i am not talented enough to make a video, but i have visuals in my head that i think would go well with the band. they should do a live performance video. i think if "the only one" was a single, the live video would be amazing. they could use like slow motion and matrix type filming when amy is singing "we're all grieving, lost and bleeding" (like show the crowd jumping in slow-mo) i don't know, just a thought. i think a live vid would kick ass.

Nice idea for a thread.
Carmen and I have kind of played off the idea of a video for Lacrymosa a fair few times.

How I picture it is:
The song opens on a huge ball room with Amy in a large white dress in a huge chair at the head of the room, (style of the door on the cover of TOD) the room being filled with a Masquerade Ball which moves in time with the mode changes of the song. Occasionally flicking back to Amy singing ofcourse.
At the first cut-in of the guitars and band, Doors at the end of the room fly open and a guy in a black mask walks in at the other side of the room and the dancing gets a little more hectic.
Amy's singing the lyrics on and off as the song goes on, and as this guy gets up to Amy it gets to the first read of the line "Nothing can hold you back now". The guy kneels and offers out his hand to step onto the floor.

Here's where it gets interesting, cut scenes from Amy and the mystery guy dancing in the centre of the room, the band playing on a raised platform/balcony and scenes of Amy in a medievil looking bedroom screaming and crying the lyrics out for unknown reasons. All very mysterious that way.

As the next chorus cuts in, mid way through Amy pushes the guy off his feet yelling the remainder of the chorus and running through the dancers still continueing unfazed.
She runs through the large doors at the end of the room and as she turns back, the guy gets to his feet and slowly reaches to take off his mask, the song ends at seeing the mask drop on the floor and Amy's face looking scared/shocked. Much like the end of Going Under in a way. But you never get to see who the guy was, I don't know, maybe it was John.

But yeah I have that whole video strung out in my head like a disease, I just think it would look stunning but I'm pretty sure Lacrymosa won't be a single so dream on I guess.
Hope you guys like the idea, spent a bit of time thinking that up on holiday, and might do a small photoshoot depicting the idea soon.

Leave some feedback as I'd like to know what some of you think. :)

Hey, that's like almost how I imagine Lacrymosa, minus the bedroom scene, and at the end, Amy runs outside and then the man comes, standing in "The Open Door-way", after he takes off his mask the ballroom is consumed by forrest and the dancers turn into statues, Amy turns her head back to face the man and looks almost dissapointed in him. You do see the guy's face, he's a jerk. XD

Seems a few people had a simerlar idea! Or at least the same base idea. Maybe it's a sign Amy should come on here and announce we are all geniuses and that she's making the video immediately. :)

Kerny's idea pretty much came across from my input too. One little tiny difference I would make to what Kerny said though was the when the guy takes off his mask, he drops it into water somehow and there's a shot of it sinking. Yes, sinking not floating. It would show how Amy is drowning all that used to be part of her life that she didn't want. Small add but it would have such an effect.
It would be pretty darn cool to have your fans in the credit of a video. *dreams on*

I have an idea for My Immortal, thou it hath been released if there will be a second shot. The hall idea is a funeral and Amy is very sad and crying over her one, which is laying beside his tombstone, which has the carving My Immortal and the hall process is going like a funeral and in the end, Amy would wake up and just run towards her beloveth...
Not that kind of a sad video, eh?

For some reason I picture an ice city and snow when I listen to The Only One, I think something like that would be a cool vid for it, and yeah I know Lithium has snow but so what.

I was listening to Even In Death and had this video idea:

It is the time period where people still believe in witches. It is nightfall and Amy is wandering outside, hearing the the voice of the one she loves. She sees his shadow, hears his voice, and she follows them.
Villagers are after her because of the insane things she does. They think that because she can hear these voices and see these things, she must be a witch. They are determined to kill her.
She continues to follow the voices and such to the graveyard, where she finds his grave. She sees a shovel nearby, likely left by someone who was digging a grave, and she picks it up and goes to her loved one's grave. As soon as that awesome guitar solo starts, she begins to dig and dig. Her dress (why wouldn't she be in one) becomes soiled as she digs for the coffin. She opens the coffin, finding that he is in fact dead, and she was wrong. The villagers find her and take her away, but she struggles, reaching out to her loved one. She is screaming and crying to get away, but they take her. They tie her to a stake and light a match. The fire starts burning and her dress is now on fire. Right before she dies on the stake she says "Even In Death, real love is forever", Then it shows one lost shot of the dead body in the grave. The end.

May need some improvement. I just jotted it down as fast as I could before I forgot the concept. I wouldn't mind hearing some details added. :)

video concept ideas from me.

heres mine:
1. i love the video for "lithium" but there was only one thing i would have changed in it and that would be to have it rain instead of snow.


2.i just came up with this today: for a video to the song "imaginary" would be entirely animated. maybe with a realistic look to it but also maybe with an anime look to it maybe even similar to the linkin park video for "b reaking the habit".

EDIT:
this would be during the ending part of "tourniquet" with the violins and and stuff, we have amy standing in a field of flowers, for some reason if they were yellow it would work really good, it would be sunset and thered be a breeze blowing and she'd also have her eyes closed. the camera would then zoom in for a close up and pan around amy while covering up the background and then when it came all the way around it would zoom out and and the setting would change to amy on top of a building standing at the ledge and then she opens her eyes and realizes whats going on and steps back down from the ledge.


3. the video concept for the song "missing" ive had for a while and here it goes:
the video would be similar to the video for "my immortal" but only in the fact that it would be in black and white. it would involve amy and a random guy and her basically following him around during the course of the video but she would be transparent kind of like a ghost so he would basically be ignoring her as if she wasnt even there the whole time even if she was right in front of him. this is one reason why id want the video in black and white. this is just the basic premise of the video and i actually do have other details but im too lazy to type them.

I effin LOVED kerny's idea for "Lacrymosa".

Ive had a few ideas for songs from Fallen that i sent to the label and they said they were really good but the ideas Ive sent werent most likely gonna be single. :(

For Snow White Queen i hadnt really thought it out completly but heres what I have so far.

So its Amy in her house right, and shes sitting in a giant empyt room sitting on the floor reading these letters(from the stalker probably) and as the first chorus comes around a shadow darts across the room. Amy jumps up and starts getting paranoid and starts packing up a backpack so she can leave, as she heads out of her house she passes rooms a shadow comes out of the rooms. Amy starts to notice and gets in her car to leave but her car doesnt start and as she reaches the bridge "Im losing My mind..." she looks up on her ceiling of the garage and theres this weird symbol(of the stalker) so she gets out of her car and runs into this empty town and its snowing duh. haha. and shes reaches the last "All i want is you" Amy falls to the ground and she turns around and sees a figure in a long cloak.

Its not that great because i havent really spent any time on it as i should have but its still a work in progress.:rolleyes:

Okay, here is a script idea for "The Only One". I came up with this video idea myself, although I did read Symbiont's idea about this song, and it did fuel my idea a bit. So he/she deserves some credit as well, for completing this idea for me, and making it more interesting.

They find a back door out of life

Okay, so the video starts out with Amy, in a dark dungeon. A few chandeliers come crashing down when she says “when they all come crashing down”. She climbs up a spiral staircase, and when she says “a back door out of life”, she reaches the top of the stairs, and finds a doorway. She pauses for a moment, and then opens the door and walks through.

