appeared. I could not believe it. I was so happy seeing it and proud of myself all day for finding it...even though it took a whole year! Such a cool performance.

To find this thing just point the mouse on to big red thorn (under the word Concert) in Main Menu of DVD and a little emblem of EVANESCENCE will appears. Just click it and enjoy)))

According to dreamchaser_83's words it's the video from Billboard 2003, but I'm not quiet sure....

I found it pretty quick. Usually when I get a DVD from a band I will play around in the menus and find anything I can. Go to the main menu and press left a couple times on your remote. The ev logo will light up on the thorn on the left and when you click enter (select, whatever) it will play the show.

I tell you the hardest one to find all the easter eggs on is still the NIN DVD "And All That Could Have Been"

Same thing happened to me a few days after I got it. I was like, this isn't in the menu :eek: but I was happy to see it. <3 Amy's glitter eyes in that- so shiny.

Yeah, I watched the DVD on my computer when I first got it, and my computer was a bit messed up that day (my mouse kept spazzing) and somehow I wound up finding the performance (I had been attempting to watch the bloopers and stuff). Oh well. Yay me.

Yes the performance is from the 2003 Billboard Music Awards. it was cool because Shawn Morgan introduced Evanescence, and they played in Las Vegas without an audience in a sign graveyard, I think that was what it was called. It was where all the old signs that Vegas wasn't using were stored. they just lit them all up and played there. its an awesome performance! I don't remember if they won any awards that night...

2004 Re-release of Fallen had a bonus track for My Immortal's Band Version...their official website also gave you the option of downloading the song for free provided you had Fallen.

In early August I bought my first Fallen album(still is/only have one)(long story to why i just bought it) and i looked on the back and only had eleven songs. When i put it in my portable dvd player it read twelve tracks and was like"how is that pssible?" Then when track four/My Immortal came on, i was expecting the band version. When the song played, immediatly i was like "This isn't it. This sounds different. This is a different version" and got somewhat depressed because i wanted to hear the band version, and thought that was the only version of the song they had on the cd. When Whisper ended the band version played, and i was happy because now i got two versions of My Immortal. I also got TOD a day later after it came out and i got ABH.

I was messing around with the dvd thing.
However, I haven't heard the Band version of My Immortal on Fallen.
I think that I have the original, not the re-release but I can't tell because I've lost the bookletttt o_0.
Damn, my carelessness, either that or my mom has tidied it away somewhere :confused:.

i finally figured it out today! thanks for the step by step instructions guys! i have known about the easter egg for a while....but i got the impression that it only worked on a computer. thats what i got out of evboard...they had a thread on this and people were saying that you have to play it on your computer...but my computer doesn't have a dvd player. so i thought i was out of luck ;( but then i read this thread and it was soooo much more informative :) i was very happy to have found it after so long! thanks again guys!
i love amy in almost all white and i loved the glitter make up! i wear my make up like that a lot....i'm a regular glitter queen! haha....well thanks again...i am eternally greatful! and if anyone has anymore secret stuff let us know!!!!

Anyway here's all that I have figured out from the time that I posted above until now.

The whole cover on the 2004 release is much more blue.

On the 2004 one Amy's face is much darker.

The banner on the side has two rows of those circle things and on the 2003 one, there is only one.

On the 2003 one, her eyebrows and lips are darker.

Her eye make-up is much darker and there's more of it on the 2003 release.

Her hair style is different.

Her eye's, the iris/color part, are lighter on the 2004 one.

On the 2004 one her spikes are lighter.

The thing going to her temple from off the page is raised in the 2004 one.

On the 2003 one you can see her nose better, and her neck doesn't look all blury and thick on the 2003 one.

On the 2004 one she has bags under her eyes.

It also looks like there are "indentions" on the corner of her eyes/side of her nose near her eyes.

I randomly found it while watching the DVD on my computer. I was playing with my mouse, or something along those lines, and somehow the mouse went over the E symbol and I was like what was that? I clicked on it and voila, the performance showed up. I remember getting really excited about it. That was the good old days before the hard drive crashed on my computer. Now I can't play DVDs on my Windows Media Player. :( Don't know why...

