yeah i just heard about this concert on the radio tonight and the station gave away 2 tickets, i tired to call in but i didn't get them, grr....evclub hasn't even posted anything about this yet and the presale is on thursday, i need to know the password for the presale so i can get myself some tickets!! some one needs to update evclub more often cause we r not getting the info there like we should :(

I'm pretty excited for this show because I didn't get to go to the show on October 5th. Stone Sour touring with them is a bonus as well, even though I'm kind of surprised to see them touring together.

Im sooo happy they are playing at the ACC, as I am friends with head of security there & get moved for every show Ive been to. *crosses fingers that she will get backstage* .. O M G

okay, honestly, I'm a loser. I've never actually been to a concert and I don't know what's best, how early to show up, ect.

I'm worried about getting floor seats and not being able to see anything and being banged around really bad... but I want to be as close as possible. Also, are thier chances for meet and greet type things at these?

Gah. I really don't know what I'm doing or how these things work. And does anyone know how the Air Canada Centre is going to be set up? (360 degree stage, all seats, standing, ect.)

EDIT AGAIN: I'm not sure how many tickets I want. If I bought 4 and ended up only needing 3, can you sell the last one on ebay, or is that illegal? (I'd just want to get my money back)

amie, Air Canada Centre is like a huge hockey rink, with the stage at the end. so the general admission area is as big as the hockey ice, ITS HUGE...but its also ev, so its not like people are going to mosh around or something.

at the ACC, if you're lucky, you can get seats right beside the stage, waaaay to the side. the seating charts are decieving, it looks like your close, and you get there, and even though your ticket says front row, you're like 200 feet from the stage. ACC can be a bitch like that.

so, I would go for GA, but come early. stay overnight with the rest of us XD

okay, I just found out the only way to get presale tickets for this show...is through evclub. and you get a personal code, so you can't share it, and there's a 2 ticket limit.

phew, for once, evclub pulls through...I was starting to think I completely wasted money with it. YAY!

the other venues (that arent ticketmaster) all have the same generic password I think.

also..I dont think Im going to be going to quebec. maybe montreal...urgh. its just...it takes like 8-10 hours to get there, and its going to be snowing...and yeah. not sure I'll be able to. montreal is in the grey area for now, and ottawa should be a go. skipping some of school tomorrow to get tickets.

you can resell your ticket on ebay , I sold 2 tixs to the show at the KoolHuas on ebay because I ended up winning a pair.
You might not get a lot for it though...considering this is a big(ger) venue so chances are people will be able to get tickets to the show

awww *heart sinks to feet* I reaaaally want to go to a concert and I was really hoping they'd be going to Toronto sometime between the end of april and first of september (when I have summer vacation)

I'm actually from PEI but my Dad said I could possibly fly to Toronto for a show if it wasn't during school.

you're SOL if you don't use evclub. because they give you a personalized password to use, limit 2 tickets for each member. but, I seriously doubt the tickets will sell out amazingly fast (but I said that last time too and ate my words) so who knows. and if you give away or sell your password to someone then evclub will like, ban your membership and such. they're being pretty prudent about it.

oh right, we should also smack ev's tour manager. canada in january? c'mon guys! then what? they do africa or south america in the summer?!? kind of poor planning. it makes it 10x harder to get someone to drive with me to quebec in the SNOW. :D

I've been in that section once, it's not so bad at the ACC the view there you can see everything. You should be ok. I couldn't get tickets to this show :-(. I was really looking forward to seeing them again too, well hopefully they'll stop by much music or something that way I can go there. If not I'll have to wait and hope that they come back again in the summer or something :-(. But have fun at the show though.

I was able to floor tickets this morning, but the only problem is I have no one to go with to the show. My friend's friend who I went with to the Kool Haus doesn't want to go ugh :-(. And my other problem is all my other friends who said they would go with me aren't sure if they can go that day which totally sucks. I really wanted to go to this show, they were so amazing at the Kool Haus, but I guess I'm going to have to wait and just hope that they'll come back again in the summer or whatever :-(. But have fun at the show.

on the pack of amy's subject, i went as an amy for concert 2 at moslon... maria did awesome face paint on me i had these like weird tears going down the side of my face from my eye, and it sprouted into this coily creepy butterfly wing looking thing, it was friggen awesome - i was gonan do it again for kool haus but maria didnt have the time to paint me! so, ya, Im totally down for being an amy!

not too sure, they may pretty well end up at much/edge, but i think they are gonna take a break and relax cuz they did a publicity tour before and during the mini tour they did before the large one theyre starting

It would be awesome if they came back to Much/Edge, but I highly doubt it.. like fallen_angel said, they already did a ton of publicity for TOD & the tour they are on right now
but a girl can dream! lol ... im going to ask my friend who works at Much/City TV if she can harrass whoevers in charge to get them back :D it would be nice if the whole band could do a show too. Dont get me wrong, I loved MOD with just Amy, but it would be cool if all the guys could be there...maybe even a performance? who knows!

Thanks, yea that's one of my favourite songs off the album actually I recently learned how to play it on guitar :-). Good point though. I'm gonna try and get floor tix hopefully they won't sell out by tuesday nite, or else I'll try ebay. Because yea I REALLY wanna go to this show, even though that means missing my class but it's the first day so who cares lol. I mean come on now it's EV and plus it would be a great early b-day present

But I do hope they come back in the summer or something, I hope this time they'll have time to stop by the edge or even much music.