We’re all grieving
Lost and bleeding

The scene changes here as Amy is surrounded by total darkness, on her hands and knees, crying. Then, immediately before the chorus, she opens her eyes and looks up. Then the scene changes back to her opening the door atop the spiral staircase.

All our lives
We’ve been waiting
For someone to call our leader
All your lies
I’m not believing
Heaven shine a light down on me

Amy walks through the door, and finds herself in the huge throne room of a great castle made entirely of ice. She walks to the center of the throne room, singing the chorus brightly and brilliantly. You can now see her long, beautiful, white dress.

Never understood this life
And you’re right I don’t deserve
But you know I’m not the only one

Amy explores the throne room of the ice castle more thoroughly, discovering beautiful treasures on the walls all around her. She appears confused, and visions flash before her, of a fierce battle between good and evil armies, with John and Terry as the lead generals (followed by Rocky and Tim).

Lost and bleeding
(This time the choir is singing in the background like they do in the end of “Everybody’s Fool”)

Amy falls to her knees on the ice floor, and prays as if somebody is in front of her. Then, she gets back onto her feet.

Amy is back on her feet now, and she begins to move around the room a bit faster now, her feet sliding gracefully on the ice floor. She makes her way over to a window (although there is no glass window or screen there, just a square hole in the wall that looks like a window), and looks outside, staring up at the sun as it beams its powerful light down upon her.

Don’t look down
Don’t look into the eyes
Of the world beneath you
Don’t look down, you’ll fall down
You’ll become their sacrifice
Right or wrong
Can’t hold onto the fear
That I’m lost without you
If I can’t feel, I’m not mine

(Once again, the choir sings in the background here, throughout the bridge)

Amy climbs out the window and stands on a ledge outside. She opens her arms wide and holds them up towards the sun, as if she was worshipping it. Then, the view shows below her, where John, Terry, Rocky, and Tim are generals fighting a fierce battle, along with several other men, who play the role of being soldiers. As the fight goes on, several dark clouds appear and cover up the sunlight. At the end of the bridge, Amy shows a saddening look, crawls back inside the throne room, and continues to sing.

Amy slides gracefully on the ice floor once again, as the frown on her face at the beginning of the chorus slowly turns into a smile, and the sunlight outside slowly begins to reappear. At the end of the final chorus, Amy sits down on the ice throne, and smiles as a gold crown appears on her head. At the very end, it shows the guys and all their soldiers, with the sun shining brightly above them, and the fighting has stopped.

I had an idea for "The Only One" that might work...and it's semi-interactive.

It starts with Ev performing the song in an empty arena.

I think it'd be cool to have Evanescence fans and perhaps some celebrity friends lip-synch "You know I'm not the only one"...and then by the end of the video they all come together in a live venue to see Ev perform the last piece of the song.

It's kind of on the same wavelength as Johnny Cash's video in that people from all sorts of different backgrounds would play a part to give you an idea of how amazingly diverse Ev's fanbase is.

And it would all play off of that one line in the song.

Well, I've had an idea for a Tourniquet video for quite a while now, and it was actually the inspiration for the story I'm writing. But actually, it's um...it's kind of like Haunted and then continues into Tourniquet. So, in Haunted, during the first strains of music, Amy picks up the phone. then

"Long lost words
Whispered slowly to me" and her expression gets scared and kind of grave and she's trembling.

"Still can't find what keeps me here." and during the "aahhhhaaahhhh" part, she hastily hangs up the phone.
She runs around the house locking all the doors and windows. By the time you hear the beeps before the chorus, she's locked the front door, and shels leaning against it breathing heavily.

And then the chorus starts and the camera takes it to the window nearest Amy and the view outside is John standing there (what? he's the cutest...) and looking alll creepy and he's walking towards Amy's house and he's like trying banging on the windows and trying to get in and being creepier and then goes to the door and starts banging and it looks like its going to give, so by the second "i won't let you pull me down" she's starting to cry and she pulls this big-ass sofa and blocks the door with it.

k, i'm too lazy to describe the rest of the video, so here's the story: john gets in somehow, and he's being scary and amy's freaking out and she threatens to call the cops, but john pulls out a knife and stuff, and advances towards amy. amy gets pushed against a mirror and it breaks and she manages to push him to the opposite wall but then john is stronger, so kind of switches places with amy and they're still fighting with the knife. then, john's eyes grow all wide and amy looks scared-er than ever and by the very last beep of the song, john slumps down to the floor in a bloody mess.

so by tourniquet, she's on the floor crying over john's dead carcass and spazzing. her arms and shirt are covered in his blood and stuff. then she feels a sting and realizes that she cut her own arm with the knife, but couldn't tell the diff with all the blood and stuff. so she's lost her mind at this point and she's ripping up pieces of her own skirt and making a tourniquet with them. she's dragging the body all over the house and she's praying and stuff and she cut herself a lot more and there's blood and scars all over her arms. then the cops come in and they put handcuffs around her and she's screaming "christ christ" and stuff. they drag her off to jail and you see her in orange coverall with her black hair loose and she screams "I WANT TO DIE!" (cuz it's Tourniquet) and she's still praying, drawing crosses all over the prison wall and stuff. she manages to cut more and goes crazier. there's a little flash to john's funeral with amy a few feet away in her coveralls crying and bloody. and at the very end of the song covered-in-blood amy cries herself to sleep on the prison floor.

This is completly horrible. I'll probably do some major editing on my video idea...but for now...I'm just gonna leave it how it is.

(If you don't want to read through this, the video is about Amy who is haunted by her past yet she is sick of it. A mirror resembles her past. And the labryinth she is shown wandering through is like her world that is crumbling down weighing down apon her. Amy goes through confronting the mirror and a guy who resemble her past. The mirror and the guy are basically the same thing if you read my music video idea.) :) Hope you like it.

Alright I have a video Idea for
Weight of the world.

So it starts of as Amy wandering through some sort of Labryinth.
As Amy enters a dead end to the part of the labryinth she sings.
"Feels like the weight of the world
like God in heaven gave me a turn"

- It then cuts to another dead end of the labryinth-
-then it cuts back to amy wandering towards it-
As amy reaches the dead end previously mentioned, she notices a blurry melted mirror at the end of the dead end. Amy walks through it and then the scence turns to a flash back of Amy and some guy. The guy is trying to compromise with Amy over something and Amy wont have any of it.
she then sings this in the flash back scene.
"don't cling to me, I swear I can't fix you
still in the dark, can you fix me?"

After that scene it cuts back to the present where Amy is in the labryinth. She then wanders away from the mirror and all of a sudden the ground shakes beneath her and she starts to fall.
It shows Amy Falling
-melted clocks and mirrors float in the air from which she is falling through-
Amy is then shown singing
"freefall, freefall, all through life"

-The scene is then switched to Rocky,Terry,John and Tim all in different parts of the labryinth they are all stuck in a dead end.
The scence is cut between all members it shows Rocky playing the drums.
Amy is shown singing.
"If you love me, then let go of me
I wont be held down by who I used to be"

-Amy then wanders over to the same mirror in the labryinth and sings to her reflection.
"she's nothing to me"

Then the scene is cut to John playing the guitar and rocky on the drums.
Then it zooms up to Amy who is walking through a labryinth that starts to fall apart. Vines and leaves start to fall to the ground behind and in front of her.
"Feels like the weight of the world"

-it then cuts back to her falling when the ground gave in awhile ago.-

-The scene is quickly directed back to her walking back through the labryinth still falling apart-
"like all my screaming has gone unheard

During "and oh I know you don't believe in me." It shows Tim,Rocky and John Rock'n away.
-but then it cuts quickly between all members and Amy singing that line.