And the tracklist only have 11 songs, but when I listen it, it has 12 songs, because has as the last song the MI band version, I don´t know if this happen with you people too.

What are you people talking about?! I have the 2004 (even though I bought it in 2006 XD) release and it looks the exact same as the 2003 release. The face isn't any different (and looks nothing like that picture you posted) and the EV and Fallen logo is in the corner, not the middle or at least the Canadian 2004 release is like that... Same here, the one I got in early 2004 has the same cover as the 2003 version. The only difference is that it has MI band version on it... strange, was the 2004 cover-art only released in the US?

I think what SparklingGray means is that the tracklisting itself was meant to keep the band version of My Immortal a secret bonus track.

Of course, the album itself was re-released around Grammy time when the My Immortal single was at its peak.

When I bought Fallen, I didn't actually know that there was a limited edition with the band version, I just liked the singles, so I bought the album...and I listened to both versions of My Immortal, and I could tell there was a difference, but I could never figure out what it was.

Then one day I had an epiphany and I was like, oh...the band comes in at the bridge. I felt so dumb because I wasn't even listening to the album at the time, I was in my science class.

and also, some of the ABH dvd's have the hidden performance of BMTL (yes i know, said before) and the thing you highlight can either be an E at the start of evanescence OR their logo which just appears at the main menu when you are on the last main menu item and press left 2 times - how cool

i also have the 2004 version of Fallen, and i bought it in Italy, so this version isn't send only in US. And there the track-list features only 11 tracks, ba on the cd.cover, there's a sticker witch say " Featuing the hits Bring me to life, My immortal, Going Under plus bonus track My immortal (band version) ;)

I have two Fallen Cd's both have the Band version of MI. They look exactly like the 2003 release of it. I don't know where you got that picture with the Logo in the middle and big. Maybe it was a rough draft of it. Who knows.

Anyway about the Dvd. I had heard about it on Evboard so I searched there and found out how to do it. It was a really awesome performance.

*Waits for somebody to start talking about how if you rewind on Origin you get a bonus track too*

That CD was supposed to be a limited edition CD. That cover up there was the limited edition cover. I've seen that cover at my local music stores before. It was in 2004. On the CD that I was with the darker coer the logo was where it is on the 2003 release.

Oh and if you rewind track 1 on "Origin" and get the "Anywhere Outtake" that doesn't mean it's an original. Just to let you know.

My version of Fallen has the bonus version of My Immortal on too, but then I only got it last year.
I searched and found the easter egg on ABH, thanks for pointing it out everyone! But is it me, or is the timing a little off? Not taking anything away from the performance, it was a great performance but, to me, the timing looked just a little off. Could be me though.

The timing might be off because of how the performance was shot. When the awards aired, it was a taped performance. So rather than coming off like a live performance...it was more like a music video.

Yeah that was the impression I got from watching it. Despite hearing the fans, the way the video was shot did come across as a music video rather than live performance.

Okay, I found this one day, and I watched it and loved it and then I didnt know how to find it again so I spent 6 months searching for it. One day, I sat on the remote and it went to the performance and I figured out how to get it and I watch all the time.

Wow way to quote Amy... and commit thread necromancy. TODSacrifce, it's easiest to do on the computer because you just have to like hover over the area, but for your DVD player when you have the disk in just hit the left arrow on your remote (I have to do it twice) and the "e" symbol will light up to the side. I finally got Anywhere But Home! yay! Lol I'm so slow for these things. I've only been a fan for one year though, so I guess I'm not so far behind. Yeah, I'm slow at getting these things haha:|

Ditto, but I didn't get the ABH DVD yet... I'm still waiting to find it somewhere. Anyone got a clue where I can buy it? Message me if ya know? :bangshead:

:) I found it my third day being stupid with the dvd, I have OCD so I kept clicking the back button :P Then BOOM ev symbol appears *clicky click* lol