It would be awesome if they came back to Much/Edge, but I highly doubt it.. like fallen_angel said, they already did a ton of publicity for TOD & the tour they are on right now

its hard to say whether they'll do autpgraphs before and/or after, the ACC is HUGE so they probably can make it so the tour buses don't have to park near the lineup at all. and if they do come out before...they'll do it early. so that there's not thousands of people.

I think there's a very VERY good chance they'll go to the edge, even if its just to hang for a bit and do autpgraphs. they've been there after every show so far, am I right? even in 2004 they went back in july to the edge again, after having just been there a month ago for the mmvas.

and hey, hopefully they do muchmusic too. if they do an I&I I will be soooooo happy!!!! but I'm happy with anything. ^_____^

Like you really touches the part of a person grieving a loss. One of my friends cried many times after hearing that song, and still to this day, it bothers her still. Amy does such an amzing job at wording those inexplainable feelings. I don't think i'd necessarily be worried. It seems to me that maybe the song is helping her grieve, i mean maybe she hasnt fully come to terms with it, and has now found something she can relate to? i'd keep an eye on her but i think shes just growing up and learnign how to cope... dont get urself too worried, things should be ok :)

yes floor is general admission, however, they have to put seat numbers on all tickets just to keep track. you won't have a seat, don't worry! :D

yes it is worth it to go and see ev! not all the tickets are GA so you may be able to get seats if you want. any chance to see ev is more than worth it!!!

the only other place you would be able to find tickets besides online is probably from ticketmaster, if you actually have one where you live. you could always phone ticketmaster also.

ticketmaster has a huge number of retail locations, ie inside a sunrise records... manulife centre, acc, skydome, etc, theres outlets everywhere, if u go to ticketmasters website and click retail locations, u can browse the closest one to you. yes there still are tickets left on ticketmaster, as well as craigslists and ebay, but craigslist and ebay are both iffy cuz u may not find anything close to the actual cost, usually tickets are double if not triple on those sites... heres the ticketmaster link to their retail locations: http://www.ticketmaster.ca/h/tcentres/on.html

edit: and I know this is completely irrelevant now, but I read some old posts from that thread...and that crazy mother right? well, sept 25 when amy went to muchmusic/the edge, we got to muchmusic at about 11:30am, and the only person there... was that crazy mother! she'd been there since 7am. and yeah, we talked with her, etc. and it was cool. then we went to the edge, and we were about as far left as you could be, and she stood behind us with her daughter. and at some point, we had ALL got autographs from amy, except this one girl. so me and some people let the girl come forward to get an autograph, and the lady has a BF!! she was yelling at us all about cutting off her kid...and Im like...omg...you've been here all day...I saw your kid get a photo and hug and autograph from amy...relax!! and yeah. then my friend is like 'OMG CANT WE ALL GET ALONG???' and it was so hickish of her to say, and everyone shut up after that. and the daughter said something like 'who cares I dont like them that much anyways' and they left. and muchmusic said they were 'regulars' so obviously that lady goes to like, every concert uber early. I just thought it was ironic she spazzed about people cutting her kid when at the kool haus her kid cut everyone.

ohhh, nena, I actually have NO IDEA who that guy was, but I know the kid. from what the 2 were talking about at muchmusic (they were in the front row beside me) they were really bitching about things. like the security guard, about other people pushing them...etc. I actually remember the mother YELLING 'come outside' and whatever (which I didn't get, cuz amy came outside A LOT) and then when people would like, say stuff like 'wow so loud' or 'omg my ears!!' she would be like 'IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DONT COME' and then...she'd get so pissed people were pushing. kinda hypocritical. just like the cutting.

Yeah she tried to get into a fist fight with this one girl (possibly 15 years old or so) but she got pulled away and nearly hit me. (Yes @ Kool Haus) I grabbed her arm and pushed her away and told her to grow up. This was all taking place during "Going Under" I was very annoyed. The daughter was crying and yelling at her mom to stop. Luckily security came and took them away. I felt bad for the daughter. What a jerk!

i wish i would have just stayed when i went there the night before. lol but we went back to the hotel to attempt to sleep...and instead i was so restless i threw sushi all over the room at 3:30am (oh god, hope no one on here works at that hotel in toronto....lol) and then we went to the kool haus at 9am. i was very surprised to see about 15 people there already. ah well the wait paid off, front and center baby! :D

I was surprised to see people there at 9 am too. my dad dropped me and my friends off, and since we couldn't see the line from the road we didn't think anyone was there, and my dad was freaking out saying we weren't staying alone, then we see the line and I'm like 'see I told you we wouldn't be first'. hahah- I do love being right.

I still can't decide what to wear :(

I might throw on lots of ev merch under all my other jackets and whatnot. I did want to wear an amy lee dress, but I havent made it, and we're looking at like, 6 or 7 weeks :P so I dunno. I'm to broke to make a dress. :eek:

we should all bring thermoses of hot chocolate and cider and whatever else. is there any stores or anything near ACC? I know there's that weird inside train station thing, thats it.