Amy is then shown running through the labryinth...until she finds a darkend corner
She finds the guy in her flash back to be hiding within the shadows in a corner of a dead end of the labryinth. Amy then sings to him.
"safe in the dark, how can you see?"
The ground starts to shake again and the guy looks up worried because he knows he's going to fall.

The scene is then switched back to Amy in the Falling scene.
"freefall, freefall, all through life"

-The scene is then turned to Rocky playing the drums and Amy back at the mirror where she first had a flash back she sings into the mirror.- *She does not enter the mirror this time*
Angrily she sings to the mirror.
"If you love me, then let go of me
I wont be held down by who I used to be "

During the instrumental part is shows Amy falling, Then Running throught the broken down labryinth. That is now looking more broken down then before.

It then shows Amy by the mirror of her past. (The mirror is shown shattering) Singing the higher Ahhhhhh. Then the focus swiches to the mirror that shattered and a black gas like substance seeps into the air. And the focus then quickly zooms out and then it goes back through the labryinth looking like we are looking through Amy's eyes. And the pieces of the labryinth that have fallen are then falling upward (if that makes sense) back to make the labryinth appear not falling apart.

-The focus is then switched to Amy laying in a pile of vines from the scences where the labryinth was falling down, and glass from where the mirror shattered.-
"If you love me, then let go of me"
-Pieces of the shattered mirror are then shown coming together to form the guy who Amy has seen through out the movie.-
Amy then sings angrily to him.
"I wont be held down by who I was"

The scene is then cut back to her falling.
also it shows the band playing, with the labryinth falling apart behind them.
"If you love me, then let go of me"->(shows Amy laying in the vine and glass pile again)

-It then shows Amy furiously singing again to the guy-
"I wont be held down by who I used to be"

The scene fades out and into the completly broken labryinth. Amy and the band exit the broken labryinth. Then the final scene emerges and shows a brand new labryinth that's not destroyed and the mirror still inside the labryinth-unbroken.

I have an idea for Snow White Queen, actually. I've gotten some positive feedback on it, so I'll post it...it's kind of long...

Snow White Queen – Video Concept

Intro

Amy dressed as a very innocent-looking Snow White is walking up a hill near a forest. The shot is practically straight out of the Disney Snow White. Just before the singing starts, there is a brief shot of a hooded figure in the shadows watching Amy.

Stoplight lock the door

Amy sits down by a tree and starts to read a book. Split-second shot of her in a dark hallway of a castle reaching for a door handle before cutting back to the happy, sunny scene.

Don’t look back

Fast cut to the dark hallway where Amy looks over her shoulder and then opens the door and goes in. Camera does not follow.

Undress in the dark

Cut to Amy turning a page in her book, cut back to frightened Amy closing and turning a key in the door she walked through previously. We do not see what kind of room she is in.

And hide from you, all of you

Amy breathes a sigh of relief against the door. Cut to Disney scene. A shadow comes over Amy and her book and she looks up.

You’ll never know the way your words have haunted me

A black-gloved hand slowly takes hers, and she smiles. Cut to a shot of Amy illuminated just singing “have haunted me” to the camera.

I can’t believe you’d ask these things of me

Slow shot of the gloved hand bringing Amy’s up in an obvious position where s/he will kiss it. Cut to illuminated Amy singing “you’d ask these things of me” to the camera.

You don’t know me (now and ever)

Illuminated Amy continues singing; emphatic motion on “don’t”. “Now and ever” cut to Disney scene and Amy’s smile fades to an uncertain look as the gloved hand caresses her wrist (which is now resting on her knee). We never see more than the hand of the person she is interacting with.

Cut to scene of Amy in black in front of the whole band rocking out, singing.

Fast cuts of black-gloved hands caressing her wrist, then her arm, then her face, then pulling her hair away from her neck/ear.

Continuing shot of the above; cut to SW Amy turning her face away, her expression shows that she hates the feel of the person’s hand and wants to be anywhere but there. Second “I can’t scream” cuts back to Amy sitting up in bed with her hand on her forehead.

I can’t escape the twisted way you think of me

Camera shifts to the side so we can see SW Amy close to hyperventilating, saying the words. Fast cut at end of phrase to a shot of the gloved hand caressing her wrist from the dream; back to Amy who winces as if she remembered that part right then.

I feel you in my dreams and I don’t sleep

SW Amy lies back down on her side, facing the camera, one arm underneath her head, the other clutching the sheet to her chin. Her eyes fill with tears and it’s obvious that she’s not going to sleep anytime soon. (it should be noted for the less honorable minds that Amy is still clothed in her Disney-ish Snow White outfit this whole time)

Cut to the band rocking out again, cut then to SW Amy really running through a different castle hallway.

There’s nowhere to run, so let’s just get it over

Band shots again with Amy singing.

SW Amy runs through an open door down a flight of steps into a spacious room with columns on the side. Directly across from her is another door. Cut on “just like me” to band shot where Amy sings directly to the camera.

SW Amy stops in the middle of the room and doubles over, catching her breath.

‘Cause all I want is you

Fast shot of a hooded figure from behind, split-second zoom-out to show more than one person in said hooded capes.

Can’t save your life, though nothing I bleed for is more tormenting

Shots of Snow White Amy singing, close to tears, as she catches her breath.

I’m losing my mind

Amy goes to the door and pulls on the handle, but the door won’t budge. She is still singing.

And you just stand there and stare as my world divides

On “stand,” Amy slowly turns around and her expression changes from desperate to horrified.

Closeup of black-gloved hand pointing at Amy. Camera cuts out to show not one, but five people in black capes, the hoods down, in a V on the steps. The four behind the main person are the guys in the band. The main person is either a really evil-looking Amy or a very dolled-up blonde prince (I can’t decide which idea I like better).

They start to descend the stairs, knowing that SW can’t go anywhere.

There’s nowhere to run, so let’s just get it over

SW backs up against the door and closes her eyes tightly as if to block it all out. Evil Amy/prince sings the “let’s just get it over” line.

Shots from different angles of the five people advancing, with Head Stalker (I don’t feel like typing Evil Amy/prince) singing still.

Don’t scream anymore my love

SW’s hand goes up a bit and grips the door handle tightly. Closeup of Head Stalker smirking.

‘Cause all I want is you

The handle on the door jerks downward from the pressure from SW’s hand and the door opens outward. SW almost falls through it, but catches herself and slams the door shut.

All I want is you

Head Stalker reaches the door and tugs at the handle and it doesn’t budge. S/he glowers at it. Shot of SW running full-tilt down another short flight of stairs and to the left.

All I want is you

One of the band members kicks the door open, all five of them hurry through.

All I want is you

Head Stalker looks around. Camera shot pans quickly, showing that there are about four different ways to go and there is no sign of SW anywhere. S/he looks down with an ironic half-smile.

Head Stalker and the band members go back through the door they came from. One of the band members looks around suspiciously before he finally goes through as well.

Outro

Shot of SW leaning against a wall, panting. She looks behind her, turns a corner and leans against the wall there and catches her breath fully. Right when the music ends, she turns a corner to the right and gasps. Right in front of her are the five stalkers. Video ends with a close up of Head Stalker’s mouth curling into a smile.


And there you have it. My original idea had seven people total, to perversely represent the seven dwarves, but I couldn't figure out who to put as the remaining three guys. And I still don't know if I like the idea of a super-evil Amy being the head stalker or a dolled up prince. Because if you think about it, in the original Snow White, the prince IS a little obsessive. He takes the coffin because he "can't live without her beauty" or something like that.

But yeah. Hope you like it. :)

THAT'S WHY THE GHOST IS HAUNTNG HER, BECAUSE HE THINKS IT'S AMY.)There are 5 kids, 3 guys and 2 girls outside the Haunted Mansion. They are all about 15 years old. 1 guy dares 1 of the girls to go inside the Haunted Mansion and to stay in there for 3 min. She says ok and walks into the house. She's in the hallway, and all she sees is doors. She picks the first door......

SCENE NUMBER 1 (SETTING) A bedroom and the walls are blood red with black candles. There is a king sized bed w/ black sheets, comforter and pillows. And there is a dresser that has a jewlery box, pictures of Amy and her ex (the ghost), and different perfume bottles. There is a record player in the room. The girl sees it and starts it. Now starts the song. (START) After the girl starts the record player she walks around the room. She moves to the dresser and smells some of the perfumes. The pictures then catch her eye because the guy in every picture is blinking. One minute he is there, the next he's not. She takes a picture, looks at it and then sets it back down. (AT THE STILL CAN'T FIND WHAT KEEPS ME HERE PART SHE OPENS THE DOOR AND STEPS OUT. WHEN AMY SAYS WHAT KEEPS ME HERE THE GIRL CLOSES THE DOOR.) She then goes out to the hall. (In the hall there are portraits) (WHEN SHE'S IN THE HALL AMY'S SINGING WHEN ALL THIS TIME I'VE BEEN SO HOLLOW INSIDE) Now she's walking down the hallway SLOWYLY. She stops for a moment.The camera zooms in on her head. She's looking in front of her. Then (WHEN SHE SAYS I NO UR STILL THERE) she looks behined her and see's the ghost of the guy. And screams. (52 seconds)

DUNGEON SCENE (SETTING) (THIS IS WHERE SHE IS SINGING THE CHORUS. BEFORE WE GET TO AMY THE KIDS HEAR THE SCREAM AND LEAVE.) (WHEN SHE SAYS I CAN FEEL YOU HOLD ME DOWN SHE LOOKS AT THE GUYS PIC.) Amy's the dungeon of the mansion. She's in front a table with like a map plan thingy in her hands. She then slams it on the table and un-rolls it. (On the table there are like ghost weapons.) She's dressed in combat boots, cargo pants, hair in a ponytail and braided (OR IN A PLAIN PONY TAIL) and a black tanktop. She looks tired and like it's been foever since she's eaten. She has her hands on her sides. On the table there is a picture of a guy (The ghost HAUNTING her. Ex-boyfriend who died.) While she is singing she's looking over the mapy thing with the plan on it. She takes some of the weapons into her hand, looks at the weapon and then sets it down on the table again. (26 seconds)

SCENE NUMBER 3: The girl turns around again and she goes into the closest room.(IN THE HAUNTED HOUSE THERE ARE A LOT OF ROOMS. SO WHEN SHE GETS IN THE HALL THERE ARE ROOMS ON EACH SIDE OF HER.) (SETTING) The bedroom has black walls and pictures of Amy (but the girl doesn't know Amy) and the Guy Ghost together. And the guy in the picture keeps bliking. One minute he's there and the next he's not. The curtains are slashed and the clouds can be seen. The dark sky. The only thing that is nice is the bed. It's made with black comforter that has gold designes on it, black pillows as well with gold designs and the same thing with the sheets. (END SETTING. START VIDEO) (MUSIC IS STILL PLAYING. 1:18 SECONDS IN TO SONG) The girl has just closed the door, so her back is still facing towards the room. Before she sings, she lets out a sigh. She turns around. (SLOWLY) Sitting on the bed she sees the ghost again looking at her. She walks toward the bed, there is a kinda big distance from the girl to the bed. (SHE STARTS TO WALK WHEN THE SONG'S AT I CAN SMELL YOU ALIVE.) When she approches him she hears a heartbeat. She looks around to see if she can hear where the heart beat is comming from. The heart beat gets louder and louder then she covers her ears. (YOUR HEART POUNDING IN MY HEAD PART.) (39 SECONDS)

CHORUS PART IN THE DUNGEON: She now is singing WATCHING ME, WANTING ME I WON'T LET YOU HOLD ME DOWN and she's puting 2 of the weapons on her belt and takes 1 into her hands. She then sets the weapon in her hands on the table. She takes the guy's picture and looks at it in last time and then throws it against the wall. (SAVING ME, RAPING ME WATCHING ME IS WHAT SHE IS SINGING WHEN SHE TROWS IT) (25 SECONDS)

BACK TO THE ROOM FOR THE ELECTRIC GUITAR PART (2:12 MINUTES INTO SONG) The girl runs out of the room. She slams the door shut. She runs to a different room. This room is a bit farther . (IT TAKES HER 10 SECONDS TO RUN TO IT AND TO DO THE STUFF THAT IS WRITTEN AFTER THE SETTING. TO LOOK BEHINED AND SLAM DOOR.)(SETTING: This one only has 2 windows, one on the left side of Amy and one on the right. But the window are big. They start from the floor and end about 4 inches before the ceilling. There is a chair in the middle of the room and a light that is flickering on and of above it.) She looks behined her one time to see if he is following her. She sees him comming and opens the door, gets in & slams it shut. (THIS PART ENDS AT 2:24 SECONDS. SO IT'S 12 SECONDS LONG FROM WHEN THE ELECTRIC GUITAR STARTS.) Now we are going to fighter Amy. She takes the weapon back into her hands and let's out a sigh. She walks towards the stairs, that lead up to the hallway. She walks up the long flight of stairs, holding on the zappy gun (HER WEAPON) tightly. She reaches the top and opens the door. As soon as she opens the door we switch back to the girl in the room. (AS SOON AS THE GHOST HEARD THE DOOR OPEN, THE ONE AMY OPENED, HE DISSAPEARS.) (AMY IS STILL NOT AT THE END OF THE HALL. SHE IS AT THE BEGINING WHERE THE GIRL WAS IN THE FIRST SCENE. WHERE THE FIRST BEDROOM IS.) (2:34. 10 SECONDS IS THE PART WITH AMY) The girl walks to the chair. She gets the an idea. (THIS HAPPENS WHEN AMY SINGS AH-AH-AH.) She takes the chair, throws it at the window and runs out. (THIS HAPPENS WHEN AMY SAYS I CAN FEEL YOU HOLD ME DOWN. AND OF COURSE THE WINDOW BREAKS. THIS PART IS 16 SECONDS AND ENDS AT 2:50 INTO THE SONG.) Now fighter Amy hears the glass breaking and runs to the room, hoping to find the ghost. (AT 2:53 AMY IS INFRONT OF THE DOOR.) She kicks the door open, hoping to find the ghost, but all she sees is the broken window. Amy throws her weapon down madly. Slides down, so now she's siting on the floor. She puts her hands to her face. When she looks up she sees The Ghost infront of her. She turns around to get the zappy thing, but by the time she looked infront of her again he's gone. (3:06)

i am not talented enough to make a video, but i have visuals in my head that i think would go well with the band. they should do a live performance video. i think if "the only one" was a single, the live video would be amazing. they could use like slow motion and matrix type filming when amy is singing "we're all grieving, lost and bleeding" (like show the crowd jumping in slow-mo) i don't know, just a thought. i think a live vid would kick ass.

Amy just give us a glance, charmed smile and go away...

Or that way... A small (maybe, not so small, but not big) boat is sailing in the fast river with cristal-clear blue water. In this boat is Amy playing piano and singing. She's going with the stream past banks. Nature around the river is beautiful and different...Eternal forest, then fields of flowers, then desert, then... Closer to the end it's raining (you know, why). On each bank there's one member of the band. They're watching at sailing Amy, and they have their own little stories...
That's my idea... Maybe, it's crazy and strange but I see video for this song this way. :)

I have a few that I though of when I was bored. There`s a Lies video, a Hello video, and a Tourniquet. They`re pretty long, so I`ll start out with Lies and probably put the rest later. You guys can take them if you want, I`m never going to do anything but dream. :)

In the beggining with the long intro, Amy (Or who ever) will be walking through this park-forest type space at night with the moon behind her, looking around her at one point. At the cool sound effect before the guitars and everything comes in, the picture will freeze and go through a thing where the picture of her will be switched for a second with a painting of her in the exact same position, then go back to normal. Then she satrts running. The scene now is a dude under a tree in the same park thing singing the guy`s part. When it goes back to Amy singing, she`ll be looking in a puddle at her self. Just when she starts singing "You Will Not Rise Above", she smacks her reflection with her hands and turns to see her family, who immediately starts dragging her away while she sings the chorus. It then shows the guy below the tree look up to see the girl`s family dragging her away while he sings. He is behind the family, in the direction they are dragging her. He apparently loves her, and gets up to run toward her to save her, but she breakes free and he stops. They both sing everything from "Rest in me" to "I will never forsake you" to each other as she runs away. As she sings the chorus two more times, her family captures her, and drags her to the circle of kindling and firewood, and throws her inside. Then they light it, and it catches on fire. The guy comes and yells his part to her, and she reaches to him out of the flames with her free hand. (One of her hands is all of a sudden chained to the ground) But her family takes him, and throws him off a nearby cliff as she watches and yells. Her other hand is now also chained to the ground. She sings the last chorus as her family stares at her. The sound effect similar to the one at the beginning of the song does that thing again, but this time, the painting is of her in the flames. As the song fades, she`s screaming and finally collapses in the flames, dead.

I know. It`s horrible.

I have an amazing idea for a video for Like You, but since I know it's never gonna be a single, I wont waste my time typing that.

One time I had a dream that I was watching the music video for Lose Control... it was Amy sleeping when all of a sudden she gets posessed and her eyes get all white and she starts doing some kind of dance next to her bed... creepy, but it was really cool in the dream, and I wrote about this in the "Ev Dreams" thread and someone said it wasn't a bad idea for a video. I really doubt that LC will ever be a single, but I can always dream...

i kinda had one for the only one. (amy's singing throught the whole thing) i've always imagined that at the bridge amy's running a cross a brige over a big drop off. then the brige brakes in half, amy hangs on and tries to climb up. she cautiously looks down and see shadows of whats below, they are they, waiting for her to fall. eventually she pulls herself up on the cliff the bridge was attached to.

I had an idea whilst driving in the car for a Snow White Queen video not so long ago. I have always wanted to see Sweet Sacrifice along with clips from "The Crucible," the play/movie about the Salem Witch Trials. It's just that when Amy goes "You poor sweet innocent thing, dry your eyes, and testify," it reminds me of the scene where the Salem girls where in the courthouse testifying falsely against women of the village, "She's a witch!" Check that movie out and you'll see that if combined with Sweet Sacrifice, you can make a great video.

I have the video of Lacrymosa in my mind. First: the environment:

Vienna of XVIII Century, where Mozart lived. Amy dress a long classic dress and big, amazing, big, opera theatre and in an atmosphere grey. An orchestra, a choir (appears when began the choir part) and Amy. At 1:30 enter the rest of the band. A bass solo at the beginning is make by Tim when there are professedly testing some song with the band but not Amy. Then it come an image of Amy and the orchestra over a stage. No public.

And need a storyline. Well, the storyline is Amy’s problem; I can’t imagine what Amy Lee thinks about this songs, but will like that treat about betray in the love relationship (in Austrian XVIII way of betray). Like a Balzac novel (those who have read novels of this French novel writer of XIX Centuries know what I talking about).

And some images after and before that song finally like in Sweet Sacrifice, in the part when Amy found the band members and there are looking one to others.

More persons and actors acting on the storyline video. It must have a storyline as Everybody’s Fool; but in XVIII Century. And secret things like Sweet Sacrifice.

i thought it would be cool for all of us Ev fans to come up with cool ideas for the video
and what we think will suit it! if were lucky enough, Snow White might even give this a read!:p
so put in your ideas and lets see what we come up with!

My idea is this:

opens in an old gothic cematery where a funeral is happening, the mood
of which is very depressing. when the into (narnia prt) stops and the song begins, it goes into the old gothic style church where everyone is sitting down, and Amy is up front in a beautiful dress sitting at the grand piano in front of everyone performing the song. throughout the video it cuts back to the funeral in the cematry showcasing the mood of the song.

I think Amy will eb wadering around an old abandoned church, then it will switch to a dark room where Amy is playing the piano, and it will alternate between those two scenes until she sings "pour real life down on me"
then everything gets brighter from the rising sun of dawn.

To be honest, I don't like it.
It kind of has no sense, plus the song is not sad,dark or anything to have any funeral included...
Anyhow, I don't like my idea THAT MUCH either, but I am almost sure it is gonna look like this,considering how DEAD the song can sound... (my opinion)

I couldn't imagine a video other than her singing in an empty dusty room,with the open balcony and a huge white curtain flying to the wind as Amy is playing the piano in her Open Door cover white dress - and sunlights are going through the balcony... And at the rain part she could be shown, along with the piano playing scenes, standing outside as rain is falling and she stands with arms wide open - and then a rainbow could appear at the end of the video as she say i can't say no...

Wow some awesome ideas.

I like the analogy of the wedding & funeral, to signify the union of the two extremes. The song is afterall a new beginning & an ode to what she originally thought of herself. Why not make that analogy with a funeral signifying the leaving behind of her old thoughts & the Wedding to usher in the new found freedom & belief that heralds the beginning of her thinking she is Good Enough, maybe even have Josh as the dude she is taking vows with. Also get the new band members involved in some way like when u do see the guys in a clear unfaded shot have the new guys out of picture & then pan out to show the new members & the wedding to show a more happy & serene ending, which could also signify the beginning of good things to come for Ev. Maybe the funeral shots could be in driving rain & dreary conditions & then when the wedding happens the rain clears & heralds a beautiful day.

Dont know it may sound a little corny, but its hard & will need to b thought out, but I am sure Amy has it covered, she is a genius afterall.

Good Enough is a great song, i hope the video is better than all our ideas!

I would love the whole 'Amy singing to Josh' idea. The video should have a lot of blueish/green color in it. I think those colors really depict the song the most. The church idea is okay, but i wouldn't buy into it, though. It wouldn't be appropriate IMO. Of course, the piano is mandatory, but i think curtains blowing in the wind would help the theme. Maybe Josh could be on the outside while Amy is singing to him from the inside of a house. Since Evanescence just loves to reuse spots in their music videos, this could kinda be like the part in the BMTL MV, when Amy is singing to that guy through the window (but the role is switched.)

Why does everyone want it to be some sad depressing video? I thought "Good Enough" was the lightest song on the album, bringing a little variation.

When I think of the song, the colour Yellow comes into my mind automatically. I'm not sure why, I think it's the least annoying bright and happy colour there is. And... (but don't laugh) I keep thinking of that mountain scene at the beginning of "The Sound Of Music" where it's so bright and refreshing. I could imagine Amy with a piano in the middle of summer on top of a hill or in a random field. Then, switching between that and Amy playing in a grande mansion house, singing infront of a huge mirror.

Or... alternatively, they could just use live shots of Amy playing at different gigs.

It opens up and writing fills the pages, then it goes to a page where there’s a moving picture which is amy and it then zooms into the page. And Amy starts to sing.
Then throughout the video it goes through different pages, each page is very different from the other, one amy could be standing in the rain, or just sitting in a bedroom. Idk.

Also I think it would be cool if one of the pages it showed Amy singing is it would zoom up on her, but at the same time, in a transparent like way it would show writing in the backround.

I think it would be cool if it had partly drawn parts - it could start as opening a book that looks like the booklet for The Open Door - with all those drawings and stuff like that - make it like a dark fairy or something and also those effects from the Lacrymosa promo clip for The Open Door - you know those like stripes,and keys and nice drawings? They could be throughout all the video...
And while the violin parts in the beginning are going you see a huge castle - and on every sound of the violin it goes dark and then a new image is shown - and you see someone running up the stairs - but you only see the shadow - it is some man - but you can't see who it is... And then when the singing starts you can see Amy standing at the top of the castle looking through the window- and couple of times through the video after some scenes you see pages turning - showing different scenes... (this must be confusing but I can't explain it better...) So after one page is turned there is like some kind of a gothic ball (sp?) with those masks - you know - and people dancing,the band is playing and also Amy Lee is there and she is in a black dress,wearing a mask also - and meeting some guy who kisses her arm,she smiles kinda evil-y - anyhow - Amy is a cheater in the video - a thief with a double personality,let's say... She disappears from the ball and cannot be seen ... Well can't think of it that much right now - but anyway - the guy from the beginning is looking for Amy through the castle cause he wants to kill her...
At the "now that you're gone,you see Amy in her white dress from The Open Door cover walking slowly in some kind of a huge hall - and she climbs up the stairs - to come to the huge door and open it - at the part where Amy sings "willing"... (the picture for Lacrymosa on the CD- where Amy holds the door open ... A huge light strikes through the door and the pages turn...
At the second chorus,right after it - it gets dark and then it gets heavy in the ballroom - only the band is seen and Amy is singing... At the "I can't change who I am..." Amy is in her room in the castle - she lights a candle and it gets very tense- you see the guy breaking through doors and searching for her - and before the last chorus you see the candle falling in slow motion and Amy lying on the floor as the guy runs to the door (in slow motion also) and on the last chorus you see his shadow looking through the open door into her room - which is full on fire - and a close view of Amy lying on the floor in the fire -singing - And you can blame it on me... And the ending would have some cool effects with quickly turning pages and quick images showing the band playing - the room burning,the guy trying to escape, Amy's evil smile from the ball - and at the end it might be her closing the door - and the book is closed right after it...
It might express the end of The Open Door era - you know - the door closes :P

wow these rock! now i want lacrymosa to be a single :) i love that phantom of the opera -lacrymosa vid idea. but the ending where the guy takes off his mask but you dont see the guys face. that would be shweet =D

well i had a video idea for Lithium in my head for quite long. I know the video has already been done last year, and well my idea is based on the real video.

At the beginning of the vid, we see Amy, dressed in a big white dress, playing the piano and singing the intro of Lithium in a snowy forest, like the one in the real vid. Then, just when the drums kick in right after the intro, we see a second Amy, dressed all in black, drifting towards the white Amy. The Black Amy sings the first verse (come to bed...), moving around the piano, while the White Amy plays it. Then the White Amy sings 'I can't hold on to me....' and the chorus kicks in.

During the chorus, the Black Amy sings the 'Lithium!' parts only, while the White Amy sings the other parts 'Don't want to lock...', 'Don't want to forget...', 'I wanna stay...'. During the first chorus, we see the Black Amy leading the White Amy by hand to some unknown location, with both of them singing along the journey.

Then just as the second verse comes (Don't want to let it lay me down this time...', which only the White Amy sings, we see that the Black Amy has brought them to a lake. The Black Amy gets in the lake until the water arrives up to her knees. While the White Amy sings, we see she hesitates into following the footsteps of the Black Amy. Then, while the White Amy sings 'Let me gooooooo!', she finally makes up her mind and gets in the water.

As soon as she gets in the water, everything around them goes dark. We see only the 2 Amys and the lake. During the 3rd verse 'Darling, I forgive you after all...', which the Black Amy now sings, the Black Amy starts hugging and caressing the White Amy's hair. The White Amy is uncomfortable until she looks in the Black Amy's face and see that the Black Amy's eyes have turned yellow. This happens when the White Amy sings 'I can't hold on to me...'

Convinced now that the Black Amy is evil, the White Amy pushes the Black into the water. This happens during the last chorus. The Black Amy screams 'Lithium!!!' while struggling in the water while the White Amy calmly sings 'Don't want to lock...' while looking at the struggling Black Amy. The struggle continues until at the very last part of the chorus, during the 'aaaaahhhh' part, the Black Amy lungs forward and grabs the White Amy hand in a final act of desperation. The White Amy very briefly holds on to the hand until she releases it, singing 'I'm gonna let it go'. The Black Amy sinks in the water, defeated.

The Black Amy represents the evil who is trying to seduce the good (The White Amy). At first, we see the White Amy is unsure of her right place, and let her being led to the lake (which is evil by the way). Then during the lake scene, the Black Amy is trying to seduce the White one, and the good Amy almost gives in, until she sees the true colors of the Black Amy (the yellow eyes). Knowing her right place is among the good, the White Amy pushes the black one. The struggling of the Black Amy in the lake shows the gain of strength of the White Amy, until the final scene, where the Black one is defeated.

This is how I picture the video for GE.

During the narnia intro, you can see Amy playing the piano on a dark empty theatre and on the back is a screen that projects a black and white video of the behind the scene from their concerts. Then as the actual intro to Good Enough plays, you can see Amy (if possible) along with Josh, dancing and also Terry and his wife (again if possible) and Tim and his girl and the new guys (if they are in there) with their girls dancing on a old fashion ballroom and it goes back and forth between the theatre scene to the ballroom scene. As she breaks into the chorus, the ballroom scene vanish into thin air and then the scene would transform to a garden where you can see her in a flower covered swing.

Well that's the only thing I could think of right now.

As someone who likes to day dream while I listen to music, I have always had a vision of what the Good Enough video could look like. It became my favorite song on the album ironically and I still listen to over and over. Because the My Immortal video is something that is something that has stuck with me, that has played a part in how I envision it. I always see it as a black and white video. I couldn't really explain the intro, but I don't think that'd be in the video. Amy's in an old house playin her piano, and when the chorus comes it would turn into one of those scenes where there are like a bunch of polaroids flipping one after the other. I dunno I guess I can't really explain it, but it's much better in my head. :þ

I'm not saying that the Evanescence videos are bad, I like them, but I wish they were more creative I guess. I think they could have done more with Lithium and Sweet Sacrifice. I'm looking forward to a Lacrymosa, All That I'm Living For, or Good Enough video.

Then the ghostly things edge towards the water and sorta pulls her as if they want her to join them in the water. She refuses to go but theyre very strong and so shes at the waters edge struggling. Afterwards, they manage to pull her into the water and they surround her and all u can see is black wings...then amy emerges from between them and she looks really dark with black wings and a black halo and things like that. -

I've just got this idea for CLoud Nine's video, and it won't go out of my head, so I'd like to share it... :)

OK, beginning - Creepy operatic music = We see the scenery of a cold shoreside (Like Lithium... :o) with dark water. Then we see a flash of Amy, dressed in all black, the Evil Amy (I will refer to her as EM :)) and we then focus on the river/lake/water body - Beneath it ......

First verse = Amy Lee, Innocent Amy (IM :)) under water, when Em comes there (suddenly darkening the water) and sings till "sleep, sleep forever." She is trying to coax IM to come to land, carressing her cheek and decieving her. *drums* Tim (Yup! My version of this includes John and Rocky too... x.x, and yes, the guys are underwater! :D) swims up to her, and sort of holds her, like trying to say to IM that she shouldn't go up. But she becomes angry and says/sings: "I don't need to touch the sky, I just wanna feel that high!" And John swims up to her, tries to convince her (quietly) not to leave the water and she moves away from them and says (Pointing to the whole band [Rocky and Terry are underwater too]) "And you refuse to lift me!"

B-Section = We see IM surfacing, the weather is freezing, steam is coming out from her mouth, and EM is standing at the shore, with an understanding smile. There is snow, and a dark forest behind her. She sings this part. Then she helps IM out of the water. In the backing vocals, when the voice ges "all along", the camera focuses on Amy's foot; the second it leaves the water, the water freezes and a think layer of ice comes across it. The sun goes down, and the whole atmosphere becomes cold. The ice is tansparent, we see the band looking at her from the frozen water.

CHORUS = IM lets go of EM's hand, and sits on the shore of the bank. She sings the chorus to tha band, referring to the atmosphere (all is lost) then regretfully stands up, and leaves them under the frozen water as EM leads her to the forest.

Creepy operatic music = EM drags her deep into the forest.

Verse 2 = IM makes EM let go of her, basically she is dragged in the forest by EM, and she sings the chorus to EM... EM laugh evilly, and since she's a witch (for the record, she's a witch, if I didn't mention it above :p) she transports them deeper into the forest. When she says the last lyirc (IM - "Never gonna be your sweet, sweet surrender") EM smiles in her evil way, and disappears (with some reminescent of darkness)..

B-Section (again): IM looks around: she is now standing on the cold ground, in the deep forest, with a small circular clearing. She now regrets her ignoring her guys' warnings, and her leaving the water. She sings to her surroundings: "Guess it wasn't real after all!" Toward the end, we see all the band members, walking behind the trees, away from IM.

Chorus: Like the B-Section, IM sings this to her surroundings as well. When she sings "no light to lead the way" we see sort of a side view on a light above Amy's head, that narrows, and black, possibly bleeding thorns come up in the area where there is no light, trying to kill Amy, but withering to ashes in the light... Small rays of light close on the guys, as they come closer to Amy, protecting them from the thorns. Then she sits down on a rock and sings the rest of the chorus... almost crying to herself...

Bridge: In "In a dream," IM looks around, feeling it all as a dream.. Now the bandmates appear, all of them: John, Tim, Terry and Rocky - surrounding Amy. She runs to Terry and Rocky: "Will you give your love to me?" They're very cold and distant in behaviour, like this is a lesson for IM, that she should understand. Over to John and Tim: "Beg my broken heart to beat." John stands looking all mean with his arms folded, the moment she turns away, he unfolds his arms, and his angry expression softens. Looks at the sky above, "Save my life." Then slightly tilting towards John and Tim, while holding her head (showing how weak she is now) "Change my mind." IM collapses, and John rushes over and picks her up in his arms before she hits the ground. EM sees that, from behind a tree, and is devastated..

Chorus: The guys spread, and run towards the shore - as the light, the only thing to keep them alive is dying slowly. They run at distances from each other, and John is running with Amy in his arms (who is conscious, but just too weak - she is singing to the band to keep them going) small rays of light follow and keep up with the guys, but they narrow down. BY the time they reach the shore "All alone - is where....." We see (the grande finale! *drumroll*) Josh sitting in the shore (Yes, our favourite therapist is in the video too! :D) And John hands Amy to Josh, and at the last sequence ("I belong"), they all dive back into the water. :D

Creepy operatic music (for the last time) - EM screaming, thorns catch her, she dies! :D

7 seconds before the song ends = IM is refreshed, reunited with her band and Josh, she looks happy, and grateful to be in the water again.. :D

I had a pretty cool idea for Your Star...

The setting is kind of an like an old-fashioned astronomy tower, with all these little models of the solar system and stuff, and the ceiling has paintings of constallations. Then there are these big windows, and the video starts with Amy gazing out of one of them, looking at the sky and singing.

Nerdy, but nifty in my opinion...

EDIT: I can also picture the Good Enough video...

Part of the shots would be in a big, bright, kind of ballroom-like room with sun streaming from the giant windows and Amy is playing at her grand piano and singing. Then part of them would be with Amy in her wedding dress, standing infront of a full-length mirror. That's how I picture it...

I see GE as Amy running in a field and singing while looking back at the camera and her playing the piano in a giant room just her with the light shinning through.

I had a dream the other I was watching the a video for Lacrymosa that EV made and it was Amy on a rooftop looking at a city as it was the end of the world. The sky was like a maroon color. and there was destruction all around the city, and Amy just watches. Tornadoes and thunder. Amy was wearing like a dirty off white color dress that was torn in some places and her hair was down just blowing in the wind.

She puts on a confused face and keeps on walking. She's silent but her reflection is singing the lyrics.

The blonde Amy puts her hands on the mirror and looks in the real Amy's eyes, confused.

Just as the blonde Amy puts her hands on her head and starts crying with the "what am I going to do?" gesture, her reflection (real Amy) punches the mirror.

The mirror slowly starts to break from the spot real Amy hit as the fake Amy watched terrified and the real Amy sings screaming.

As the mirror breaks into pieces and falls on the floor, the cracks pass the place where the mirror was hung and starts breaking the room into pieces. There is a sudden sparkle as the fake Amy turns into the real Amy.

Amy looks on the floor and sees the fake Amy smiling evilly on one of the broken mirror pieces. She smashed it with her foot and then when she looks around she sees the room's walls are completely gone and she runs from the non-exsistent room to an imaginary place of light.


Well, it could be better this way in my opinion. Thought it would change the storyline a little so the old way is the best still. :)

That's not how I invisioned it....I wrote this back on page 10 I think. Well Anyways This was my idea for GE.

Alright here’s my good enough video Ideas.
So the beginning starts off with an old fashioned book.
It opens up and writing fills the pages, then it goes to a page where there’s a moving picture which is amy and it then zooms into the page. And Amy starts to sing.
Then throughout the video it goes through different pages, each page is very different from the other, one amy could be standing in the rain, or just sitting in a bedroom. Idk..........
And then at the end of the video it will show the book’s last page with Amy smiling and then the book finally closes.

Something from the medival(sp?) era... I just have some pictures in my head for that:
1) Opens with (Amy if the band did the video) chained high up on a stone wall, and shows shots of this throughout the video
2)Ok thats all I have for now, will edit when I think of more... but I'm thinking goth-y castle, thunderstorm, being unfairly punished... persecution or something...
3) Ok heres another thought- in a scene in a town shes wearing a long black/grey wool coat that looks fashionable for the time- and the sleeves come off, the collar goes up, and the bottom is drawn up revealing red frills- high medivel(sp?again) fashion becomes goth/vampire dress with only a few buttons

i would love to see how Snow White Queen look like, but if it's in my own suggestions, here is:

= 3 imposters of Amy Lee
- a witch
- a snow white queen
- amy lee as herself (always wearing white dress) with the band members (to play instruments and stuff)

then it might have special effects for both Chorus and Bridge. but as for Bridge, i think when Amy Lee sing the line like "I can't save your life, thought nothing i bleed for is more tormenting..." then you can see a prince is trying to save her life but then he kiss her lips while Snow White (Amy Lee) is finally became back to life. Then when you see the line likes "i'm losing my mind and you just stand there and stare as my world divides" this line should be when Prince has stare the world became dividing half before the beautiful clouds shine down to Snow White. Then she became Princess while he carry her and bring her back to the Castle... then Amy herself is happy... she walks in Snow White's castle.

I'm going to remake it later [when my music video project is assigned in my film class] and fix everything that I hate about it [some shaky shots, bad male costume, long, unedit shots, the beginning, the end... and more]. okay here's my idea for 'Sweet Sacrifice' even though theres already a video for it

(It's true, we're all a little insane']- close up of amy mouthing the words, camera shaking along with the banging

(but its so clear now that I'm unchained')- full shot of amy sitting down in her room at a mental hospital in a straight jacket

(fear is only in our minds taking over all the time')- shot of two bald evil looking male hospital interns walkg towards amy's room with shots of amy singing

(fear is only in our minds but its taking over all the time')- interns enter the room, heading for amy


(you poor sweet innocent thing dry your eyes and testify you know you live to break me- don't deny sweet sacrifice')- interns grab amy, theres a shot of a different amy standing up with a big dress on and awesome make up, singing, with big flashing lights everywhere, interns dragging amy towards the door, she is struggling to escape, we continue seeing the alternate amy singing

(One day I'm gonna forget your name')- as amy is pulled out the door she changes to wearing a black suit, ready for a funeral, in a cemetary, with people behind her, at sunset, still singing (lol exhausting to read)

(and one sweet day, you're gonna drown in my lost pain')- we see the other amy singing wit a fake sunset behind her, funeral amy stops at a grave and kneels down

(fear is only in our minds taking over all the time')- we see the sun set as amy places a rose on the grave

(fear is only in our minds but its taking over all the time')- other amy still singing but with a blue light background behind her, we see a shot behind funeral amy and we see that all the rest of the people have left and she is alone, still with her hand on the grave

(you poor sweet innocent thing dry your eyes and testify')- hand reaches out of the grave and grabs amy, other amy singing with big flashing blue lights behind her

(and oh you love to hate me don't you, honey?')- funeral amy singing, breaks away from the hand, and starts running

(I'm your sacrifice')- we see other amy sining, when 'sacrifice' is held, a mutilated head breaks out of the grave and starts screaming

(I dream in darkness I sleep to die erase the silence erase my life our burning ashes blacken the day A world of nothingness, blow me away) - we see a amy dressed in black, in a dark room, with gothic make-up on, singing, and on 'blow me away' she disintegrates


(Do you wonder why you hate?Are you still too weak to survive your mistakes?) - we see an amy dressed similarly to how she looks in the actual SS video running through the 'scary' forest, singing, on 'mistakes' the background starts to morph

(you poor sweet innocent thing dry your eyes and testify)- background morphs into a red cave with dead trees in the background

(you know you live to break me- don't deny sweet sacrifice) - the set bursts into flames, with sparks and flames going everywhere, amy is still singing, very aggressively lol

after song is over we see amy wake up from her terrible nightmare!

So, I've been thinking about the short story Ben wrote that Haunted was based on and I was thinking, wouldn't that make a kick-ass movie? Seriously, if it was done right, it would be sweet! Especially if it was directed by Tim Burton. And Ev could make a 'dark and epic' score.

Well... I've had this neat idea in my mind for awhile...and I've decided that it would be pretty cool.
So this idea could go towards any song really.
But it would take place sometime other than now like 1930's ish maybe... or earlier...
Anyways I think it would be cool to film on a really old stage. Like something either abandonded or just a really neat old theater.
And where the audience is suppost to be, there would be mirrors. Through each mirror there's an image that is reflected back rather than the band's reflection. Each image symbolizes something... idk what. Anyone could interpret the images in their own way.
It's kinda dark...and spooky...but it's kinda cool.
Yea so that's just kinda part of it....

Hey everyone, i'm new to evthreads so forgive me if my thread sux! lol.

We all have our favorite ev songs, many of which haven't been released as singles. So, what do you think the videos for those unreleased songs would be like, if they were in fact singles? What plays in your mind as a possible video setting when you hear these songs?

I know every time i listen to Lacrymosa, i can't helping wishing this was a single. In my mind, Amy and the band, choir and orchestra would be in the decaying ballroom of a huge mansion. Amy would be in that dress on the TOD cover, singing, twirling around, with pale, mannequin-like ,blank staring dancers behind her, dressed in those flowing gowns and such. (btw this is so not like the MCR Helena vid if that's what you're thinking)
and as the band keeps slammin' the room falls into a greater state of decay, and in the end where Amy sings the last line, she flings open the viney, thorny door she's opening in the middle of the album's booklet and disappears into the blinding white light. ;)

"I don't wanna hold you back now, Looooveee!" *flings open door...*

i can picture it in this crazy imaginary world where everything is really cartoon-y and bright with this bright purple sky, and then scenes from the "real world" that are really dark and depressing.

Ah, so I've had another idea for a video recently. Weirdly it came from a dream of mine...
So it's kind of bizarre...and dark...but I can't help it. :rolleyes:
The theme of it was kinda spooky yet not gory. But it was like a Masquerade Massacre...with out the Massacre (kinda) Sorry if I'm confusing you all, this is coming from a dream...so it's kinda choppy. :|
I don't know what song this would fit with...but I could just see it as a video.
Each person dressed up in the video, Amy, Tim, Terry...ect
Could be dressed up as things that they're hiding from...maybe emotions, or just things in general. Yet the whole masquerade has this eeriness to it (that I really can't write out, it's too weird to describe...it's just eerie
In the dream, the floor was made out of glass. (not that that has any importance) lol
Also, there was a room, with ripped up music and a broken piano (that's the masacre part), it's not gory but it was almost like someone "destroyed" the music.

That's all I can recall from it.
